Like we could not increase the damage of the spells we liked and were forced to go up in tiers to do bigger damage. Plus the dual casting stagger perk just made every dualcast OP so there was never a need to mix 2 different spells, 1 in each hand. But like that other anon said the 2 handed system in skyrim was amazing and I would honestly like that backported to oblivion. I geunely hope they keep it in the next TES game or TES going further too. The only clunky think about it was quickslotting shit, especially on controller and with vanilla UI it was annoying. I actually like syrims levelling and perk system oiver morrowind and oblivions system, i just wish they wouls bring back the 5 chools of magic and extend it as well as spell crafting and making alchemy more complex like it used to be as well as more rewarding. Skyrim was so fucking streamlined it is annoying.
