I love the irony that they tried to prevent animals from being eaten and only ended up being eaten themselves, plus they technically wanted animals to be treated with the same respect as humans so she did just that. Idea 2 is that a health inspector has visited the McDonalds she works at and she overhears them saying that no animals are allowed in the kitchen.
