thank you. the board was created out of anxieties from /vt/ culture, but they've mellowed out by 4chan's usage decline. /vyt/ has been nothing but nice in my experience.

i made the generals based off of vtubers i knew about, even if i didn't watch them. i've tried a few caspurr and randon streams, and they're not for me, but there's enough fans there that i felt like not everyone could be someone posting in bad faith. i wanted those theoretical fans to have a place to post anonymously without it getting bogged down with fighting or PL/alt life stuff. i'm not too familiar with the intricacies of tempura, armada, and starmin culture, but i didn't want to bring the negativities into a new space to keep it friendly.

i don't like quinn, and i didn't particularly enjoy making his general, but i think every fan should have a place to go to post anonymously in good faith. i didn't want to mention that because i don't want bytemarks to think they have a board owner who's hostile to them - i think they deserve their space, even if their oshi does things i dislike.
