Alright, jokes aside I'm sure not Cornette to crucify Kenny over these comments, it's his philosophy and has produced excellent matches, ofcourse this great main event match too. I don't know if I'm old fashioned or not but since he also talked about him evolving pro wrestling, and since everyone else thinks of it as a performance art as well heck even I'd classify it as such if asked to describe it , but hearing it from the wrestlers themselves, especially right after a match sure kills the mood for me. It takes a lot, moreso than ever now to really suspend people's disbelief and get emotionally involved in a match/feud, so after such an amazing show, to hear the new champion basically remind everyone that it's all an act, it kinda dampens my mood about the whole thing. Kenny arguably is the best wrestler in the world, top 5 if not top 3 out there today, but even so, he's never been one of my favourites. It's likely because of his whole mindset about wrestling, which is evident in all of his matches, and prevents me from totally connecting with him. Well it's not only him who thinks of it all this way, majority of the indy guys have this attitude too and no matter how good they are, them having that mentality always seems like there is some invisible barrier between me and them.
Well, that's just my opinion about the whole thing, how do you guys feel about this?
