NJPW KIZUNA ROAD THREAD Boliever 06/13/2018 (Wed) 07:29:22 Id: ffcf5a No. 119195
Welcome to cooldown untill g1 special mode brothers. DOMINION FALLOUT: Every non junior champ is a gaijin. Okadawinslol is over, Chris Jericho is IC champ and gonna hold that belt more hostage then lesnar does. The push to sell out the cow palace has begun, the time of selling out on name alone is over, they need a good card to sell out a place that size which they absolutely can, expect 10k seater NJPW US shows at least annualy going forward BUT WHAT'S COMING UP NEXT? Well we got 4 live shows this month then the g1 special on july 7th. But what are on these live shows??? Well two title matches, and a big retirement ceremony on the last one featuring the craziest main event all year that looks straight out of fire pro. The only other notable things on this tour are that every single opening match is tsuji vs uemura which WAY overdeliverd for a young lion matchup the last few times they did it, and the inclusion of jeff cobb into the undercard tags which seems to solidify his inclusion in the G1 now let's all hope matt riddle makes it in too. But enough chatter here's the info you need to know. SCHEDULE: LIONS GATE PROJECT 13 Jun 13th tonight @ 19:00 (JST)/ 3:00 (PDT) / 6: 00 (EDT) / 11: 00 (BST) Main event is Shota Umino vs Ayato Yoshida KIZUNA ROAD @ KOURAKEN NIGHT 1 June 17th @ 18:30 (JST)/ 2:30 (PDT) / 5: 30 (EDT) / 10: 30 (BST) Main event: Elgin vs Goto for the Never openweight title KIZUNA ROAD @ KOURAKEN NIGHT 2 June 18th @ 18:30 (JST)/ 2:30 (PDT) / 5: 30 (EDT) / 10: 30 (BST) Main event: Hiromu Takahashi vs El desperado for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship KIZUNA ROAD @ KOURAKEN NIGHT 3: SUPER STRONG MACHINE RETIREMENT CEREMONY June 19th @ 18:30 (JST)/ 2:30 (PDT) / 5: 30 (EDT) / 10: 30 (BST) Main event: Super Strong Machine, Super Strong Machine, Super Strong Machine, Super Strong Machine & Super Strong Machine, with special guest Super Strong Machine VS. Hiromu Takahashi, BUSHI, SANADA, EVIL & Tetsuya Naito this is the show to watch

FALE IS /ourguy/ CONFIRMED Interview with Tama Tonga. https://www.si.com/wrestling/2018/07/11/wwe-njpw-news-tama-tonga-bullet-club-interview >“This has been a long time coming,” said Tonga. “Kenny Omega started a subgroup, ‘The Elite,’ within Bullet Club. No one is the head of Bullet Club, no one ever has been, and we had a self-proclaimed leader focusing on his own ‘Super Kliq’ or whatever else nerd ass name it’s called. This war was sparked the moment ‘The Elite’ was formed.” >Tonga promises that Bad Luck Fale, who was not at the New Japan show this past Saturday, approved of the decision. >“Fale is the one who made the call,” said Tonga. “You’ll all find that out soon.” >“Rank is how Japan is run, and that’s how Bullet Club—true Bullet Club—is run. Not egotistical clowns running around, shouting ‘Look at me!’ True Bullet Club is discipline and order.” >“The ones putting in the work day in and day out in Japan, we were cast away,” said Tonga. “We tried, over time, to give them the benefit of the doubt, but it kept getting worse. The ideals of Bullet Club working together, being a team, and watching each other’s backs was no longer what we stood for. We were a divided club. It was just too much to ignore.” >“Balor and Styles taught us and showed us teamwork,” said Tonga. “Balor taught Fale and me so much in the New Japan dojo, and we have nothing but respect for him. AJ came into Bullet Club and was humble and a team player, someone who was here for the betterment of the team. That’s why they were placed, by the group, to the front. >“In terms of their in-ring styles, they have two very different styles but they are both amazing wrestlers. I have learned a lot from both.” >“We are the North,” said Tonga. “The other ones, they represent an idea, but they’re trying to separate themselves in their own selfish way. So we are taking back the idea of Bullet Club and pushing it forward. >“Saturday night was a test. When Kenny took a bigger role, he took out AJ and we supported him. The Bucks ousted Balor and we didn’t say a word. Yujiro Takahashi and Chase Owens, Marty Scurll and Hangman Page, they would have been on our side had they helped, but they didn’t. >“I admire Cody for his courage. He doesn’t know this, but I watch him. I’ve watched everything he’s done since he left New York. I admire his strength and courage, the way he stood up to Kenny. He made that step before me, which I admired. So we gave him a chance to show he was with us, not against us, but he made his choice.” >“My goal, my sole focus, is to straighten out Bullet Club,” said Tonga. “Take it back and push it forward. Wherever that takes me, that’s where I’ll go, whether that’s the G1 final or a match with Kenny. People still don’t know what Bullet Club is, but in due time, everyone will understand.” >“I am not the leader of Bullet Club,” Tonga explained. “Fale, me, and Loa, we are the leaders of Bullet Club, and anyone that’s with us. >“We are not ‘Firing Squad,’ we are Bullet Club, the Bullet Club. ‘Firing Squad’ only arrives when there is bulls— and betrayal.” That fucking story telling. That fucking consistency, considering Tama Tonga fought Kenny Omega during the 2017 G1 and ripped on him in the mic about The Elite. TONGANS ARE MAKING BULLET CLUB GREAT AGAIN
>>121439 >The foundation of the Bullet Club was built of the shoulders of legendary forefathers Finn Balor and AJ Styles. Tonga explained that both men supported his decision to exile the likes of Omega, the Young Bucks, and Rhodes. OH FUCK.

>>121429 He's back in japan and it looks like he doesn't need surgery.
>>121439 Based Tama airing all of my grievances about the reddit club and acknowleding Devitt's and especially AJ's positive influences on the group. Absolutely love everything he's said. Still sucks that Yujiro is out, i liked him the most out of the non-tongans. So right now there is Fale, Tama, Tanga Loa, Hikuleo and probably Taiji there. Feel like they need one more gaijin, else its just the tongan club plus Taiji.
>>121439 >The ones putting in the work day in and day out in Japan Tama, m8, the bucks have two titles in njpw and kenny is the iwjp champion. Meanwhile I cant even remember the last time I've seen the tongans aside from the g1 special.
>>121449 Hakus gonna get ya anon
(125.08 KB 1023x767 yoshi_fuckign_dies.jpg)

>>121439 Glad Tama is finally getting noticed, the BC BREAKup has been executed so well over time and never seemed like a random turn, it was all a slow build to a boiling point where frustration set and nobody could take it anymore. kenny v tama is gonna be a good main event at maybe King of pro wrestling or destruction later in the year
>>121452 Bullet Club drama has been rather disjointed I feel, they were only focused on the elite and their gay mandrama while the tongans were basically put on the side for the whole year up until Dontaku and mainly the G1 special. Right now it seems more focused so it should get good now.
>>121446 >Feel like they need one more gaijin, else its just the tongan club plus Taiji. I've been saying it for weeks now: Kota cucks Kenny with Chase Owens.
