(20.18 MB 640x360 Mickey Loves Mallory.mp4)

NATURAL BORN KILLERS extremely underrated film. satire of Gen X. <better than DOOM generation imo
Event Horizon. Think space Hellraiser with a little bit of Ghost Ship. The closest thing we will get to a cinematic depiction of what happens when one's gellar field goes down.
(246.56 KB 1200x795 event horizon spinny thing.jpg)

>>1978 event horizon is a great sci-fi horror. i wish they would do a remaster to touch up some of the outdated CGI. outside of that, the actors were amazing, the premise was original and horrifying. i do believe when i originally watched it, i felt unsafe and unwell. between the blackhole technology and interdimensional hell, i was captivated. GREAT PICK!

To be filed under "There can be only one" I liked both Highlander, and the Matrix. Too bad there weren't any sequels. But I will have to admit that "summon Sean Connery" is a pretty nifty superpower. Also, there was a fan-edit of, I guess the third Highlander? Mostly just trimmed a bunch of stuff out leaving the story line at: a race of immortal aliens were fighting desperately for a chance to sneak into Earth, where they could grow old and die. But if you got caught you were pulled out and became immortal again, and had to re-enter the arena to fight again, for the chance to die

They made a Doom movie, and that was pretty okay; had some great one liners, I thought. >Gettin' real tired of your filth, Portman. which was deserved of course. His famous line was something like >Hey ladies we're in a level five quarantine so I'm going to have to ask you to follow me ... So all I'm asking for is another Reaper run, only with ponies.
>>2028 >starring logan marshall-green i did like him in prometheus. might give it a whirl.
BRAVO TWO ZERO British soldier Andy McNab (Sean Bean) leads a British Special Air Services patrol deployed during the Gulf War to take down Saddam Hussein's growing arsenal of Scud missiles. The fearless unit successfully inserts itself behind enemy lines, but inclement weather and loss of radio communication threatens to doom its mission. Captured and taken prisoner by the Iraqi army, the heroic soldiers of Bravo Two Zero must overcome the odds to escape almost certain torture or death. GREAT PIECE OF HISTORY
CABIN IN THE WOODS most underrated horror flick out there. THE HOUSE THAT JACK BUILT best serial killer movie outside of Silence Of The Lambs imho

So, I don't have any .webm clips handy but ... of the two horror franchises my mom introduced me to, Poltergeist was one (and repeating that quote above, because she didn't catch what the father said, earned an honest spit-take and a full minute of "I can't talk yet" chuckling) ..and Nightmare on Elm Street. "IT" I came to enjoy when it was in its reboot, similar to how I never played DnD before the much-hated Version.4 won me over.

Quite depressed these days. When I'm in this mood I appreciate (don't know excatly why) watching some movies with (((Ben Stiller))). Today I was thinking about watching again Mystery Men. I liked this movie, underrated imo and was a box office flop when came out. I think because people were expecting a real super hero Marvel like movie despite it's clearly a satyre. Good aesthetic and interesting reflections on the role of the super hero model. Good acting, funny moments and not so bad actions scene. Not a great movie but definitively one I like to watch when sad mood happen.

Currently watching Severance. >https://fmovies.ps/tv/watch-severance-online-77419 I'm intrigued by the idea of deliberately splitting one's personality into "work" and "off-duty," although, given how nightmarish some of my bosses have been, I think I'd probably kill myself rather than continue to work forever without a tangible break. >Mark leads a team of office workers whose memories have been surgically divided between their work and personal lives. When a mysterious colleague appears outside of work, it begins a journey to discover the truth about their jobs. Basically, once you go down the elevator to work, you're "Work Me" and once you come up, you're "Off-Duty Me." The workers don't even really know what they're working on as they've been given a ton of post-hypnotic suggestions to keep them from really knowing what they're up to, and also from escaping. The business is super secret and is half-cult, half-CIAesque. Unfortunately, it, like every other CY+7 show, is pozzed, although I've seen worse. They have John Tuturro and Christopher Walken inching towards some sort of homosexual sub-plot, although it probably won't be very graphic (fingers crossed).

>>10710 >Want to see the New Batman movie to. Was quite good. >3 hours <afraid of boredom >no boring Very nice photography work, Pattinson serving a good Batman imo. Part strong, part beset by doubt. Some nice action scenes and a good scenario, sometimes reminiscent of some good old film noir. >>10759 >Severance Like the idea. Will watch.
>>11957 >Was quite good. Honestly, I'm with you. That movie was so much better than it had a right to be, especially considering all the pre-drama with Pattinson's bullshit about making a skinny Batman so he wouldn't "body shame anyone" (still not sure if that's a troll or not) and him allegedly impregnating Zoe Kravitz on the hood of the Batmobile. Paul Dano's Riddler was exceptional, and possibly crazier than any current incarnation of Joker. Which means if they get the nod for a second movie, their Joker is going to make Morbius' Joker look sane.
Saw a decent one last night on Fmovies. Palm Springs. It's Groundhog's Day taken to an extreme (which is saying something considering Bill Murray's character in GD probably spent 10,000 years in Punxsutawney). It's not going to win any awards but it's some fairly mindless fun. The female lead is cute in a "girl next door" kinda way. >https://fmovies.ps/movie/watch-palm-springs-online-62184 >When carefree Nyles and reluctant maid of honor Sarah have a chance encounter at a Palm Springs wedding, things get complicated as they are unable to escape the venue, themselves, or each other. It's got Andy Samberg and JK Simmons in it. And a brief cameo by dinosaurs

>>10759 Original reviewer, here. First season is done and I rewatched it. It's amazing how many clues are just lying around in the open from the first episode on. And, unlike unbridled faggotry like Lost and The Leftovers, some questions are actually answered instead of left in the "mystery box" that has two fuckholes in it for JewJew Abrams and Lindlehoff to rape.
Also, Moon Knight? Not too bad, so far. I've seen worse out of Disney's Not-So-Secret-Gay-Agenda propaganda arm.
>>10759 >>11964 I really liked it as well. I had the same worry about unopened mystery boxes. Looking forward to the next season.
>>11962 >all the pre-drama wasn't aware of all this shit (I usually don't have interest in this kind of drama). All I knew was there was a new Batman movie. Just waited for it to be available on streaming and watch it.

In the process of looking far a particularly trippy animation, I came across a YT'r explaining what cosmic horror is, and the clips that intrigued me were from a movie call Annihilation. It's a movie about cancer. Mostly. I look forward to finding a way to watch it. I can also recommend MLPtng, for completely different reasons. Mostly.

>>14622 >Have you ever watched Interstellar? Opinions? I liked most of it, but holy shit did I have a hard time with the father/daughter stuff. I saw it during my daughter's rebellious phase and I couldn't help identifying with McConaughey's character. >"Alright alright alright... I'm gonna do the best to save my daughter and the resta th' Earth" >"Fuck you, dad!" >"Sheeeeeeeit." It was all too easy to put myself in his spaceboots. The thought of missing her growing up in exchange for making sure she had a future made my chronic depression flare up for week after seeing it. >>11975 >what mobie is this? No mobie. Teebee. It's from the 2017 third season of Twin Peaks. Bob has taken over Cooper's body and decides he wants to challenge the local gang chief for control of his goons. They arm wrestle and Bob, being supernatural, is able to goose Cooper's body into super strength. Bob plays with the guy for a few minutes, letting him think it's too close to call, then he starts dicking with him saying things like "Huh, my arm hurts a little when it's like this [indicates himself in the near loss position, then easily moves the bossman's hand over] but it doesn't hurt like this." The boss suddenly starts to panic as this middle-aged faggot he was going to have a little fun with is suddenly winning with what appears to be zero effort, and he realizes that Bob has just been fucking with him the entire time.
>>12701 >It's a movie about cancer. How right you are. It stars Natalie Portman and Tessa Thompson, two of the worst feminist actresses on Earth, in an all-female ensemble who head into the wrecked lands surrounding a meteor. For once there's an actual justification for "all female cast" as the military is throwing all sorts of ideas at the wall to see what sticks, and all previous failed missions had been male or male/female mixed. As a prism refracts light, so the meteor refracts reality, and it ends up twisting everything in its range of effect. It's trippy as fuck, sometimes beautiful, and, in the case of the predators and lost missions, sometimes chilling. It's based on books called The Southern Reach Trilogy. I haven't read them, yet, but I'm looking forward to doing so. >I look forward to finding a way to watch it. Make sure you have a VPN. https://fmovies.ps/movie/watch-annihilation-online-19713
Saw Bullet Train last night. Worth theater money if you haven't read the book, but fans of the book will probably be pissed off. Still, funny with lots of great fight scenes

>>17034 i remembermy mom telling my dad that she was taking me out to see mall cop when i was younger(about 30 at the time) and i was actuallyexcited to see the movie but when we were in line she was like we're actually gonna watch the movie with dustin hoffman and emma thompson and i was prettybummed like i was really young at the time( early thirties) but watching that movie i was like this is such boomerbate( not trying to be mean to any of the older anons here on tvch) like i dont remember much other then them both being like Remeber the sixties?!! and i was like no i dont and also the subplot with emmas characters mom thinking that her neighbor was a murderer over all I've never seen the two mall cop movies but i once saw that other one where the guy shoots the naked guy at the end also on and unrelated note i find that when i drink wine insteadof beer i don't get a headache
