Why did hungama decide to air obscure cartoons like picsrel? I am not complaining, just wondering. They're not very popular at least in the English speaking world >the Wikipedia page for kiteretsu has just one year's worth of episode list >no episodes on 9anime or animixplay >kochikame Wikipedia page is well populated >but not easy to find online The rest of the shit on their channel was quite popular (shin Chan, Doraemon etc) but those were very obscure. I wonder how the channel people found on decided to air these. Kochikame Hindi dub is really great btw
>>231 https://9anime.vc/watch/kiteretsu-encyclopedia-5109 these are in japanese with no subs. I guess there are hindi episodes somewhere behind 10 ads but probably not in once place and I'm too lazy to find them. Now to come to your question, it is probably because these were obscure their licensing fees were low, which our tv channels brought for cheap, or maybe they searched for shows similar to Doraemon which is known to be popular throughout asia. This would explain the abundance of shows like kiteretsu, perman, etc. Now that I think about it, these shows aren't actually obscure. They are pretty big in japan. Ninja hattori, chibi maruko, shinchan, etc were all shows that were extremely popular in japan. They are obscure in the english speaking world(which is mostly just americans) because they never aired there. And since 4chan /a/ is mostly americans you will think these are some super rare stuff. So maybe our tv channels just brought over shows that were cheaper to license(due to their age) and their popularity in japan.
>>233 you might be surprised but hindi episodes are easier to find than english subbed ones >Now to come to your question, it is probably because these were obscure their licensing fees were low, which our tv channels brought for cheap, or maybe they searched for shows similar to Doraemon which is known to be sounds absolutely correct >Now that I think about it, these shows aren't actually obscure. They are pretty big in japan. Ninja hattori, chibi maruko, shinchan, etc were all shows that were extremely popular in japan yeah seems like kochikame was quite popular in jap. haven't checked the rest. they did a good job imo because westerners and anime, they don't mix well
