Whoever reported
>>458,
>>450,
>>448, I'm not going to delete them. If you see somebody making an ass of himself, point and laugh, preferably with reaction images, instead of reporting everyone you disagree with or whom you hate. My vision for /animu/ rules is to delete only illegal or rule-breaking or glaringly off-topic content, such as spam, so as to avoid users self-censoring and stifling their creativity. It's a slow board right now so there's no need for sacrificing freedom of expression for making janny lives easier and you can't apply 4/a/ moderation standards 1:1 at this PPH because a lot of them were ham-fisted to quickly deal with large volumes of reports, plus all the normalfag jannies banning anons for racism and such. Those who like janny powertripping can just go to 4/a/, so what exactly would /animu/'s niche be in that case? For the same reason I restored
>>709. As for what was going on in the GuP thread with mika tranny, I don't want to even give warnings for shitflinging unless they were chimping out especially disruptively, which was not the case. Just ignore, point and laugh, or filter out the namefag. I must admit I'm biased though since I have a soft spot for unhinged schizos as long as they're not shitting up the entire catalog.
Also,
>>406 was a raildex thread that I created with a pantyshot of Misaka and a schizo NSFW copypasta as the OP, because I thought it was pretty funny, and that got deleted and I got a 1-day ban. I'm not going to post it again but mods please let anons have some fun, policing for ""quality"" is a slippery slope and will piss off users who don't share the same tastes as you. You have to be willing to risk generating controversy by not deleting everything you don't like if you ever want to attract creative, free-thinking people instead of r*ddit NPCs and living in your sanitized echochamber.

I'll probably change the spoiler image soon. Suggestions are welcome.

I posted in
>>371 what I think should be spoilered, but essentially I meant hardcore porn, not all NSFW. Additionally, I think the spoilering should be stricter when OP has clearly stated that he wants a discussion thread, not a porn dump, so e.g. mandatory spoilering for all NSFW images. I think letting the OP decide the moderation standards for his own thread is a good compromise between gooners and effortposters.

I intend to continue being the BO for /animu/, since I don't see any great alternatives and nothing stops anons from posting to multiple altchans. 4/a/ is even more cucked than before, 8/a/ is much slower and has IDs and word filters, smugloli (original 8/a/) has too many irrelevant rules, PLW (original 8/animu/) is somewhat okay, but has an AI art, streaming and Vcancer generals as top threads, plus I don't want to give up on 8/animu/, since 8moe is one of the top altchans, kissu is actually okay and I'll keep an eye on it, and shamiko is a porn dump with kirara and avery being literal trannies. The rest are too small. If I end up being the last /a/non posting by myself in the desolate wasteland of altchans as everyone else goes back to r*ddit, xitter, 4cuck, or just joins the normalfag world, so be it.
At the end of the day an imageboard is made up of its users. If the users are fun, creative, smart, enterprising, and stand up for themselves, its culture blooms. If it's made up of bots, shills, retards, and normalfags who use it as a discord replacement, you get 4chan. The moderators are to blame insofar as they articulate and enforce the social contract of the board, and thus which kinds of users it attracts. Blaming every slide thread or shitpost that gets lots of (You)s on them is disingenuous, but attracting low-quality users by creating stupid rules or enforcing them selectively is a valid criticism.
