>Is it really dumb when 99% of the global player base can't even speak or understand JP?
That's the point, yes, it is really dumb to change what one would expect to get for the global version of the game given there's no point in changing it for people who can't understand why it's being changed.
>Aside from that one time where the Jap asked for Mika's mini comic series, the official contents for JP and KR are completely detached from each other.
That's correct from Nexon and Yostar's perspective. But from the player's perspective every ASMR, Comic, anime, short, everything official is Blue Archive. And hearing a completely different version of Seia in the game vs everything else outside it, both past, present and future, is just needlessly confusing.
>This is tricky because it varies from people to people, but how many fanmade contents actually adapt Seia's mannerism in their works?
An immense amount of them, just originating from shorts and lines alone you have them, and outside of that you have to remember it's not just her complex vocab that is being changed. For example, if you've read a comic about the tea party, you'll notice that they all talk differently, but if it was being true to global then Nagisa and Seia should speak pretty much the same way, which you know is very much never the case. Seia in her new voicelines is extremely polite and talks like a generic ojou-sama, how much art do you see depicting her as such?
