i'm thinking they might partner up with entergram, the aquarium devs, for their vn. they hung out with aqua a bit before she graduated and could have gotten a phone number to someone from entergram from her. then they got permission to do a full playthroguh of aquarium from entergram. and with aqua's graduation aquarium 2 was cancelled, so entergram might be willing to partner with them since aquarium was a success. unless fuwamoco has a specific dev they want to try and partner with, i think entergram would be a safe bet.

Two of their closest friends, Nerissa would love the chance to do VA stuffs, and you can easily work it into their lore with both of them being similarly demon/underworld themed. You could have Mori as their boss in the Makai where they actually work as guard dogs, and Nerissa as their childhood demon friend (she should also have a joke route like Marine's in Aquarium)

We might finally have some movement on the FWMC VN. They recently followed the artist Bekkankou on twitter. He works for the studio August Soft, and August Soft works with Entergram. Bekkankou's vndb credits: https://vndb.org/s893 Some examples of his work, obviously FWMC's VN won't have lewds.

Still no news, but Fubuki was talking about seeing them for Gamers Fes. She said they talked to Okayu about Okayunyumu, asking her questions about the recording process and saying they were looking forward to the English release. FuwaMoco told Okayu they want to make a VN like that someday too.

Almost a year since it was announced and there has still been no progress. Hopefully they can get the ball rolling in 2026.

Now that we know it's actually being worked on I guess it's a good time to speculate. I'm assuming Entergram is working on, so my speculation is being made with that in mind. Aquarium and Okayu Nyumu had short routes for the side characters, but since FuwaMoco are a duo I'm not expecting any guests. The routes will be the main FuwaMoco route where you romance them both, a short Fuwawa route and a short Mococo route you can get in the middle of the game, and a super short gag Pero route. >>358 This timeline might not be too far off actually. Okayu Nyumu 2 is coming out about a year after the first one, so it's possible FuwaMoco's game could have a 1 year turn around time. Just because they hadn't had any official meetings at the time it doesn't mean they weren't putting in some work here and their looking for staff. And as you said this artists has worked with Entergram, so it works well with my thoughts that Entergram is making this game too. The only other thing that might disprove this though is I think Aquarium and Okayu Nyumu had the same artist. So that artist might just be Entergram's default when working with Hololive. Anyways, I'm glad progress is finally being made. And if Okayu Nyumu is anything to go by, if the FuwaMoco VN is a success then there are also chances for sequels.
