I've got two optical setups, but on the same mounting system. One for videoing planets+moon and another for shooting deep space photos because they're totally different fields to get into. Left is for planets, 8" f/10 carbon tube with a high framerate camera, honestly the tube is a bit shit and needs work doing to get it right.
Right is for deep space, it's a lot more involved and more sort of the route I've wanted to go down. Thats an 80/600mm f/7.5 lens with a black+white mono cooled camera with an RGB filter wheel to combine/make colour images, I've mounted a small desktop and a 5" monitor to the top that runs off 12v which controls the mount so you can type in what you want to view and it'll move to it automatically and track it etc, has a second lens with a second camera feeding positional data running through the pc to correct error in the worm gearing and shit to keep motion tracking accurate by constantly adjusting position. I've also mounted a tiny wifi router to it, so I can remote desktop the telescope and run it indoors or from inside a tent.
The power supply is home made from using a 100ah like lorry battery in a box, I've put in 7x cigarette lighter sockets, 4x USB sockets, a voltmeter, ammeter+shunt, buck-boost converter for a 19v socket to power laptops, a screen to monitor all of these things and it's all fused up with those little automotive fuses in a fusebox
It's nice gear tbh and a lot of DIY has gone into it but it's largely sat unused for about 2 years because it's all just too much now, I cannot do it and then do a day's work in the morning. Bit off way more than I can chew ngl
