I'm pretty sure Zach knows Smiling Friends isn't making it past season 3 before becoming boring and he's trying to shove as many artists he knows into the show while Adult Swim still let's him so they have their names in credits and can have an in into bigger projects in the future. Kudos to him.

You have guys trying to defend KotH, when it does the same thing as the earlier Jeff Foxworthy Show and the later Last Man Standing. Also, the thing he's complaining about, that people want to be seen as smart based on the media they consumer, has been around for centuries. Star Wars was often ridiculed as being "low brow" compared to "smart sci-fi" series like Star Trek. Many film snobs will ridicule you for not watching "smart movies" like Midnight Cowboy and Citizen Kane. the English constantly ridiculed Americans because we preferred paper dime-novels over their autistic hardbacks. You see it with art, music, intelligencia, and so on. It's nothing new. Lastly, his example of Beavis and Butthead is a little funny when I have absolutely ZERO desire to watch that series, but I'll be right there and waiting to watch dumb stupid movies like Airheads, Wayne's World, and Bill & Ted (The first one).
