Hey /co/, have you heard of Jellystone? It's a fun Hanna-Barbera show with lots of slapstick. So far only half of S1 has released, but there's lots of favorites, Top Cat, Yogi, Huckleberry Hound, Jabberjaw. If you miss slapstick I say give it a shot.
>>16520 >From Curly Howard with Rodney Dangerfield catchpharses <To a retarded Leslie Jones impersonator >>16658 >Dykes trying way too hard to impersonate the original actors from Top Cat Is like having currently updating your tumblr account can fuck up your sense of humor and makes spread your legs to get pegged.
>>16614 Boomerang wasn't intended for modern cartoons at the time. It makes more sense to air shows like Dexter, Two Stupid Dogs, The Sylvester & Tweety Mysteries, and Cow & Chicken on it now. Than it did in the late 2000s, early to mid 2010s. >>16658 That's provocative, and if they can do that then Pepe Le Pew can "chase women."
>>16672 >The Sylvester & Tweety Mysteries That was on Kids WB, which also had better shows than Cartoon Network.

>>16479 >motion rigged Nigger why? How come bobby spongey is the only fucking American cartoon allowed to exist without motion tweening?
>>16678 True and very true. But the Boomerang On Demand service had it listed also.
(34.48 KB 397x520 gentlepersuasion.jpg)

>>16678 It had some better shows, but then it also had Johnny Test and Coconut Fred.
>>16672 >then Pepe Le Pew can "chase women." There was a scrapped scene for Space Jam 2 where he was getting a restriction notice and Petunia would take his place instead, but that was shitcanned thanks to corporations listening to triggered roasties. Dave Alvarez keeps getting the shit on the stick.
>>16701 >triggered roasties. Anon this isnt twitter.

>>16701 You forgot to mention how an actress got her only role in the film cut because it involved slapping Pepe so hard that he would spin on his bar stool, and then she cried to the media about how it was a big moment for her to finally give him what he deserves only for the studio to remove the whole thing.

>>16718 >she cried to the media about how it was a big moment for her to finally give him what he deserves only for the studio to remove the whole thing. <laughs in rapist skunk
>>16711 How else you want to mention it: Cheap Ramona Flowers' impersonators? >>16718 I feel bad for Dave Alvarez clearly an example of never meet your heroes up and close, stick to your drawing practices as a hobby and don't prioritize them as a main income.
>>16718 It's also amusing because Pepe Le Pew depicts french people as smelly rapists, and that part was never an issue.
>>16718 >You forgot to mention how an actress got her only role in the film cut because it involved slapping Pepe so hard that he would spin on his bar stool Oh, that is kind of sa... >then she cried to the media about how it was a big moment for her to finally give him what he deserves only for the studio to remove the whole thing. What a fucking double nigger faggot, Pepé Le Pew did nothing wrong.

I ended up watching it but i felt nothing. everything was just drawn out for way too long or not funny in the slightest.
>>16939 Fair enough, I'm guessing you weren't a fan of Chowder.
>>16945 i enjoyed chowder but jellystone doesnt hold nearly as big of a light as that show. if jellystone had some more thought out jokes and voice actors that werent just reading from a piece of paper maybe i could enjoy it. also the voice dynamic between the main cast of chowder is what really sells that show, they really were having fun with it.
>>16946 I see what you mean, I can understand and respect why you're not fond of it, I'm sorry it wasn't as entertaining for you. I'm just glad we're seeing slapstick in Cartoons, Dialogue's great but I'm a sucker for idiots hitting each other.
>>16952 >I'm just glad we're seeing slapstick in Cartoons Bearing in mind the The wonderful world of mickey mouse and looney tunes cartoons are airing we are certainly having a slapstick resurgence.
>>16956 You know I've been meaning to watch The Mickey Mouse Shorts/the Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse.

>>16510 >asks question so simple, anyone can answer >around a half hour later, one anon answers preferring the former, while disagreeing with another anon a minute later >more than ten days later, no other anon has yet to answer, while defending gender swapping Really tells ya a whole lot, doesn't it?
(31.63 KB 500x281 doctorwhoremovekebab.jpg)

>>16945 >Chowder. >came out at the same time as Flapjack >Flapjack would be a better name for a cook and Chowder would have been a better name for a sailor >mfw I can't murder Cartoon Network creators without going to jail
>>16939 This. The pacing is all off and the humor is telegraphed and toothless. Having such utterly simple designs still rigged makes it even worse. I wanted to like this show because I enjoyed Chowder but this isn't inspired. It's like "IP usage: the show" without any idea what to do with the characters aside from sex-reassignment. Yogi being an incompetent doctor is sort of a character? But considering his talents he would be a much better thief.
It's literally the Looney Tune's Show but for Hanna Barbara. What's worse is that it doesn't receive any fanfare from anyone who isn't a fucking furry. Good lord the show's been out for what, about a month? There's so much fur faggotry there that it's astounding. I have yet to see any non furries talking about it in any way.
I don't give a fuck about Jabberjaw's fancy new vagina, but the jarring motion rigging, spastic meme references and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jThsTDl6SF0 made me dash my cursor away from the magnet link in a nanosecond. I'd rather watch that mapel town ripoff those SU interns are cooking up than this crap
>>17077 >mapel town ripoff What?
>>17077 >mapel town ripoff the fungies? or is it another show that i sort of remember but don't know the name of?

It's essentially the lukewarm mixed child of chowder and harvey beaks, it's decent but it's too balanced. Not enough wacky, not enough comfy. It felt like greenblatt was too restricted by the execs into truly making it his show, or maybe the direction really is on purpose. Suffice to say, it's just ok
>>16658 >>16661 Almost as bad as seeing the PPG twerk.
>>17164 Thank you for actually providing something of substance to this shitshow of a thread.
>>17164 Imagine having unstrained unprotected nasty gay jew sex with whitesplatt
>>17164 >Limiting Greenblatt's sense of humor They got dykes as producers, so it checks out. >>40274 That's what it feels like when you work for TimeWarner.
>>16356 These shows generally "suck" because whatever good moments they do have are just repeated until they become boring. That first season is rough with no guarantee of renewals so everyone is afraid to pump in effort anyway. Then it somehow gets renewed despite the low ratings, because they've already pumped funds into development so it's just cheaper to renew than make something else. /pol/ whines WOMEN but watches it anyway(so they can make crying YT videos) which only serves to increase the ratings & the attention it gets. You will never see Batman TAS quality again.
>>40615 >/pol/ whines WOMEN but watches it anyway No they don't. Nobody knows what this is.
>>40615 >/pol/ No, jewtube grifters like the Quarterpounder do that.
>>40620 >well you see he's not one of us because... um... I say so OK? Nah he's a typical Trump's Deranged Supporter who can't grasp reality.
>>40622 Has he ever named the jew? Has he vocally supported Israel (I'm sure he has) Then he's not /pol/
