This just got a massive update. 20 pages now. I'll post the full changelog: The CYOA is now 19 (20) pages long. Various grammar mistakes were fixed where I’ve remembered noticing them. Minor graphical edits here and there. Clarified in 00’s Patron God description how her false ascent impacted the total Ascension plan. Originally it stated something that could be interpreted as soul enrichment being reversed, which is not what I had in mind. Family Points were renamed into Ancestry Points. That one guy who had suggested it was right, this does sound better and I wish I had thought of it myself. You now start with 20 Ancestry Points instead of just 15. The text on the You description in the Reincarnation section now has one more paragraph to represent a new section added in the update. You are now allowed to use Adoption to only discard one parent instead of both. Adoptive parents now have their Ancestry Point costs turned into Destiny Points. Characters specifically requiring Adoption perk are naturally exempt from this. Buying a Sibling now only costs 1 AP instead of 1 AP and 3 DP. Sibling description now states that you can only choose the age of your sibling within reason. You really shouldn’t be able to have a brother born a trillion years after you, and I really shouldn’t have to point this out. Random placement holder picture I’ve accidentally left for Dice Fudge perk has been replaced. Dice Fudge can now be used to turn a Mentor into an adoptive parent. Turning a parent candidate into a Mentor via Dice Fudge now states to flip their point cost into Destiny Points. Unnotable Ones now give only 4 DP instead of 5 DP (I initially wanted it to be 3 DP, but I don’t want to hurt a fan favorite option too much). Being adopted by an Unnotable One now only gives 1 DP, because the points you gain that way were supposed to be a compensation for not inheriting Inborn Gifts to begin with. By popular demand, Laika now can speak Palatiner. Marsaget Sarmat and Senamotis Sarmata now cost only -1 AP each if you purchase both of them instead of -4 AP each. Zwa Aureole and Iwnn Aureole now cost only -2 AP each if you purchase both of them instead of -5 AP each. [JNPL] now costs -5 AP and -5 DP instead of -7 AP and -7 DP.

I will allow you to pretend to not see this rule if you’re choosing one of the hidden races from the extended list despite requiring 00 to be dead as per the Other option’s requirements. Changed the male picture of the Alf race, because they both need to be golden haired. Adjusted the male picture of the Tumen race, because there was a random white dot on his hair. Race group description was shrunk to fit the rest of the section on the page. Northerners and Southlanders now get +1 Companion slot. Muddish and Tumen now get +1 Mentor slot. Eldar now get +2 AP. Sidhe now get +2 DP. Alf get +1 Companion slot. Drow get +1 Mentor slot. Beastfolk now get +2 AP and +2 DP instead of +1 AP and +1 DP. Aranea now get Metamorphosis, their own unique lifespan Inborn Gift.

Added 3 new languages. There’s now 89 Inborn Gifts instead of just 45. Agelessness, Bitter Sickness and Multiocular O now have new pictures. Ethereal Beauty now costs only 1 AP instead of 2 AP. Description for the effect of double Eye for Shadows has been slightly altered to make it feel more authentic to the gift. Description for the effect of All-Glimpse had been expanded to account for some newly revealed information. Halfbreed perk gains a potential drawback Inborn Gift if you’re overly ambitious in what you’re grabbing from both of your races. Bestial Strength gift is now said to have some theoretical upper limit, but this has no effect for most users – it’s only a caveat to prevent someone from creating an infinite loop somehow, and for some other power interactions. Process of obtaining the Everlasting gift was nerfed to make all other lifespan gifts gain value. There is now a distinction between starting lifespan gifts and ones you get upon meeting specific conditions. Also, the way different starting lifespan gifts overwrite each other has been slightly altered as well, allowing some ambitious Halfbreed perk enthusiasts to get more of them if they are compatible. Specified that slots for eyes gained via Multiocular O are not suitable for Missed Shape.

Intro to the Death section now tells you that you can’t repeat letters on the same single character as well. Both of the Yee letters are now displayed on the option. Descriptions of a few letters received minor additional flavor. Commentary under Vedi now states that you are guaranteed to be chosen by the next Outsider instead of just being potentially picked. Commentary under letter On now hints on what the death could be instead of just saying it will be unknown. This is done to better parallel its counterpart letter Nash, as it is supposed to. You are now offered a reward of +5 AP for picking Khier. Price of Ot has increased from -1 DP to -5 DP; however, since original Omega used to cost -5 DP, the full result is one point cheaper with this arrangement. Text of Uplifting now tells about primitive tribes around the world in general instead of specifically Beastfolk in the interior of the Mamet continent (because they are now playable from the start). And maybe some other things I could have forgotten to record. If you learn from Tenyota and turned All-Glimpse into a degraded but learnable discipline, would you get your regular eyesight back or otherwise be able to restore vision to your eyes? I was considering it as an idea to master magic early then get the benefit of being able to actually see while raising the general level of mages and magic in the world.

Did you really, REALLY just make me cross reference an entire nineteen plus One something pages of lore documents chasing down Vtorusha's plot line for the snarky answer of taking Multiocular-O sans other eye powers and getting in the robot to act as her normal eyes and break the logic error by letting her see clearly?
