Also it's worth pointing out how in most companies that dabble into gachas and mobile games even as a "side hustle" they end up being the most profitable parts of them. Mobages and XIV are keeping Square Enix alive, for example. Now imagine the profits if you don't piss your money away on dead on arrrival games
