We kinda slid right past it with the whole Lucia thing but I really, really liked the Orphie & Magus character demo. During the story, it really stuck out to me how Magus lacks any real dysmorphia from being stuck as a sapient gun, one attached to a clone of her younger self no less. Or at the very least, it's not addressed much at all.
Magus feels like she should be angrier, more short tempered, just all around far more pissed than she is, with Orphie being her cooler head. We kind of get that, but that's mostly just Magus being a hardass and Orphie ineffectually telling her to calm down, more comedic relief than drama.
In the trailer, you see Magus absolutely lose her shit on sight, and I can easily imagine she's having flashbacks to that disastrous Hollow Zero mission that cost her her life, her body and doomed her to being a souped up accessory. She understandably crashes right out.
I'd like to have seen more of that in the story, but we don't really get it, because there's not really any room in said story for Magus to absolutely lose her shit. Ah well, it was nice seeing it here, at least.
Orphie and Magus are cute together, and round each other out well. She'll get a few ten pulls from me.
