Would it make more sense for younger races to die young, and for older races to keep getting older? Neither is particularly desirable, and the latter is asking for an Indiana Jones situation. Maybe race-based aging isn't such a good idea, after all.

Oh yeah we still have no idea about the lifespans of most races do we? The Iberian inquisitor grandpa was probably over 100 if him knowing Kal'tsit went so many years back, Blaze is somehow 40 despite looking 25 at most. But someone like Catherine doesn't seem like she's over the age of 100 and she looks like a complete hag. And some races like the Sarkaz don't age at all until they suddenly do like that old fake hotel owner in arc 2. It's a goddamn mess
