Certain things were good, and very important things were bad. For example,
I still think Anis's entire subplot should have been a side story released shortly before her alt release, since it massively dragged down the flow of the chapters, and was entirely boring and irrelevant stuff for 80% of it that had almost no connection to the plot of the main story. It was mostly all personal stuff. It felt like I was reading a separate event story of Anis in the main story.
Neon's parts were interesting and connected to the underlying plot in Nikke. I was genuinely surprised by how much I enjoyed her interactions with Exotic and Jien. Definitely one of the best parts. They are going in the right direction with her.
Levi's resolution was bad. Straight-up. I talked enough about that. Horrible.
Mori is forced, and still shows the same things that annoy me about her from US.
Liberalio got too little time. SKK and Liberalio were together for half a chapter, and instead of dividing attention to that, we were constantly focused on Rapi and Matis. I wanted to see something similar to the development between SKK and Grave, something close and personal. More talks and interactions, trying to understand who and what Liberalio is. I wanted to see a growing bond or at least the start of one between them, but since the writers are trying to do so many things at once (4beasts, queen, Anis, Neon, Liberalio, etc), there was very limited focus. There was too much going on. Too many characters to properly give each one time. Her resolution felt rushed.
The new Queen is a bit of a weird case to me. I am not sure how I feel about her. I don't know why they made her a small Rapi. Why not a small Red Hood? The hug part felt a bit random, too. I don't know what the explanation is for her wanting that.
All in all, I'd give the 2 chapters a 6/10. There were some good moments and interactions, but some other things just drag it down for me.
