...They couldn't just have it be
>They generally are stationed within the capital near the palace. Meetings or dealings between Harbingers can take place at any moment, though it isn't unheard of for one to disappear for a time on missions of their own.
Is it that hard? You can still have groups of them participate in tea parties or group up for certain events or what have you, they don't have to be school buddies hanging out after classes.
I'll get to Columbina here in a second, but I really don't know what was with the weird whiplash with Sandrone. I'll even say up until she mentions Pulonia by name, everything was fine. Personally greeting you the second you step into her territory, amazing. But she goes from secretive, psychotic (if bratty) scientist with a vindictive streak to... this. I think what hurts the most is that any traces of the cool factor and personality will at best be deep in voice lines and the occasional edgy birthday letter. I'm fine with those, but it would be far better if the personality we've been lead to assume was still there.

I've dealt with people trying to tell me that 'Bina being ditzy and aloof is perfectly in line with the quotes that two Harbingers who had been around her (one of whom has been her colleague for at least 100ish years before his resignation without a 2 week notice). I'm more shocked they're capable of any form of communication with the amateur lobotomy they clearly suffer from but still the problem is that our sources are two guys who are quite capable and happy with trying to kill you being mildly disturbed by a wing sporting hebe in a dress and we're supposed to not take their word for it?

The power scaling bullshit is horrendous for multiple reasons, and there really was nothing seriously wrong with Harbingers and a long running plan vs Celestia with the possible backing of archons between the two groups. Unfortunatley, now we're here and I frankly don't know what the fuck the Tsaritsa even has for a plan when the way up in bullshit land are the Shades and five dickheads from the Moleman nation doing whatever they please. Looking at things now, it feels like the Tsaritsa is a toddler trying to show us her bright idea for us all to do so we can make this month's house payment. The scale is just not there anymore.
Never mind that half of these supposed super powerful Harbingers also all for reasons lost most of their original power so we can't even have the satisfaction of them being powerful.
My bigger issue is how hard they contort the Harbingers into being our pals. I have no issue with having some that are friendly to us, neutral or flat out hostile, but they have pretty much removed any actual bite from the cast and considering how much people kvetch for more unique characters, is there really an issue with having the scary antagonists actually be scary?
Were they worried we wouldn't roll on a spooky eldritch/angelic/demonic/seelic girl walking bare foot whenever she pleases? Or the Spy Mistress with an army of child soldiers?
You know what? Fuck it. At this point I'd put money on us getting innocent Shota Zandik if we even so much had a chance of Dottore as a playable character. Just completely whitewashed.
