Liyue.....hm.. you must be talking about Chi of Yore if it was that close to the village. Ended in a big tough fight, yes? (The) Chasm will be more interesting to you, but you're supposed to do it directly after Inazuma, and finish Chasm *before* going into Sumeru. The game even hints at this, outside of actual dialog, at having a winding path lead from one region to the next. Teleporters are there for convenience, but if one's available before you get there it will definitely make you skip over such an observation. I kinda hate that they started adding them to new content but it's also because they won't stop making FUCKING islands surrounded by 30000 miles of water. They made a goddamn dock in Natlan and added it after Natlan was done, but you can't use it to take a boat to Nod Krai. Why?
The Boar Princess is actually one of the more important books, I will say a lot of them are just there for fluff but some gained relevance way after they were first received..and turned out to be teasers of sorts, like that one, and Perinheri from Fontaine is directly related to the current late 2025 story.
> I'm not sure if I'll remember every little detail that npcs give because I think they talk too much
One of Genshin's biggest criticisms, that often comes up in conversations about a skip button, is that it feels like the writers (and localizers, specifically) are paid per word and so everything is massively bloated beyond what it needs to convey information. Paimon is always in the crosshairs because she's there to recap everything you just saw and exposition dump.

Stops being a relevant tag as soon as you leave Mondstadt. A stamina bar is far more ubiquitous than Zelda, and there's no weapon durability to speak of. I never understood the comparison, but perhaps it was a 2020 thing.
