It was bad; it effectively cucked 6 months' worth of story progression and was an objectively bad decision. You're also ignoring how changing the decision to not write him out would definitely shape Goddess Fall into another event entirely. Nobody thinks it would be just Goddess Fall + the main cast. It's safe to say it would alter it completely.

Good for you, but this didn't unfold like that, and it's an entirely idiotic thing to argue with since Pioneer is receiving upgrades, and Nayuta + Eden is going to work with SKK. There is no inheritance or next generation. Eden's walls were already open to SKK. Eden was already willing to work with SKK. Nothing has been inherited or picked up by the next generation. This argument would only make sense if most people died in the fight. Rapunzel saying, "brother will pick up our slack," is entirely irrelevant as far as inheriting legacies goes if she's also there.
