Is it just me, or is Merlin really lackluster for a Grand Servant, especially a Grand CASTER tier mage.
Seriously, compare him to the other top tier mages in the setting.
Solomon can summon 72 demon pillars each on par with a servant, and he can summon Grand Servants, and he has existence erasing beams, and he can see into the future, and he can travel to a pocket dimension he made outside of space and time.
Morgan can clone herself dozens of times and each clone has all of her power, and she can make divine weapons on par with Excalibur and Rhongomyniad, and she can rayshift without equipment, and she can send people, creatures, and things that she shoots back in time. She can also casually gift people the abilities and skills of Round Table knights. That's insane. A shitter like Baobhan Sith can be buffed to be on part with Tristan if they're buffed by Morgan.
Nursery Rhyme can create a time loop, and she can shapeshift into pretty much anything, and she can make creatures from people's dreams and nightmares real, and she has a literally invincible and invulnerable creature, the Jabberwick, which can fight top tier servants like Cu and Gawain. Oh, and she also has the Nameless Forest which is a forest that makes you forget everything about yourself, until there's nothing left, and when this happens, you no longer exist.
Even Semiramis seems stronger. With her Hanging Garden of Babylon, she gains the powers and authorities of a Ruler servant, she can nullify fame boosts, she can ignore mana resistance, she can nerf your stats, and she's confident that she can beat top tier servants like Karna with ease.
Meanwhile, Merlin just seems like a really good healer, who can sometimes astrally project himself into a singularity. Oh, and he can give women cocks I guess... He's kinda pathetic desu
