>Maybe its the hard drive?
No according to the tech guy at the computer store they're not concerned by my HDD's (I have two of them, one was from my prior PC that was installed into this one the day I got it), they think they'll least last another 3-4 years. They were convinced the problem was the cooling system (which I had never replaced in the 5 and a half years I've owned this PC or repaired).

>open the computer up and see which component the sound is coming from
I've looked (the PC has glass panels on both sides that let me see through it), the sound is always coming from EXACTLY where the cooling system is located

>clean dust out of the fans
>I got that sound once on my gpu fans, but never after cleaning it
Tried that (there wasn't much shockingly), didn't help. Triggered my dust allergies is all I achieved.

>limit your FPS to more reasonable values, the reason why it's getting hot as fuck in less busy areas is because there's less draw calls and therefore your gpu gets to stretch its legs and go as hard as it can compared to more busier areas like the city
I dunno, I've capped FPS at 60. What's weird is that the WHIRRRRING and overheating happens during cutscenes (not pre-rendered, those low-effort visual-novel style cutscenes where everyone is standing in a row staring at the viewer POV talking). No idea how. But yeah I've capped FPS to 60 (both ingame and on my PC ) so that shouldn't be the problem.

>update your windows + drivers
All of them are up to date last I checked (which was very recently)
>also be coil whine, which is unfixable
Is coil whine serious or is it something that can be ignored?
Anyway I just tested Wuthering Waves, logged in for 30 minutes, did my dailies, ran Fantasies of the Thousand Gateways (WuWa's version of Lost Void basically) twice. Not only did I not hear any WHIRRRRING noise go off, but my PC was SIGNIFICANTLY cooler (despite using slightly more CPU/Memory than when I was playing ZZZ earlier) In fact my PC was cool the entire time. Much cooler than before I replaced the cooling system with this new one. This seems to be a problem specific to ZZZ, whatever it is. But as I said before there was one other game, GFL2, where this same problem occurs. So I don't fucking know at this point. Maybe it IS coil whine?
