Mori is annoying but I never really cared about Little Mermaid to begin with aside from her connection with Leviathan so this event simply feels meh to me. Actually after reading the Hard ending I'm most annoyed knowing that Siren is going to go on a detour now instead of looking for Levi so that we can spend months and months on Namek waiting for her to come help. Right now I'm looking ahead to summer while still being butthurt that Jackal was the ONLY character in last summer event with no skin or alt. Siren and Mori bullshit is whatever, but SU WILL be getting bombs in the mail if no swimsuit Jackal this year.

We can make some assumptions based on siren as to what "not being on humanities side" means. She specifically says something like >if you plan on fighting together with them then you should give up which makes it sound like they have become pacifists and not heretics directly. Her behaviour also seems like it was more concerned about their well being rather than being on alert about them. Considering siren sat in gluttony for 70 years we can also assume that they talked before that. The day they got blown out of the space elevator seems to be right before overzone happens, so they probably got locked out of the ark aswell. We know that finding spare parts was an issue for Abe, it is most likely that they were locked out of the ark and abandoned, we can assume they weren't heretics yet when they talked to siren.
