>What's the guide to using bangoo? I feel like only a few are good and only for some team comps.
It really depends.
Bangboo CAs are pretty strong, but three-CA sequences are usually pretty bad, so most of time you're just looking at their regular attack.
How good that is also depends.
If the vast majority of your damage comes from a single DPS, and you need to hit some specific thresholds, buff Bangboos like Snap, Butler, Booressure, or Knightboo might help you reach them.
But their buffs tend to be very minor, so if the build doesn't accommodate them, they are likely to fall behind raw Bangboo damage (especially, if full CA rotations make sense for your team).
Anomaly Bangboos are generally pretty good for increasing the uptime of anomaly-specific buffs and conditions. Their direct damage is nothing to write home about, though.
Red Moccus deals a shitload of Daze with his regular attack - you can consider running him even if you can't activate his passive.
Sharkboo has a very frequent attack, so it's pretty good at activating Lucy's W-Engine effect (which is 4% in-combat ATK, that's quite a bit)
Brawlerboo shines in shorter fights (like Shiyu), because he'll attack immediately at the start of the fight, so on average he'll get one more attack per fight, compared to other Bangboos.
