I'm very much enjoying a cunning Threnodian. Leviathan has the potential to remain undefeated in story, even, even if we go to New Fed or where-ever in 3.0
Also, typically it is used a soy comment by many but what a certain someone said about Septimont's culture at the end of the current lorebit has truth to it. If Threnodians truly feed off negative emotions like they are unironically the Chaos Gods from 40k, then a culture like Septimont is a powder keg of WHEN, not IF, about to explode. It also gives more credit to Fenrico's speech and doctrine about not "loosing yourself in these fleeting pleasures". In some ways, even with a religious body worshiping a Demiurge instead of true God, Ragunnesi might still be more resistant to Leviathan's grasp considering the Pope is trying to play his own game (to unknown success), and more importantly their culture does not revolve around battletard murdering of each-other, gambling on said murder (and political/moral corruption stemming from that practice), and somewhat lax attitude towards cleaning up TDs the moment they spawn somewhere, because thrill-seekers with something to prove see them just as sport to hunt and not the existential threat that they are.
Surely such an admittedly battle-hardy, culture's practices would not backfire at some point, would they?
