That's really the biggest millstone on the game, and most of hoyos games for that matter. I really hope that rumor that hoyo is planning on developing a regular, non-GAAS game are true.

They certainly are more reactive which is nice. I'm certainly not complaining about the ditching of TV mode, but I am feeling mixed regarding the direction the overall plot seems to be moving. If they make the proxy an actual playable combatant I'll be deeply disappointed.

Certainly, Genshin had weird issues at the start (sending characters out on expeditions meant you couldn't use them, arbitrarily low resin cap, etc.) But I don't think they ever made as big a course correction as abandoning something that seemed as core to the initial design philosophy of the game as Zenless did by taking TV mode out back and putting two into TV modes skull.
again, not that I'm complaining. If the zzz team leans more into the persona social link aspect of the game I'd be pretty happy with that. C'mon Hoyo, give us the sex update already.
I will laugh and cry if ZZZ gets an oath system before GI.

Its interesting to see how the team adapts and mixes things up. To echo what I said previously I'd be interested if they start playing up the faux social angle of the game in addition to the combat. I was digging the world exploration they added with 2.0 jank aside.
