It's not just hitting the glowing part, it's timing your strongest burst to always be hitting the opponent when the boss gets knocked down after hitting the glowing part to get maximum core damage. If I find myself hitting cores when my burst is down or my weaker burst cycle is hitting the majority of them, that's a dead run...

If they wanted to say "this cat wants to have sex with you," then make the costume a whole lot less chaotic. If they wanted to say "this cat can't dress itself," then actually commit to chaos instead of half-assing it. They instead went for all three birds, and that resulted in a complete failure, in my opinion.
