Even reddit can be anonymous. Think about WHY and you'll realize having IDs is a step down from logging in and your internet persona is reset every thread. Unfortunately I can't stop myself from posting Tsuchinokot and since barely anyone else does it can become quite obvious it's me or whoever my online persona is. Because of IDs you can easily spot 4J, the fami-poster brimming with positivity and stalk every drawfag to find out what they're like in actuality. And vice versa. It's a moderator's tool suddenly in the hands of EVERYONE. Obviously it means not just mods can track you now, but regular posters too.
But here's the revelation: How you present yourself is entirely up to you. Even if 4J or Vincent don't use their trips, it's entirely apparent it's them from very particular posts. Halfchan simply allows you to hide and post as someone else immediately or obscures your post, but post timers are a way to find out if the person is the same, whereas fullchan forces you to either use 3rd party shit or suck it up and reveal yourself as the chaotic shitposter.
But if there are 50 chaotic shitposters, can you really tell who's who? And drawfags can use VPNs or wait with illustrations for the new thread if they want to act different or not show themselves.
Better yet, if you want fullchan /gfg/ to be less reddit-like, we should agree upon a smaller number of posts before a new thread is made.
That way everyone is more comfortable "spoofing" their identity and doesn't have to be forced to use 3rd party shit. After all, your reddit account sticks to you wherever you go, or at least from what I understand about it, if we had infinite sized threads, we'd be no different from reddit. But we aren't. And just like reddit, you can bypass blocks and moderation with 3rd party shit. Better yet, it became apparent that halfchan digs into your browser very aggressively and you're more likely to be found out there than here. You are in fact more anonymous here, than there, because the site simply doesn't dig into your shit as much. It now becomes clear that whoever shitposts only does it for the chaos and quick shits and giggles rather than being unknown, because they are still traceable by the moderation. And yet they could shitpost here too because it's still bypassable.
So what I'm saying is
every nigger who thinks this shit is reddit is a weaksauce retard who is either too lazy to use VPNs, an insecure bastard who is scared of responsibility and direct confrontation or a genuine, honest to god troll shitposter with nothing but liquid shit for brains and the need to post about Raymond for the 100th fucking time.
Another thing I could say is that at some point I had an idea about IDs being hidable client-side, it could help anons from developing even better pattern-recognition and keeping akin to over at halfchan, while still offering the benefits (and negatives) of IDs to everyone else. Everyone can also just start spamming Kuro, family and kots so the posters aren't apparent in the sea of everyone doing it, especially if they start using the same files and filenames.
Personally, I think you should stop being a pussy. Comfy is better, NGAfag wouldn't be a laughing stock, but is that really a loss? Can we really not laugh all the same at chinks again? I mean the receptionist thing is comedy, go ahead and repeat it 50 more times. Annoyed people will simply filter you, I will answer once and then ignore you. Are you afraid of not getting (You)s? Boo fucking hoo. Just post, it makes the thread go faster, you can make the shitpost again next thread and everyone will groan and block you again in the worst case. Because unlike reddit, you can only "block" an "account" once per thread. If seeing IDs makes you trigger-happy to filter everyone, either get therapy or fucking find a way to make the idea about not seeing IDs I mentioned earlier work. Or you know, you could have IDs that are randomized EVERYTIME someone posts.
Creativity is interesting when unbound. But let it have complete freedom and you'll realize the colour spectrum isn't that big, and often mixing paint too much results in a lot of brown. I mean, why not go to /b/ if you like chaos so much?
8chan is a better tool. It's new, it's different. It requires getting used to. It might require getting everyone to agree on something. But we, as users, have more power to do things our way. You can argue the lack of IDs or moderation over at halfchan gives the person more freedom. I'll argue the maximum pros you can reap over there, you can also achieve here, albeit with more work, but have a far easier time avoiding and remedying the cons. Or rather, it can't get as bad here as it can there, while it can get as good here as it is there. Simply adapt. Put in the work to make the place the way you see fit.
