Takao's sketches are actually not bad. It's the coloring for the final version of the art that looks bad. Which is ironic since apparently he was doing the background art and what not back in the old TM days. In particular, he's really bad at coloring the eyes, his girls all have that blank vacant look.

Shiki's first and second ascensions are pretty nice, only the third one goes full Takeuchislop. I really enjoy Miyu too, so I'll likely use the anni 1000SQ in that banner unless Tiamat+Crane are very good (and if NA survives that long)
