There's one called games nosh which was set up in the wake of gamergate to do unbiased reviews free from SJWery. Nichegamer is one that existed before gamergate and was always ethical and anti SJW. The escapist I think is OK too. They were one of the mainstream sites which acknowledged there was a problem and took quite a few steps to reduce it on their site. If you want really honest opinions then look for sites which mostly host user generated content. An excellent one I saw recently is https://gamesense.co/ It seems to be this type of model could take over from the current paid shilling that goes on. Theres also metacritic. If you just look at the user scores rather than the paid reviews. And youtube playthroughs tend to be quite honest.
For tech I've used: http://www.extremetech.com/ http://wccftech.com/ From there I just use more specialized ones, like Android Police and Android Authority for phones. For gaming: http://dualshockers.com http://nichegamer.com http://www.operationrainfall.com http://www.rpgsite.net To a lesser extent (due to content) there's http://techraptor.net but they often have good stuff. It's just not as often. Trying to get more into the habit of using http://escapistmagazine.com but it's harder due to their layout being shittier. Not completely adverse to using IGN either, though when I go it's for a purpose.

Some alternatives we cobbled up back at the beginning of the ride.
>>324963 That one's my fault. The post initially had www instead of http at the start of the links, something like www.dualshockers.com Since it wasn't a clickable link, edited that by request.
