Ukraine? My kraine
In all the Ukraine bullshit, I've just realized everyone's memory-holed the Canadian Truckers. What's going on with them currently? Last I heard Trudeau decided not to go full Martial Law because his jew masters were scared of a Bank Run, but since then did his traitorous cops finally finish towing the trucks out of Ottawa, and Trudeau took advantage of the distraction to arrest them all when no one was looking? Did the truckers cuck out, stop blockading supply lines because of shaming about doing that in the middle of "WW3" and go home? What's the situation? God knows the Canadian Lugenpresse isn't going to give me a straight answer, and I care more about bloodying the nose of the most globohomo'd country on the North American continent than a proxy war that'll probably go nowhere besides making Biden and NATO look weak when they (as if they didn't do enough to give that impression daily).

>>145058 Can we even say that? Russia's blitzing Ukraine and guys are dying sure, but with how limp-dicked CURRENT YEAR world-leaders are and the fact nobody wants open war, the most they'll do is sanctions (wag their finger at Putin) while Ukraine is probably split in two--then the rest of the world largely forgets as they adjust to a still-peaceful status quo. At least the truckers had the possibility of forcing people to care by denying food deliveries. >>145065 >Arrested, their trucks seized, and their bank accounts and families' accounts frozen, as well as anyone who donated to them and the stores that served them when they were downtown Yeah, that's about what I figured; the moment everyone looks away, they go tyrant and sweep the whole thing under the rug. Why the Chinese Internet Is Cheering Russia’s Invasion of Ukraine <As the world overwhelmingly condemns the assault on Ukraine, online opinion in China is mostly pro-Russia, pro-war and pro-Putin. >If President Vladimir V. Putin is looking for international support and approval for his invasion of Ukraine, he can turn to the Chinese internet. >Its users have called him “Putin the Great,” “the best legacy of the former Soviet Union” and “the greatest strategist of this century.” They have chastised Russians who protested against the war, saying they had been brainwashed by the United States. >Mr. Putin’s speech on Thursday, which essentially portrayed the conflict as one waged against the West, won loud cheers on Chinese social media. Many people said they were moved to tears. “If I were Russian, Putin would be my faith, my light,” wrote @jinyujiyiliangxiaokou, a user of the Twitter-like platform Weibo. >As the world overwhelmingly condemns Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the Chinese internet, for the most part, is pro-Russia, pro-war and pro-Putin. >Mr. Putin’s portrayal of Russia as a victim of the West’s political, ideological and military aggression has resonated deeply with many on social media. It dovetails with China’s narrative that the United States and its allies are afraid of China’s rise and the alternative world order it could create. For its part, the Chinese government, Russia’s most powerful partner, has been more circumspect. >Officials have declined to call Russia’s invasion an invasion, nor have they condemned it. But they have not endorsed it, either. >Under Xi Jinping, its top leader, China has taken a more confrontational stance on foreign policy in recent years. Its diplomats, the state media’s journalists and some of the government’s most influential advisers are far more hawkish than they used to be. >Together, they have helped to shape a generation of online warriors who view the world as a zero-sum game between China and the West, especially the United States. Its diplomats, the state media’s journalists and some of the government’s most influential advisers are far more hawkish than they used to be. >Together, they have helped to shape a generation of online warriors who view the world as a zero-sum game between China and the West, especially the United States. >Mostly young, nationalistic online users like these, known as “little pinks” in China, have taken their cue from the so-called “wolf warrior” diplomats who seem to relish verbal battle with journalists and their Western counterparts. >The day before Russia’s invasion, for instance, a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman said in a daily press briefing that the United States was the “culprit” behind the tensions over Ukraine. >When the U.S. drove five waves of NATO expansion eastward all the way to Russia’s doorstep and deployed advanced offensive strategic weapons in breach of its assurances to Russia, did it ever think about the consequences of pushing a big country to the wall?” asked the spokeswoman, Hua Chunying. >The next day, as Ms. Hua was peppered with questions about whether China considered Russia’s “special military operation” an invasion, she turned the briefing into a critique of the United States. “You may go ask the U.S.: they started the fire and fanned the flames,” >she said, How are they going to put out the fire now?” She bristled at the U.S. State Department’s comment that China should respect state sovereignty and territorial integrity, a longstanding tenet of Chinese foreign policy. >The U.S. is in no position to tell China off,” she said. Then she mentioned the three journalists who were killed in NATO’s bombing of the Chinese Embassy in Belgrade in 1999, a tragic incident that prompted widespread anti-U.S. protests in China. <NATO still owes the Chinese people a debt of blood,” she said. >That sentence became the top Weibo hashtag as Russia was bombing Ukraine. The hashtag, created by the state-run People’s Daily newspaper, has been viewed more than a billion times. >In posts below it, users called the United States a “warmonger” and a “paper tiger.” Other Weibo users were bemused. “If I only browsed Weibo,” wrote the user @____26156, “I would have believed that it was the United States that had invaded Ukraine.” >The strong pro-war sentiment online has shocked many Chinese. Some WeChat users on my timeline warned that they would block any Putin supporters. >Many people shared articles about China’s long, troubled history with its neighbor, including Russian annexation of Chinese territory and a border conflict with the Soviet Union in the late 1960s. https://archive.ph/Sjwxv Bolsonaro won't condemn Putin, says Brazil will remain neutral over invasion >Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro on Sunday declined to condemn Russian President Vladimir Putin's invasion of Ukraine, while departing from his government's official stance at the United Nations to say Brazil would remain neutral. >Bolsonaro, a far-right populist, recently snubbed U.S. entreaties not to visit Putin in Moscow ahead of the invasion, and angered Western allies by saying he was "in solidarity with Russia," without elaborating. >On Friday, Brazil voted for a draft U.N. Security Council resolution that would have denounced the Russian invasion of Ukraine, despite reluctance by Bolsonaro. Ata press conference, Bolsonaro said he spoke for two hours with Putin on Sunday. >Brazil will remain neutral in the conflict, he said, noting that Russia and Ukraine were "practically brother nations." "We will not take sides, we will continue being neutral, and help with whatever is possible," Bolsonaro said. "A big part of Ukraine's population speaks Russian." >Bolsonaro declined to elaborate on the Ukraine aspect of his call with Putin. Asked by a reporter whether he was willing to condemn Putin's actions, he said he would wait for a final report, or see how the situation is resolved, before giving his opinion. >He added that he was against any sanctions that could bring negative repercussions for Brazil, citing Russian fertilizers which are crucial for its giant agribusiness sector. Bolsonaro also said he did not think Putin's forces would carry out any mass bloodletting in Ukraine. >A chief of state like that of Russia does not want to undertake a massacre, anywhere," he said, adding that in two southern regions of Ukraine, some 90% of the population wanted to "approximate themselves to Russia." >In reference to Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky, Bolsonaro said Ukrainians have "placed the hope of their nation in the hands of a comedian." >I ask all Brazilians in contested territory to stay firm, follow instructions and report any incidents to us. I know about the difficulties, but we won't spare any efforts to solve them," Bolsona

Video game related question, does anyone know any games that allow to build a team of monsters that isn't megami tensei or pokemon? I've been inching for something like this and I'll even take mobile games at this point. I'm longing for a mon collect game that doesn't shamelessly rip off pokemon in one way or another.
>>145078 I'm not making any war predictions after years of blueballing and people being at the precipice and chickening out to preserve the current state of affairs. Maybe I'll be wrong and it'll actually happen, god knows I was wrong when I assumed Putin to be hot air and would never actually do something ballsy like this, but I know modern warfare's changed enough that anything more complicated than Iraq and other Sandbox proxy-wars are a rarity these days. >>145079 >Here's hoping they don't get fucked with. In leaked comments, EA says FIFA license is holding back soccer game design <Pub says FIFA is an "impediment" to getting "different types of gameplay" approved. >EA has been questioning the value of its nearly three-decade-long relationship with FIFA, the international soccer governing body whose name has become synonymous with an ultra-popular video game series. >Now, though, newly leaked statements attributed to EA CEO Andrew Wilson detail how "ironically, the FIFA license has actually been an impediment" to some of the ways EA wants to "grow the franchise." >Our players tell us they want more modes of play, different things beyond 11 vs. 11 and different types of gameplay," Wilson said in a November all-hands meeting, according to a Video Games Chronicle report. >I would tell you, it’s been a fight to get FIFA to acknowledge the types of things that we want to create because they say our license only covers certain categories... >FIFA is just the name on the box, but they’ve precluded our ability to be able to branch into the areas that players want." >Beyond gameplay, the FIFA license also limits EA's ability to include "more cultural and commercial brands" in the game, Wilson reportedly said. FIFA's existing relationship with Adidas bars the inclusion of any Nike-branded products or imagery in the game, for instance. >And Wilson reportedly said that even when FIFA does end up approving something, "because of the nature of the approval timetables and the various things around our FIFA licence, that’s actually been really hard, and we’re moving much slower than we want." >This wouldn't be the first time a coveted sports license had an impact on game design. In American football, the NFL asked Midway to tone down features like late hits and excessive celebrations in the over-the-top NFL Blitz series. >When EA brought back NFL Blitz in 2012, the league reportedly asked for the game's most excessive violence to be toned down to align with "their take on player health and safety." >EA's NFL license also stops other publishers from making any "simulation" games that bear the league's official support. Thus Take-Two says that titles in its coming revival of the NFL2K brand "will be non-simulation football game experiences," whatever that means. >The comments come during the most protracted public battle between EA and FIFA since FIFA International Soccer was released on the Sega Genesis back in 1993. >Last October, EA publicly confirmed that it was "reviewing our naming rights agreement with FIFA" and that it was considering renaming the series going forward. Shortly after that announcement, The New York Times reported that FIFA was asking EA to double the nearly $150 million it pays annually for those licensing rights. >FIFA responded to EA's move by issuing its own statement saying it was "adopt[ing] a new commercial positioning in gaming and eSports" and "engaging with various industry players, including developers, investors and analysts, to build out a long-term view of the gaming, eSports, and interactive entertainment sector." >Would "FIFA Ultimate Team" still bring in billions of dollars if it was just called "EA Sports Ultimate Team"? EA might be preparing to find out. >Enlarge / Would "FIFA Ultimate Team" still bring in billions of dollars if it was just called "EA Sports Ultimate Team"? EA might be preparing to find out. >FIFA's reported licensing ask of over $1 billion for every four-year World Cup cycle is significant, even for a series that recently brought in $1.62 billion just from annual "Ultimate Team" microtransaction sales. >And FIFA's push for more money apparently has EA wondering whether it's getting sufficient value from that licensing relationship, which is one of over 300 it has with individual soccer teams, leagues, and other partners for the game. >Basically, what we get from FIFA in a non-World Cup year is the four letters on the front of the box, in a world where most people don’t even see the box anymore because they buy the game digitally," Wilson reportedly said. During World Cup years, the added authenticity of having a digital version of the international tournament "is important, but it’s not the most important [thing]," Wilson continued. >Wilson also said he had discussed his complaints with FIFA President Gianni Infantino directly, wrapping the financial and game design issues together. >I said, ‘Listen, the money’s a thing: We don’t want to pay more money than this license is worth,'" he reportedly said. "But it’s not about that, it’s really about our ability to deliver games and experiences that our fans want in a timely fashion.'" >Last October, EA filed for European and British trademarks for "EA Sports FC," suggesting a potential rebranding if the FIFA licensing discussions fall through. https://archive.ph/Z8NAK video game addiction, now a globally recognized illness, seeks a treatment >Kim Academic devoted her career to video games, until one hit her in the face. The incident happened several years ago when Kim, a former studio operating chief at Electronic Arts Inc., was trying to peel away her then 10-year-old son from a game of Minecraft. He threw the iPad at her in frustration. >Kim, 48, said the experience inspired her to start a business in 2019 advising parents on forming healthy relationships between their kids and their screens. The work took on greater urgency this year when the World Health Organization began formally recognizing video game addiction as an illness for the first time. >Among gamers and parents and even within the medical community, there’s disagreement about whether gaming addiction is real. >Either way, the WHO’s designation could provide a boon to Kim and other businesses like hers. Dozens of consultants operate in the U.S. alone, as well as an assortment of apps, camps, self-help books and treatment centers. >A diagnosis of addiction is based on a series of symptoms, according to the WHO. They include a lack of control over the impulse to play video games, a tendency to prioritize it at the expense of other interests or obligations and continued or escalated involvement despite experiencing negative consequences. >Studies offer varying conclusions, in part due to disagreements over how to define addiction, but they typically show the illness in 2% to 3% of people who play games. >A similar condition called gaming disorder is more prevalent in the population than compulsive gambling but less than compulsive shopping, estimated Matthew Stevens of the University of Adelaide in Australia. >Achieving recognition was a years-long process. WHO member states voted in 2018 to add it to the organization’s disease classification list, which helps standardize health reporting and tracking worldwide. >The change didn’t go into effect until last month, a lag designed to give the health care industry time to prepare. Yet, the debate rages on among behavioral scientists. >At the American Psychological Association, some members are lobbying the group to follow the WHO and acknowledge gaming addiction. The effort is facing resistance. >The last time the association classified a new addiction was in 2013, when it added gambling, said Paul Appelbaum, chair of the APA committee in charge of making such designations. Changes come slowly and “really need to be backed up by data if they’re going to be widely accepted,” he said. >A broad recognition of the disorder would have legal ramifications. “It would make it more difficult for courts to exclude experts who testify on video gaming addiction,” said Matt Bergman, an Oregon lawyer who has filed lawsuits against social media companies on behalf of teenagers. https://archive.ph/sT62b

The conclusion, in case you cannot watch 5 minutes of video: >created foxes that looked and behaved like dogs >experiment suggested that the transformation of the wild wolf into the dog could have happened in the blink of an evolutionary eye The video claims differences in just 10 years for the foxes, but I don't know the details. >>145121 Yeah, evolutionary pressure when take to its extremes, i.e. the extermination or in this case the exclusion from the reproduction pool of all individuals without the desired trait can lead to extraordinary changes in very short time. [blogpost since there's no decent anime board here] Watched a Studio Ghibli movie that I hadn't seen (Whisper of the Heart) and it was kind of weird hearing Country Roads in a Ghibli movie. It might have made sense in a country setting, but in a dense metropolitan setting it did not. Later you see that the protagonist is writing a Japanese version of that song, but even then it's not really central to the story other than showing that she writes things so therefore pursues becoming a writer. Before that, I re-watched Kiki's Delivery Service. I liked the setting a lot better as it is a bit less grounded in reality, but more creative. Only complaint about Kiki's Delivery Service is that the world and characters are so fun that you get to the end wanting more and instead get a montage. Speaking of magical girls I watched all of Hime-chan's Ribbon. The ending was kind of a let down since there's no real conclusion to the romance plot line. I didn't really understand why they even did the time travel episode with the "future is what you make it" message until I finished the last episode, then I could see that all you're getting is a "possibility" of a future together with Daichi in that flash-forward episode. Hibino remained one of the biggest piece-of-shit antagonist I've seen throughout the series with multiple chances to redeem herself then going straight back to being a selfish cunt who ruins everything up to the last goddamn episode. Like holy shit, she once screwed Himeko over so badly that Himeko literally had to fucking die to get out of the mess Hibino created. That is some high level antagonism. The 6 recap episodes were rather tedious to skim through. Overall the pattern was generally the same with Himeko using her powers impulsively, fucking things up, having to unfuck things, while occasionally her powers were used for actual emergencies. Some charming characters though. Himeko Nonohara is cute and energetic as fuck, but I'm not super into tomboys so Manami Mori is best girl IMO. A shame Himeko's friends didn't get a bit more screen time. I also like (Cardcaptor) Sakura Kinemoto more than Himeko Nonohara as a magical girl since Sakura actually used her powers for a good reason most of the time instead of impulsively like Himeko does. Himeko's copy powers lend themselves more to destroying people's lives intentionally or unintentionally so it's kind of hard to have that character be as likeable as Sakura. Another reminder to watch Kamichu as I've said in a previous thread. Yurie Hitotsubashi is adorable and is also a Shinto god. The only selfish thing I remember her using her powers for was changing the TV channel since there was no remote control and she didn't want to leave the warmth of the kotatsu, but that episode was still really cute with her being sleepy and lazy all day. Yurie gets weak / tired after using her power (like Megumin from Konosuba) plus her shrine maiden friend Matsuri often overworks Yurie, so her lazy day episode is deserved. I wish Kamichu had more episodes, but at least they didn't do a bunch of lame recaps.
>>145127 > it was kind of weird hearing Country Roads in a Ghibli movie. It might have made sense in a country setting, but in a dense metropolitan setting it did not That's why she changed the lyrics to "concrete roads."
>>145127 >[blogpost since there's no decent anime board here] https://prolikewoah.com/animu/catalog.html
>>145128 Yeah, but then that guy teases her about "concrete roads" and she crumples it up so they don't even use it. So it was "almost" made suitable to the setting if that's what you're getting at.

You know, it's funny how in the beginning of the month we had Xi Pooh Ping standing by Jewtin in their newly formed alliance stating that Russia would aid Chyna with invading Taiwan so long as Chyna supported Russia in dealing with Ukraine. Yet going by current reports Chyna seems to be getting cold feet for the time being. I can't help but wonder if Jewtin ratcheted things up just to prod at the chinks to see how loyal Winnie the Flu really was to that commitment. If Jewtin isn't bluffing and really does have something crazy up his sleeve to make (((NATO))) fuck off then the smart thing to do would be to escalate some more to really put the pressure on Xi Pooh Ping before snuffing out the (((NATO))) goblins. If Chyna doesn't step up to the plate then Jewtin knows he can't depend on the CCP for any kind of alliance. We could have told you that. Should have listened to Penny Gadget. >>145082 dragon dragon
>>145157 >Yet going by current reports Chyna seems to be getting cold feet for the time being. It’s not China. It’s Xi Jinping. CCP all in supporting Russia. Chinese civilian population themselves supportive of invading Ukraine. It’s no secret Putin is more popular in China than Xi Jinping. In fact, for years the CCP wanted to form something like CSAT from Arma 3 and the red star alliance from frontline fuel of war. Xi Jinping People stopped plans for the CCP to have closer ties with Russia. If you keeping up with CCP news. CCP rebelling against Xi Jinping.
>>145158 >CCP rebelling against Xi Jinping. Who does the chink bugman hivemind default to in that scenario, then? I presume CCP since they handle the finer details like Social Credit Score in order to force the populace to work for them.

>>145121 The groups we were talking about were never as controlled as the fox groups, so once again I do not believe you could cause similar effects. This still doesn't adress my argument of the fact that there are examples disproving the idea that those changes are so big as, as I said, there were jews which integrated with society normally. All of this is complicated and the problem is that we will never have an actually unbiased examination of the problem as the topic is too deeply ingrained with people and their biases so we can merely throw anegdotes and beliefs at each other.
>>145076 >As the world overwhelmingly condemns the assault on Ukraine Completely fake news. Nobody is dumb to side with jews against the supply providers. All the "neutral" governments are the silent majority. They will say that they are neutral, while secretly working with Russia and cheering for Putin, which is a good thing. Censorship has no power over actions. If they can't publicly express support for Russia, they will simply support it from behind the scenes.

Silly question, but is there a board for tech questions or video editing? My old computer is starting to fail and I'm thinking about purchasing a new one, but I want to see if there are good video editors or photoshop clones in linux. Also if I can play games in Linux properly.
>>145208 Kdenlive is usually the go-to for loonix video editing I think.
>>145210 I've heard good things about DaVinci.
>>145211 davinci is a very powerful tool, and resource hog. You can use it for simple video editing but its main strength is compositing. If you don't know what that is you wouldn't need it. Download and see for yourself
>>145208 >video editors Besides Kdenlive there's also Openshot which is pretty simple. >photoshop clones There's GIMP and I think a few others. Unless you're a l33t artist I imagine GIMP would suffice. >Also if I can play games in Linux properly. Yes, you can. Surprised you haven't read anything about this yet if you frequent the board. It'd be fun to have some way to know how many anons have actually ditched winblows for Linux. I'd say acid might be able to come up with some stats but between torfags and people that use anti fingerprinting measures that might not be reliable at all.

>>145231 I thought the cloth hanging over her tits was a giant tongue.
>>145232 >WINE stands for "WINE is not an emulator", though, doesn't it? That's what it used to stand for, now it's just called Wine (not all-caps). It really depends on what your definition of "emulator" is. Wine is not emulating an entire machine like DOSBox does, it is not even emulating an OS, but it is emulating the Win32 API, translating Win32 API calls to whatever POSIX equivalent on the fly. It's an emulator in the same way the Goldberg Steam emulator emulates the Steamworks API. This is what lets you run Windows applications without having to recompile them against another API or library ahead of time.

Your next line is "America is a democracy!" like some talmudvision rube. >Did I say ‘republic?’ By God, yes, I said ‘republic!’ Long live the glorious republic of the United States of America. Damn democracy. It is a fraudulent term used–often by ignorant persons, but no less often by intellectual fakers–to describe an infamous mixture of socialism, miscegenation, graft, confiscation of property, and denial of personal rights to individuals whose virtuous principles make them offensive. ~ Westbrook Pegler, Democracy in the U.S. Branded Meaningless, New York Journal American, January 25, 1951 >When they speak of democracy, they don’t mean government by the people. They mean financial democracy, in which money counts and nothing but money. – Sir Oswald Ernald Mosley >Whenever I hear the word ‘democracy,’ I know a bloodbath is coming. ~ Prince Klemens Wenzel von Metternich >I have long been convinced that institutions purely democratic must, sooner or later, destroy liberty, or civilization, or both. ~ Lord Thomas Macaulay >Democracy has nothing to do with freedom. Democracy is a soft variant of communism, and rarely in the history of ideas has it been taken for anything else. ~ Hans-Hermann Hoppe >Nothing frightens the jews more than a perfect unity in others: the unity of feeling in a movement, in a people. That is why they will always be for ‘democracy,’ which has but one advantage, and that one for the nation’s enemy. For democracy will break up the unity and spirit of a people. ~ Corneliu Zelea Codreanu >Why are we allowing ourselves to become a mobocracy instead of a democracy? When you allow unlawful acts to go unpunished, you’re moving toward a government of men rather than a government of law; you’re moving toward anarchy. And that’s exactly what we’re doing. We allow dirty loudmouths to publicly call policemen pigs; we let a fella like William Kunstler make a speech to the Black Panthers saying that the ghetto is theirs, and that if police come into it, they have a right to shoot them. Why is that dirty, no-good son of a bitch allowed to practice law? ~ John Wayne

And that's just their projection as of now. They'll revise it into negatives by the time the official numbers are released (and even then it will be a lie). Real YoY inflation is over 15% right now, and it's only increasing. And surprise! The sanctions against Russia have only exposed risk to Western (as in, the cold war "west") financial systems and accelerated the rest of the world breaking away from the dollar. >>145428 Anyone who tells you a time and date is lying to you. Anyone who even tells you a "set of conditions" that gives a name (such as a specific bank, or a specific category of stocks, or a specific set of bonds, etc.) is lying to you. That's very important, and I want it understood. I'm not making any predictions here myself. No one knows when. Literally no one knows. Simple mathematical reality tells us what conditions are required to cause a collapse, because you can't cheat raw math. Here's the scary thing, though: math has nothing to do with the economy anymore. Neither do PEOPLE. I'm gonna rip a section of my book now to help explain. Please give it a speed read or whatever. I find this stuff important. ~:~ The structure of our current economic system is such that computer feedback loops control the entire stock market. The companies in this market have moved to a method of product sales which prioritizes the ‘narrative’ of a product over its content or quality. Because of these two interdependent functions, we now have a system of both stocks and physical sales which do nothing but sell “narratives” about “narratives.” Mathematical algorithms have been written and put in charge of defining our nations’ cultures. Why? Because the cultural marxists’ deconstruction of Western values necessitates replacement of those values with the perversions of consumerism and materialism–the derivation of psychological pleasure from buying “things” purely for the sake of “having more things.” Thus, we now have a culture of “brand fanatics,” who–instead of vociferously and physically defending their race, their nation, and their family–defend and support corporate brands to the exclusion of all else. That was a bit complex. I'll explain again. In the early 1970s, a group of computer enthusiasts made machines that would take in a bunch of economic data, process it, and use it to predict the future. To fund this research, they predominantly sold the information to anyone who sought to invest in the stock market. Enough people started requesting this information that the creators rewrote their programs to automatically send out stock reports themselves. Other machines began to aggregate data to be sold and reported. This eventually created a massive feedback loop of stock data being managed only by autonomic intelligence. Autonomic intelligence is not “artificial intelligence.” These programs do not “think,” “reason,” or “innovate,” and they’re certainly not “conscious.” Autonomic programs only sort, file, and error-check incoming data. The name is derived from the autonomic nervous system in the human body, which regulates such things as heart rate, digestion, breathing, and other subconscious activities “in the background” of all else. These autonomic stock systems have outright blocked humans from defining or changing market trends. Right now, the open secret about the stock market is that it is out of human control. If anyone tried to alter these autonomic data loops, even the loss of one “link” in the chain would collapse the global economy overnight. Roughly in tandem with this technology, the Internet came into being. Many marketing firms began to change their tactics to “content marketing.” No longer were they interested in making marketing to sell a product; their conception is that the marketing and the product are to be part of a larger whole. “Content marketing” deigns to sell you an entire experience, where the marketing is the “story” of the product. To facilitate the selling of these product lifestyles, marketing companies have made massive investments into media companies and spreading the reach of their advertising in subtle ways, such as product placement in film and TV. To ensure that their media spending is effective in marketing their products, all large companies collect consumer data on spending, and even the occasional customer survey. From this data, they tweak their narratives to more effectively psychologically manipulate people into buying their products. They use their own algorithms to sort through these factors, and the algorithms sometimes suggest improvements and changes on their own. Now we have a new problem. All of this consumer data, collected by the various and disparate marketing corporations, is also collected by the autonomic intelligences which guide the stock market. These algorithms, by the way, have grown in power exponentially since their creation. Just one of them, for example, controls 7% of the entirety of the world economy. Using this data, those algorithms began to report on which types of narratives sell, and which don’t. This sounds fairly straightforward–if also sadistic and manipulative–but there’s a catch. WHOOPS CHARACTER LIMIT
>>145432 We now live in a post-hypernormalization world. This is a Soviet propaganda term. Coined by Dr. Alexei Yurchak, formerly of the USSR, the term describes a society which either has collapsed or is in the process of collapsing, but whose inhabitants are too frightened to accept the reality of this collapse. They cannot imagine a society other than that in which they are living, and so they simply ignore reality and pretend that the society hasn’t collapsed. Hypernormalization is what happens when the falsified success of society becomes accepted as real by everyone therein. An alcoholic might tell himself that he doesn’t have a problem, all the while slipping further into his vice. Hypernormalization is an entire society living in a fantasy of societal success because they’re too scared to admit it failed. A recent documentary explains this concept in fascinating detail as it applies to the Western world. In summary, the feedback loop of marketing propaganda and algorithmic economics has removed the human element from our culture, customs, and economic success. This was done purposefully, after the destruction of traditional social values necessitated something fill the psychological loss of purpose and meaning in the lives of Westerners The Internet has made this situation worse by an order of magnitude. As previously discussed, advertising companies–and content providers themselves–are now using their algorithms to cordon groups of people off from one another. Google, Facebook, et. al. have created a culture where you only see comments from other users who share your beliefs, content from companies which are in line with your feelings, and advertisements which are expressly tailored to your wishes. The Internet you experience is unique to you. You see the advertisements you’re most likely to click–because that means profit when you buy their stuff. You see the content you’re most likely to click–because that means profit when you internalize their message. You see the comments you’re most likely to agree with–because that means profit when you’re tricked by the fallacies of appeal to majority and appeal to popularity. “Everyone I see agrees with my assessment that [product] is good! I will go buy [product] now!” This is mass psychological dissonance, and it was created by algorithms. Consciously or otherwise, your life’s content is now formed around media narratives. There are only six companies who own all media. And we know ✡who✡ owns those companies. This singular ownership, combined with the algorithmic, artificial development of our cultural narrative context, means that there is no sense of morality inherent in the system. An algorithm has no emotions, no soul, and no inhibitions. It can, therefore, be directed to do anything, and it will comply. There is nothing to stop those who tweak the data from using it to get people to literally kill one another. It won’t be overt, obviously. You won’t see ads which say, “Go kill people who disagree with you.” That’s utter nonsense–the appeal to extremes fallacy. Instead, you would be subconsciously made to believe that physical violence is an acceptable reaction to minor, inconsequential disputes in your life, such as “My coworker doesn’t own the same brand of phone as me.” People now have their lives contextualized by inhuman machinations. As bleak as that sounds, things have become even more destructive. This is far more wide-reaching than a group of consumers being swindled by a company or simply being lied to about the efficacy of “snake oil” in curing an illness. ~:~ Citation for redtext, because it's fucking horrifying and unbelievable otherwise: https://archive.li/yxDXZ Documentary on hypernormalization as a concept, which is actually relevant to video game culture, et. al.: https://www.bitchute.com/video/aEK7IniOmylN/ Oh! It's one of the reasons it never really went beyond people going around being as level-headed as they could and presenting as much evidence as possible, it was the basic act and it's intention was "if they are able to do this with something as small and insignificant as video games there is nothing that will ever be safe and the only hope is for us all to accept that and put aside our differences to combat this force or else we will have nothing" But everyone just outright denied reality or shrugged their shoulders and gave the bullshit answer of "thats just the way it is" As far as I'm concerned their isn't much point to anything anymore because the vast majority of things and people I liked or loved in this world have either outed themselves as being pieces of shit or were just destroyed so its kind of non-issue to me as I've always known deep-down that this was the set path because most people are fearful and insecure and are more then willing to deliberately manipulate and abuse anyone or anything to satisfy their own selfishness and egos to keep that fear and insecurity at bay. I will say I'm still happy everything happened because it proved to me what I had already known, which is that the vast majority of imageboard users are (i guess at this point in time "were" as most major imageboards are nothing more then a sub-site for people to post the things that are to naughty for other sites) more sincere and intelligent and care more about their fellow man. I miss the old days, and the old world, and I'll never abandon my beliefs of freedom in the absolute on all fronts; But at this point there is nothing but dark days ahead of us. Where once there was love, there is now only hate. Where once there was happiness, now is only sorrow. Where once there was hope, now is only despair. All I have anymore are the memories, and brief moments or glee they provide are quickly mired by the pain knowing it is gone and will not be coming back for a very long time

>>145681 The IMF's system can't survive much longer. Quadrupling the M1 currency supply didn't work after 2008, and doubling it once again didn't work after chinkflu. The Fed is currently projecting 0.0% GDP increase for Q1 this year, and that will still be revised downward by the time the (((official))) numbers are released. We're HARD into "stagflation" right now with the genuine threat of (the legal definition of) hyperinflation coming soon. They can't justify further martial law due to a fake virus, so they have to change the narrative to "oy vey evil rush-unz (and chinks, when they take Taiwan) destroyed our economy! It's their fault, not ours!" War is nothing but a distraction. They don't "want" war. They just want to remain in power, and they don't care how many goyim die to achieve that. Buy food that lasts, anon. Freeze dry things if you can. Get at least a year for yourself and everyone else in your household. Get other household supplies, too. As prices continue to rise, keep buying and using as you would normally until you simply CANNOT afford anything anymore. The next step for the system is government price controls to "ward off" inflation (official justification). At that point, there will be shortages of everything like you wouldn't believe. The "shortages" during chinkflu won't even look like a blip in comparison. But you'll have food and goods for you and yours. Then just hunker down and watch as they panic increasingly harder, until eventually you receive a tax return equal to the total sum of all taxes you've paid your entire life. That's when the shooting will start, because EVERYONE will get one of those, prices will double every hour, and society will collapse. Don't say I didn't warn you.

>>145681 >The West must really want WWIII to happen They're looking down the barrel of civil war if it doesn't. You're starting to see popular uprisings in France, America, Canada, and other western nations. People are fed up, and they're not buying the bullshit placation and are increasingly hard to demonize as more and more people splinter away from the narrative. The Left was already planning to secede the west coast into a new nation of Cascadia had Trump won the last election (by a large enough margin that they couldn't bury it under 3am ballot dumps). Canada's been outed as a totalitarian state, after the truckers pulled down Justin Castreau pants in front of the whole world. Not to mention the yellow-vest frogs and Brexit being a black eye to the EU. More and more people are aware of the WEF's plans and the EGS. They can't use Covid anymore, since there are mid-terms coming up in America, and people are no longer scared of it. They can't just crack down and go full totalitarian police state either. They need an existential enemy to threaten the people with overwhelming threat, to bring them together - ala Regan's alien invasion scenario. Or at the very least a 9/11 times 1000 scenario to brow-beat opposition into complicity. So here we are. They get to keep their divisive policies and ratchet up surveillance state while browbeating dissidents into compliance and provide justification to go after dissidents and "domestic terrorists" who endorse non-state approved opinions on the Metaverse. The risk of Nuclear Armageddon fits their needs nicely.
>>145660 From the looks of it they did almost all their testing on Nvidia Geforce 1060 and 1070. So the newer the card is the more issues it looks like it's having. This is also compounded by the dumbassness of normalfags and them not updating their graphic drivers. Worst issue I had myself was some flickering with the day time changing and that was fixed by updating my graphic driver. >>145534 >>145765 Actually Russians already have had their own financial transfer system (SPFS) since 2014, but the biggest problem is that it is only being used domestically (aka between Russian banks), and since the sanctions from USA and Europe will forbid their own banks from dealing with certain Russian banks (I don't know which ones, only that those who deal with the transactions of oil and other Russian fuels are exempt) it will be difficult to convince them to join SPFS. This is why various analysts foresee Russia adopting China's payment system (CIPS) to circumvent the sanctions and allow the affected banks and companies to trade with the countries that sanctioned them. Under this way, China would act as a middle man between Russia and Occident, with Renminbi as the main currency used, further strengthening China's already large economic influence. However, some of these analysts also predict an escalation of USA-China's trade wars if this happened, with USA attempting to sanction banks in order to make them abandon China's CIPS and thwart the network's reach. Another thing that needs to be considered is that while CIPS manages a truckload of money and has hundreds of banks operating the system, it still is nothing compared to SWIFT in both reach and volume of transactions, so even with a Russia-China( and maybe India, they also have their own "SWIFT alternative" and are one of China's largest trading partners) alliance, it still would be difficult to become independent of USA's financial systems.
