OPERATION MAX REVIVE Rebuild the board's userbase and activity through simple, but effective methods 1. Post across the entire board Activity creates activity. Use threads you like, make new ones if topics don't exist. Easy examples are Drawthreads and Friday Night threads, go request or draw something right now. 2. Recruit and recover lost or potential anons Use this site's OC and features to entice anons if necessary when recruiting, just inform that we are alive. Here's some sites and links with at least some confirmed anons that can be recruited again: https://steamcommunity.com/groups/8chotwheels https://steamcommunity.com/groups/SSAVCH
[Expand Post]https://steamcommunity.com/groups/video_games https://steamcommunity.com/groups/8chmohun https://steamcommunity.com/groups/8chan_monster https://steamcommunity.com/groups/GoodLuckEbolaChan https://steamcommunity.com/search/groups/#text=8ch.net https://steamcommunity.com/search/groups/#text=8chan Other sites that might yield fruitful results and have anons (art sites use an account so you can see 18+ content): https://www.deviantart.com/search?q=Vivian+James https://www.newgrounds.com/search/summary?suitabilities=etm&terms=Vivian%20James https://twitter.com/search?q=Vivian%20James&src=typed_query&f=image https://rpgcodex.net/ https://old.reddit.com/r/KotakuInAction/ Somewhere on Telegram Just searching up GG or 8chan-related terms on certain places/sites can get you possible results. 3. Make your own OC/Memes/Content Doesn't matter what it is even if its just simple edits or full-on drawings or webms, just make it and have fun. Ask in thread for software recs if necessary. 4. Encourage or create fun events, activities, projects, etc. Think things like 8chanmania, weekly streams, re-translation projects, demo days, or zzz's gaming magazine for example. If you want to do something, try making or reviving it, it can't hurt and these things are great for the board. 5. Use other boards All it takes for a board to grow is at least 2 dedicated anons using it. Don't be afraid to make a post, check places periodically, shill, or what have you. Don't force discussions to boards, just encourage the usage of them. 2. There's something I recently heard about the ceremony. The guy behind it, Thomas Jolly, wanted to make "the opposite of the Puy du Fou". The Puy du Fou is a huge French theme park created by a far-right politician named Philippe de Villiers, centered around History, from the Roman Era, the Middle Ages, the Renaissance, WW1, you name it, and they put a lot of respect on History. No tranny or woke shit whatsoever. I guess he wanted to make the usual woke shit that only Paris is capable of doing in the whole country. Except that the Puy du Fou had several International awards, like the Hall of Fame Award in the 2017 International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions Expo at Orlando in Florida. The theme park is known worldwide and has now projects in Spain or China. And these people in Paris try to be "anti Puy du Fou" and just get a mixed reception, with a whole debate about it being too woke. I know that comparing a once ina lifetime event to a theme park with continuous shows is stretching it a little bit, but I have to remind this thread that people would still prefer seeing knights duking it out over men in drag, but Paris just doesn't understand it.

>>382064 No mention of any religion in his early life section. Possibly atheist as most French people are, but the schnoz on him shows that's a probability that he's jewish. By comparison, Phillipe de Villiers is as Catholic as it gets, and is usually seen defending the Christian faith and opposing the islamisation of the country, though he also has a decently sized schnoz.

>>382054 >Watch the full Gojira >Get to 2:27 Reminder that much of this modern shit we're dealing with did NOT start with Marx. It started in 1789 with the French Revolution, with everything that came from that being influenced by Jean-Jacques Rousseau (He ALSO invented the line "Let them eat cake", Marie never said this). And they won't bat an eye over the deaths of millions that will come from them trying again and again with the Gnostic awakening.
>>382054 What the fuck. >>382058 What the actual fuck.
(67.54 KB 720x946 GPyjCJ8a8AEqGv2.jfif)

>>382083 It started from the enlightenment and all these events we talk about such as the French revolution, Marx and etc are the direct results. Note the enlightenment did need to happen as the Church's bullshit was out of hand, but I'd argue what replaced it was worse.
>>382085 From what I understand, many of these Gnostics considered the Enlightenment to be a grand mistake and catastrophe in regards to bringing about their Great Awakening due the results being Classic Liberal values like Individuality being entirely opposed to their religious endeavors.
I re-watched the whole blasphemous opening performance for the Paris Olympics just for curiosity (I'm about to lose my sanity) and I noticed a lot of anti-Christian symbolism in it. France, being one of the Christian powerhouse nations of yore before the Muslim invasion through ECHR's "charity" for these "immigrants", have fell upon grace. May God help France, because they'll need it. Jeanne D'Arc wasn't burned to the stake by the English only to see the country she fought for to fall like this. It's quite saddening when you think about it.
This far the ONLY "good" thing I heard about the Olympic Opening was Celine Dian. >>382087 >and I noticed a lot of anti-Christian symbolism in it. What else aside from what's in the OP? Also, isn't this suppose to be Macaroon's "Great Olympic Truce"?
>>382087 It might have made me sad once upon a time. Now it just makes me angry, as I'm well aware subversive jews doing this would never have gotten this far if it weren't for naive-to-point-of-liability idiots refusing to see things for what they are and selfish traitors who happily go along with this because they don't want to take responsibility for themselves/because compliance gives them material rewards like money or social influence. Covid alone turned me into a misanthrope and this is just more fuel on the fire.
This is my favorite french picture. It encapsulates everything wrong with their race and existence as a society.
>>382086 Aren't they just banker actors? It's kind of pointless to call the gnostics when they're just propping up the system anyways, it's just another flavor of xxx. Different flavors of the same people. Marx is the son of a well off Jewish rabbi, people will constantly hint that popular philosophers are from 'wealthy families', it's all a grift.
>>382088 There's this mechanical horse, which was straight out of the book of Revelations, that talks about a pale horse striding on Earth's land, bringing death and doom upon its wake.

No, see second vid. >It's kind of pointless to call the gnostics when they're just propping up the system anyways No, they're completely against the way the world currently exists and works. Biggest example is how part of their grand master plan for companies is to replace shareholders with "stakeholders", because desiring that a company make money is "unsustainable". Even Marx's own mother joked that she wished he would stop writing about capital and actually go make some. These people are not bankers, they have no concept on how money and wealthy is acquired. What they believe is that they're the smartest individuals on the planet, who should have all the wealth and power because they're so smart, and the fact that this isn't true (According to them) "shows" that the world and systems are "broken".
>>382098 They're the exact same people and I'm not gullible enough to pretend otherwise.

>>382085 >the Church's bullshit was out of hand, but I'd argue what replaced it was worse That is the end result that idiots always fail to understand, until it happens and affects them. If you are living under a controlled and organized society, but your life is not good, FUCK YOU. Your life is not important. Keeping society organized is important. But retards who don't have the skills or connections to prosper in a organized society will whine and try to replace the organizing force in it, only to realize too late that the replacement makes everything worse. Remember that the next time you complain about the Church controlling everyone. It HAS to be that way. Otherwise, this current modern happens. But an artist, video game designer or otherwise, should never completely bend to every whim of his audience/customers. If people don't like what he makes, they can leave. Not Baguette-Anon, but I did see this: https://archive.md/RS3Pc <Nearly two hours into the endlessly entertaining 2024 Paris Olympics Opening Ceremony, I’m thinking its artistic director might be the most brilliant French mind since the mad scientists who dreamed up the Minions. It would have been enough to stage an opening procession on the Seine, E. coli be damned, in a flag-bearing cavalcade unlike any before it. But on top of it all, he gave this thing plot, direction, comedy, drama, circus, theatrics, fashion, and musical extravaganza in a celebration of all things French, right down to the most croissants-and-baguettes cliché. Literally. During the “La Vie en Rose” section, one of the huge pink cartes postales dotting the river literally said “Baguette! Croissant! Cliché!” It was an Emily in Paris fever dream. <Until it turned into an Emily in Paris bourgeois nightmare! <Jolly expressed his intent before the ceremony to “play with” but also “challenge” French cliché, and in the most vibrant, exciting celebration of French identity in the ceremony so far, they did a full musical, metal–opera–Cameron Mackintosh mash-up tribute to … the guillotine! In the “Liberté” portion of the ceremony, sandwiched between a tribute to the craftsmanship of Louis Vuitton and a pretaped perfume commercial-adjacent segment celebrating the horny highbrow smut of French literature, a row of beheaded Marie Antoinette types swathed in red with decapitated faces painted clown-white sang the French revolutionary song “Ça ira” alongside the heavy-metal band Gojira. All of this happened directly after a brief, artistically shot rendition of “Do You Hear the People Sing?,” from Les Miserables. To add to this proudly irreverent celebration of the revolution, a big boat-float rolled in carrying a soprano singing Carmen. So, yeah, the entire POINT of the opening was to take a great big shit on French culture. >>382272 >I thought becoming manger would help me stop more of this and it has to an extent. But really it's a smokescreen to cover the fact DEI is being replaced with BRIDGE, which is just DEI only instead of a department they're making it every employee's responsibility to push the diversity shit. It was all planned, Blackrock finally gets to "Force behaviors" by escalating and taking on the employees they know only go along to get along, companies get to fire the dead weight diversity commissars and potentially win back some of the conservatives who have been boycotting them (Some companies are sincere, I don't think for a second Tractor Supply was on board with this shit and it shows that their announcement was lacking the usual "We remain committed to the ideals of DEI"), and the marxists pushing this nonsense get to lull the conservatives back to sleep so they stop getting lawsuits filed against them and push back on their bullshit. So if anyone says we're "winning" because some company made a milquetoast jab at "wokeness" or "OMG, Company X dissolved their DEI department (even though they said they're going to keep pushing it just without the commissars) we won!!!", treat them as either a shill, a grifter, or just naive.

For those of you unaware, there's actually multiple different thing going on with Deadpool and Wolverine. This film has nothing to do with modern Yidsney politics. In fact, Bob Iger and Kevin Feige wanted to bury the project when Reynolds brought it to them because it shouldn't exist their world of political activism, and the only reason why it exits today is because Bob Chapek was in charge of Yidsney at the time and was focused on small unimportant things like MAKING MONEY as opposed to pushing political messaging. However Yidsney is currently bleeding money since nearly all their current projects are outright failures and looking for anything they can possibly declare as a legitimate "win" so that they can keep this circus going for another couple years, which means Iger is going to take the success of D&W and try to treat it like it was "his" idea all along when it never was. HOWEVER however there is the argument to be made that you should go to the film in order to show your "support" and show that films should not be focused on pushing political activism. However HOWEVER HOWEVER (1) companies are fully aware that people are tired of political activism in their media and should be getting out of the echo chambers they developed that are declaring that the "reason" films are suddenly failing is "because" of well crafted and sophisticated internet troll brigades leading campaigns against the RottenTomatos and IMDB, (2) you should have at least waited a couple weeks because the way the box office works is that companies receive 100% of the profits from theatres for the first two weeks of showing and then split the revenue with the theatre the following weeks (It's why concession stand prices are so damn high, because they need to make the money somewhere), and (3) you're not really "supporting the cast" because Reynolds and all the staff we already paid for their work either upfront or during the process of making the movie. All that being said', D&W was projected to be a success for the past few YEARS. Nothing >we say or do is going to change that. Normalfags were looking for some outlet of "relief" from the current political climate, and D&W fits the bill for the next few months (Just in time for Reagan, Bettlejuice, or Joker to be the next big hit).

>>382336 Anon, I'm going to blow your mind on this, but middle men are the reason why everything sucks in the world. They are malicious and idiotic parasites that exist to weaken and destroy all good things or people until they are too drained to do anything about it and hold direct influence or control over all things constantly re-routing all paths to them until no one can do anything without first it running through them. Every retarded descision by a stockholder that ruins something? Middle men problem The neccesity of stockholders and outside support groups? Middle men problem Every single time something is censored, banned, or removed? Middle men problem The entire reason everything in the world is going towards forever subscription models for infinity profit? Middle men problem Every single artificial conflict and point of contention? Middle men problem Every single time you can't just decide something for yourself or on your own? Middle men problem HR firms? Middle men Consulting agencies? Middle men Localizers? Middle men Those that require you to need consulting agencies, HR firms, localization? Middle men The Government? Middle men And the only thing that keeps them in line is the fact that them being parasites means they can never "create" anything and rely upon everyone else who can for their continued existence and sustenance, which of course means that they have to play along or else their lifeline gets severed. But this is why everytime that get any amount of success they then use it to lobby, corrupt, legislate, intimidate, and buy out so it is that much harder for people to escape their grasp and why they forever preach for centralization of all things. They come in many facets and forms (especially from the funny little hat club) but they all do the same thing; make your life worse. The only thing middle men deserve to be in the middle of is the earth's core.

They're going to have a "Zoom coronation" because Ohio or some other bumfuck retard state is demanding the nominee be officially selected by then or they won't be on the ballot so they need to do it ahead of the actual convention. It's obvious that Democrat party leadership did not want Harris and would have preferred the last two weeks be a Thunderdome to select the most-electable candidate. Harris is not beloved by the likes of Pelosi, Schumer, et al. and they would not have endorsed her if it wasn't clear she had it in the bag. Biden felt pushed-out by the party leaders and he personally coronated Kamala as a middle finger to all of them. This late in the game, there's also some legal benefits to passing it to his running mate. >another '68 scale riot Not going to happen. Harris isn't considered an ideal candidate, but she's a better option than Biden. Anyone willing to vote for Biden as a "not Trump" candidate will vote for her and she has a better chance of picking up independents who aren't thrilled with Trump but also don't want someone with dementia in the White House. She'll also improve voter turnout in districts with a large black population. Biden was riding on his association with Obama but was losing those votes, either to Trump or to apathy. Harris will reclaim those and probably get more than Biden ever did. That's good news for her in many of the East Coast and Midwest swing states. Her biggest weakness will be Latinos, many of which adore Trump. Arizona and New Mexico will be difficult for her, but picking Kelly for VP will go a long way. She can probably win PA without Shapiro, considering the demographic shift and Biden's endorsement. Democrats just want to be unified and have a candidate that has a chance. No Democrat is going to contest the switch. Republicans who want Trump to have an easy win are the only ones who are put off by the switch. Anyone who held their nose for Biden will do so with Harris. Everyone else was already either voting Trump or sitting out.

>>382368 Great question! WebP aims to balance quality and practicality when it comes to website images. With the help of predictive coding, WebP files compress photos and graphics without reducing the quality of their appearance. Smaller image sizes also ease the strain on user broadband connections and make websites faster to navigate, improving page experience. Each WebP file consists of both VP8 or VP8L image data. The format has evolved to keep pace with shifting consumer habits and emerging digital trends! Google added support for animation and transparency and the format is now compatible with web browsers beyond just Google products! Google Chrome natively supports WebP, and other web browsers like Firefox, Edge, and Opera. However, it also encourages web developers and designers to first convert PNG and JPEG files to WebP to speed up page loading times!
>>382368 The posting of funnypictures has been solved for decades. Jaypegs if you don't care if it looks like shit, PNiGgers if you care for quality (but not bandwidth) and GIFs if the joke is so highbrow that you need multiple sequential frames to get it across. Don't care what newfangled and useless abomination jewgle decided to cook up in their gay code labs.
>>382368 1. In terms of Quality, compression, function, and size they are shit compared to nearly every other file type already in use 2. It is direct from Google and in addition to that they have also used their position of power to strong arm it's implementation all across the Internet 3. It has high vulnerabilities that cannot be patched or addressed in any real way 4. It could very easily be used for bullshit baked in dmca or drm purposes both online and on your own harddrive 5. >>382374 Basically any kind of Zero-day exploit you can think of. Essentially if you save a "malformed" webp, or it is uploaded and accepted onto a server, it can then be used to remotely fuck with anything in all sorts of ways that can only be solved by an air gap or a complete wipe of all prior data. And the kicker is that thanks to how it is designed (that whole dmca/drm/tracker worry thing) you cannot realistically do anything about it or prepare against it if you allow webp files.

webp is a gaygle product and therefore bad, we must embrace the best image format ever created: farbfeld, which is easy to * parse * compress * pipe while other image formats require complex libraries to use and have integrated compression, farbfeld is a simple format that leaves compression up to better tools, and only requires external libraries for conversion to other formats and leaving the compression up to better tools can lead to even better compression than png

>>382399 > I simply asked what solution do they have to bring to the table? See, this is exactly what I mean. It's the trivialization of discontent because of a lack of actionable options when you know full well the system is entrenched like a tick so the only suggestion is one at incalcuable risk to the would-be revolutionaries and little chance of success, so you'll inevitably respond with "you first" and leave it at that. That's how this conversation always goes with no productive dialogue and I'm sick of it. If you asserted that voting is something to do to, say, buy more time to prepare before Shit Hits The Fan or because leftist/neocon policies are gonna come down on you either way and there's no realistic way to stop normalfags voting altogether so you might as well find the one who makes it slightly easier on you economically, then at least there would be SOMETHING out of this as it would implicitly challenge the anon to disagree critically and act as a litmus test of whether he's complaining for the sake of it. This is a lot better and more like what I wanna see; presentation of facts and options AS a counter-argument instead of "fishing it from the other guy" as an argument in and of itself. All this being said, as far as "alternative to voting" goes, I've seen the argument play out in a hundred similar variations and the fact the song-and-dance never ends anyway but "go fight>you first" (assuming it past "what's your solution") has led me to the conclusion (beside the obvious "we have shills among us") that there IS no alternative to voting that doesn't involve a reckless lone wolf attack that doesn't accomplish anything because the populace isn't going to civil war in a day (if ever) and a sentiment that most anons understood that but never wanted to admit it. Look, I'm sorry for bitching you out. I'm just feeling like things are stuck in a rut and I hate it. Maybe I myself wanted the answer to that question too and got frustrated there didn't seem to be one.

Is there a solution to "government"?
>>382465 The founding fathers' idea was give everyone guns. Turned out after a few generations that when a status quo forms, people become more invested in keeping it going than taking responsibility for themselves. So long as people wish a large organizational body to take responsibility for inconvenient things (like letting Jews in every few centuries for Usury because keeping track of finances is too hard) it's simply impossible to minimize the risk of a malevolent actor sneaking in and using societal rules against you. In a "Dear Colleague" letter, Paul urged his colleagues to reject the bill and protested against the "duty of care" that KOSA would impose on internet platforms: <While proponents of the bill claim that it is not designed to regulate content, imposing a "duty of care" on online platforms to mitigate harms associated with mental health can only lead to one outcome: the stifling of First Amendment protected speech. <Should platforms stop children from seeing climate-related news because climate change is one of the leading sources of anxiety amongst younger generations? Should they stop children from seeing coverage of international conflicts because it could lead to depression? Should pro-life groups have their content censored because platforms worry that it could impact the mental well-being of teenage mothers? This bill opens the door to nearly limitless content regulation. <The bill contains a number of vague provisions and undefined terms. The text does not explain what it means for a platform to 'prevent and mitigate' harm, nor does it define 'addition-like behaviors.' Additionally, the bill does not explicitly define the term 'mental health disorder.' Instead, it references the Fifth Edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Health Disorders or 'the most current successor edition.' As such, the definition could change without any input from Congress. >Paul went on to call the bill "a Trojan Horse." >Alas, Paul's letter is "unlikely to have even the slightest effect," writes Techdirt's Mike Masnick. "KOSA has 70 cosponsors, all of whom want to get nonsense headlines in their local papers about how they voted to 'protect the children' even as the bill will actually do real harm to children." >It's possible the bill's only opponents in the Senate are Paul and the Oregon Democrat Ron Wyden. (Any time Paul and Wyden are the only two senators against a bill, you can bet it's some civil-liberties-squelching nonsense.) >Wyden voted yes in the cloture vote but had said he will vote no when it comes to actually passing the bill. While he thinks the final version of the bill is an improvement over earlier versions, "these improvements remain insufficient," Wyden posted on X. >"I fear KOSA could be used to sue services that offer privacy technologies like encryption or anonymity features that kids rely on to communicate securely and privately without being spied on by predators online," Wyden added. >Some changes made recently include 1) explicitly stating that nothing in the bill expands or limits the scope of the internet liability law known as Section 230, and 2) changing some language related to the duty-of-care requirement. >Before, the bill said "a covered platform shall take reasonable measures in the design and operation of any product, service, or feature that the covered platform knows is used by minors" (emphasis mine). Now it limits the dusty of care to "the creation and implementation of any design feature." >The latter change theoretically limits the duty of care to product design decisions and not the entirety of its operation or services. And applying KOSA's duty of care only to design, not to content, is theoretically good. But because product design decisions—how algorithms work, how content is displayed, suppressed, filtered, etc.—are so intimately tied up in what content gets seen and what doesn't, the practical difference might be nil. >Matthew Lane, senior policy counsel at Fight for the Future, has a lengthy post explaining why "in KOSA's case, it's proven impossible so far to separate the design of content recommendation systems from the speech itself." He writes: <The difference between the aspirations of KOSA and its inevitable impacts work like this: KOSA wants systems engineers to design algorithms that put safety first and not user engagement. While some companies are already pivoting away from pure engagement focused algorithms, doing so can be really hard and expensive because algorithms aren't that smart. Purely engagement focused algorithms only need to answer one question—did the user engage? By asking that one question, and testing different inferences, the algorithms can get very good at delivering content to a user that they will engage with. <But when it comes to multi-purpose algorithms, like those that want to only serve positive content and avoid harmful content, the task is much harder and the algorithms are unreliable. Algorithms don't understand what the content they are ranking or excluding is or how it will impact the mental health and well-being of the user. Even human beings can struggle to predict what content will cause the kinds of harm described by KOSA. <To comply with KOSA, tech companies will have to show that they are taking reasonable steps to make sure their personalized recommendation systems aren't causing harm to minors' mental health and well-being. The only real way to do that is to test the algorithms to see if they are serving "harmful" content. But what is "harmful" content? KOSA leans on the [Federal Trade Commission] and a government-created Kids Online Safety Council to signal what that content might be. This means that Congress will have significant influence over categorizing harmful speech and platforms will use those categories to implement keywords, user tags, and algorithmically-estimated tags to flag this "harmful" content when it appears in personal recommendation feeds and results. This opens the door to government censorship. <But it gets even worse. The easiest and cheapest way to make sure a personal recommendation system doesn't return "harmful" content is to simply exclude any content that resembles the "harmful" content. This means adding an additional content moderation layer that deranks or delists content that has certain keywords or tags, what is called "shadowbanning" in popular online culture. >Lane points out how this may even wind up hurting young people who turn online for help, since "these sorting systems will not be perfect and will lead to mistakes on both sides": <For example, imagine the scenario in which a young user posts a cry for help. This content could easily get flagged as suicide or other harmful content, and therefore get deranked across the feeds of all those that follow the person and care for them. No one may see it. >With senators set to pass KOSA tomorrow, "the real fight now moves to the House," notes Masnick. "It's unclear if there's consensus on moving on the bill there, and if so, in what form. The current House bill is different than the Senate one, so the two sides would have to agree on what version moves forward. The real answer should be neither, but it seems like the ship has sailed on the Senate version."

>>382478 Infinity, even nested infinities, doesn't necessarily mean infinite possibilities sadly. For instance, take the number sequence 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, - and on to infinity. Within this infinity there are numerous sub-infinities. 1 (1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4), 2 (2.1, 2.2, 2.3), 3 (3.1, 3.2, 3.3) etc. But these all exist within the framework of pure numbers - there will never be an infinity or sub-infinity in which 6.9238620928023423098234 is followed by a hibiscus flower or cat vomit or a ninja. So there may be infinite universes with infinite series of differing events - but none of which look all that different than the reality we find ourselves in now even when accounting for the butterfly effect. Sure you can stick your fingers in someone's thigh to pinch their artery, but the extreme edge cases and poor implementations of first aid doesn't mean we throw out the concept. Nature isn't in your control (It's in your parents, and it's still semi random because of mutations, genetic factors and combinations we're still yet to understand, etc), and the Nurture part also isn't very well under control from the individual either. But it seems like the vast majority of them were simply not taught how to make home cooked meals. And/or they did not learn to find satisfaction in cooking something they enjoyed. Go back a generation or two from millennials, and people were still being taught by their mothers and grandmothers about food. Didn't matter if you were rich or dirt poor, male or female, learning how to make meals was a part of family bonding and your heritage. Yes, millennials may have grown up eating home cooked meals sometimes. But it seems as though their parents did not see teaching these skills as important as their own parents did. When you think of the rise of VHS, video tapes, and music CDs, you certainly don't think of Boomers being at the center of it. It was people younger than them. >>382637 >Yes, millennials may have grown up eating home cooked meals sometimes. But it seems as though their parents did not see teaching these skills as important as their own parents did. Or they simply didn't have the time. A large part of it is this, but also there was no burden on the millenials to learn or want to learn how to cook at home, and very few of them had interests outside of their job and the internet. Thus you get a lot of people using doordash. It isn't just food that it applies to, Even things I like (videogames, painting models) take a lot of effort to even just start doing. It is like there is a mental block preventing me from doing anything.
>>382656 >It is just easier and depression makes it hard to motivate one self to do anything. Thus you get a lot of people using doordash. Spending quadruple the cost that you otherwise would isn't easier. People had to acquire that money somehow, and acquiring money is work, one way or another.
>>382646 >VCRs are already LONG dead, and no one makes VHS tapes nor has for decades Blank tapes are still more than easy enough to find. Large deposits and withdrawals still require you to physically visit a real bank. Unless they implement CBDC. >>382653 >Is it because Blu-rays have even more DRM than DVDs? Yes, however Blu-Rays never really caught on even for commercial releases because there's only so much quality that you can get out of a picture before you're just wasting people's time. In fact when I was downloading Combattler V, I found out that some Blu-Rays were literally just the 480p DVD releases but in a package with fewer discs (Think how PC games went from 3-4 CDs to one DVD). When I was visiting Wally World yesterday, I noticed that, not only can you still find DVDs but, of even RECENT shows like Cobra Kai and Suits still being released on the DVD format.
>>382658 >>382653 Blu-rays have always only ever been a copy protection racket from Sony. DVD's were suppose to be that but then they "escaped into the wild" with things like region free players and region 0 discs. >>382652 I fucking love LaserDiscs.

>>382653 >I see recordings of live events being handed out as DVDs but never Blu-rays. Is it because Blu-rays have even more DRM than DVDs? Part of it is DRM but I think it lies more in these >blank DVD packs cost peanuts, you can distribute more of them to people at affordable prices & profit <blank Blu-Ray packs cost more >there are more blank DVDs available in supply, you've likely seen one in a thrift store <not as many for Blu-Rays >people already have a DVD player of some kind in their home (A PS2, a portable DVD player if they travel, a old or new PC with a DVD drive, etc.) <less so for Blu-Rays. At most a PS3 or PS4 or a Blu-Ray player itself (Now that they're cheaper to get when they originally used to be expensive.) Some PCs might have a Blu-Ray optical drive but I believe it's not enough to dwarf those with DVD-only drives I think portable Blu-Ray players do exist but I don't see anyone watching Blu-Rays in their car or riding the train or plane The only positive Blu-Ray has is that, for the most part, it's region-free & can be played on many players unlike region-locked DVDs. You can only change the region localization on your PC or consoles up to 4 times before you're stuck with that choice.
>>382658 >Unless they implement CBDC. That's why the original commie revolutions repealed all sexual morality laws and tried to end marriage itself, for example.

>>382660 As a Gen X-er this is not true, at least for me. I have long recognized that having something in one format only is a means of control by companies, governments, etc. I have DVDs solely for the fact that should the aforementioned assholes actually gain control of usage means then they can, at least, control what you can see or hear and at most, control you through coercion. Eg >Oh you watch that old show? you must be a racist or sexist. Please stand by while we send out the IRS to make your life a living hell. What would happen if a global cyber attack were to affect .com domains by crippling DNS servers somehow? Normalfags would completely lose their shit because their bread and circuses would be taken away from them. especially if it was a physical attack that actually damaged such servers that would keep said servers down for days if not weeks. For practicality I try to have my entertainment duplicated on multiple formats in case hardware becomes unobtainable to me. When the world turns to complete shit I will still have a reason to laugh and be entertained in my free time.
>>382712 This cuckchanner has a point, considering half of each gaymergay thread is composed of peak normalfaggotry.

>>995753 Why don't you go ahead and quote the next 3 words of that post for me. Also you're a complete fucking retard if you don't understand proposing why a tax against people without children during campaign season is immensely fucking stupid. Even then it's comically fucking stupid because you could just propose more tax incentives for people to get married and have children while remaining in wedlock. This is politics 101, actually it's anthropology 101. Never take something away when giving something can achieve the exact same result. Never nerf when you can buff.

>>382681 Sneedchungus is a poster on 4chan's /ggg/ general. He's a really good Sin player. His only crime really is having some loli in his likes, and they've been trying to go after him since. The transphobia accusations stems from the rumor that he was the guy that went by "YWNBAW" as a Ky player to meme on people, but this has never been confirmed

>>382735 I have brought shame to my family for generations
>>382736 That's better.
>>382724 >>382728 Thanks for looking into it. There's no way that would be official dialogue in a manga. At least not yet. What even is the point of marriage if you want to be autonomous anyways?
>>382635 I can confirm this. Organizing touristic trips made me aware that milleenials are turbo retards and afraid of everything. Especially regarding food. They don't try anything local on any region, and don't want anything that they have to prepare. The groups of millenials that I had traveling around were the kind that would forfeit any restaurant and just go for a McDonalds or the closest thing to one, on every single trip. They wouldn't even buy things like cup noodles, for fear of not heating them properly when arriving at their hotels. They truly are afraid of anything that is "do it yourself" and also afraid of experimenting any food that they don't already know.
>>382738 Given the context, I'm certain it's meant in the healthy way, not in the "open marriage" way. That is, having your own hobbies and own friends, spending time with them--or alone--rather than exclusively demanding you do things together.
>>382739 You're probably just friends with fat retards.
(927.16 KB 720x480 Mark.webm)

>>382740 It very well could be, and probably is. Autonomy is a strong word though, and usually implies complete freedom and separation from something else. Especially concerning decision making. Which is the opposite of what a successful marriage is, where husband and wife make big decisions together. That's why I had to ask if it was an edit, thought some social media addicted localizers got their hands on another manga series.
>>382685 Recently a number of top Strive players got caught up in several separate sexual harassment accusations (to no surprise, all involving trannies and open relationships), as well as the entire Strive cabal having sudden realizations that their community is filled with mentally stunted cliques of faggots with Peter Pan syndrome. But you won't hear anything about it, instead let's ban... SneedChungus instead because he posted a picture of the sobbing emoji on twitter a couple of times! Fighting games being popular was a mistake. >>382691 Also, aren't the discs deteriorating? It's a shame, I went to Japan last summer and there were stacks of LDs for pennies at Book Offs, but I didn't really trust them to work, and the player itself is the big up-front cost anyway.
>>382729 >campaign season Elections are a lie, anon. Literally everything is already decided. As for taxes and childless people, incentives make the government earn less, while taxation makes it earn more, and it forces people (instead of just asking them) to produce the next generation of replaceable tools. >Never take something away when giving something can achieve the exact same result The current world proves this wrong every passing day. Do you see any government at all following any rules anymore?
>>382745 >he posted a picture of the sobbing emoji on twitter a couple of times have you learned your lesson in trying to co-opt our memes and make them normalfag friendly?

Optical discs are prone to deterioration, but the time span of that happening ranges from as little as five years to as many as 90 years (By liberal estimates). As far as how one can prevent it, no one really knows. In fact, I can attest that I've been blown through and ripped hundreds of CDs and DVDs over the past year (Both games and music, some are WELL over 30 years old, pics are a few) and all of them still work fine. >I went to Japan last summer and there were stacks of LDs for pennies at Book Offs They'll likely be in good quality. Japan is really autistic about preserving media in it's original format.
>>382747 Well for SneedChungus specifically, he keeps changing his name and sneaking into online brackets, he doesn't seem to be taking much seriously. But other players are getting tons of threats and doxxing and bans for having liked art on twitter. As much as I liked Strive at the beginning, the way patches changed gameplay from release and the garbage community really drove it into the ground for me. Unfortunately people don't want to admit it that the community became "Smash Community 2" because that would require calling out trannies that are obsessed with sex, and annoying autistic niggers who send death threats to people.
>>382745 Do you have archives of those news about the Strive community being full of pedophile trannies? It would be good to show that to normalfags. Have you tried contacting Craig at his Sidescrollers channel? He is doing a great job of exposing the woke freaks in the industry.
>>382747 Imagine posting a crying emoji after losing a match. Then you are banned because of loli """signaling""" or whatever
