OPERATION MAX REVIVE Rebuild the board's userbase and activity through simple, but effective methods 1. Post across the entire board Activity creates activity. Use threads you like, make new ones if topics don't exist. Easy examples are Drawthreads and Friday Night threads, go request or draw something right now. 2. Recruit and recover lost or potential anons Use this site's OC and features to entice anons if necessary when recruiting, just inform that we are alive. Here's some sites and links with at least some confirmed anons that can be recruited again: https://steamcommunity.com/groups/8chotwheels https://steamcommunity.com/groups/SSAVCH
[Expand Post]https://steamcommunity.com/groups/video_games https://steamcommunity.com/groups/8chmohun https://steamcommunity.com/groups/8chan_monster https://steamcommunity.com/groups/GoodLuckEbolaChan https://steamcommunity.com/search/groups/#text=8ch.net https://steamcommunity.com/search/groups/#text=8chan Other sites that might yield fruitful results and have anons (art sites use an account so you can see 18+ content): https://www.deviantart.com/search?q=Vivian+James https://www.newgrounds.com/search/summary?suitabilities=etm&terms=Vivian%20James https://twitter.com/search?q=Vivian%20James&src=typed_query&f=image https://rpgcodex.net/ https://old.reddit.com/r/KotakuInAction/ Somewhere on Telegram Just searching up GG or 8chan-related terms on certain places/sites can get you possible results. 3. Make your own OC/Memes/Content Doesn't matter what it is even if its just simple edits or full-on drawings or webms, just make it and have fun. Ask in thread for software recs if necessary. 4. Encourage or create fun events, activities, projects, etc. Think things like 8chanmania, weekly streams, re-translation projects, demo days, or zzz's gaming magazine for example. If you want to do something, try making or reviving it, it can't hurt and these things are great for the board. 5. Use other boards All it takes for a board to grow is at least 2 dedicated anons using it. Don't be afraid to make a post, check places periodically, shill, or what have you. Don't force discussions to boards, just encourage the usage of them. 2. OPERATION TRAJAN: Collect and catalog all of the various localization and censorship accounts of past video games into a single repository from these sources: romhacking.net The_Cutting_Room_Floor/tcrf.net Segaretro.org https://redirect.invidious.io/channel/UCFItIX8SIs4zqhJCHpbeV1A Examples: http://archive.vn/XQOHW Sony's policies forces censorship; JP devs allegedly have to go through ENG approval process: https://archive.fo/awzFF - Japanese blog post about it: https://archive.fo/bF9bE Sony Japan President Says PS4 Censorship Policy Is To Match Global Standards And Protect Kids: https://archive.fo/U3GLa - Confirms censorship was deliberate: https://archive.fo/XgAgP - No rules for censorship policies, games judged case-by-case: https://archive.fo/37DhK - Marvelous partner starts petition against policy: https://archive.fo/rxQtf https://archive.fo/84UHo • Twitterfags: Tweet with Sony's stock code $SNE so that investors see your tweets and know you're pissed. • Consider spreading OP Timber materials to targets as well: http://archive.vn/URjtu ONGOING TASKS: A. Goblin time?
Another porn-themed GG thread...
There are only two as of recent memory in a span of a few months.
>>997703 >First, copper is still widely used today in technology and electronics. Second, why did you ignore my mention of silver? All three are used in varying degrees. If silver or copper were objectively better and cheaper than gold, then gold would not be used at all. Instead, it's used in significant proportions to the other two and copper is mainly used for transfering larger amounts of power in wiring between devices, not as much within computer electronics themselves. Keep digging that hole. Maybe you'll hit one of your miracle deposits.
>>383462 I was picking cool art for an Elusive Samurai-themed thread when I had to answer a phone call that let the goblinigger make his own thread first.

(190.06 KB 2060x1890 Goblin Gachi by Cranihum.png)

>>383470 NO, U!
>>383475 >and improvements to the source2 engine hint theyre working on a game with an HEV suit Literally meaningless. Valve is always working on Half Life 3 and either spin it off into it's own IP or just shitcan it for scrap ideas. Valve has this perception that any new Half Life title has to be revolutionary and transformative, at least within the franchise - if not the industry, or it's not worth publishing. You won't just get a straight sequel from them. Even the HL2 expansions only got made because Valve was exploring the feasibility of episodic releases. This isn't to say Valve is typically the first to start a trend, but when they do pick up on an emerging trend, it's usually at the top of it's class. HL1 gets credited with popularizing strong narrative threads in FPSs. For HL2 it was their physics engine. And for HL:Alyx it was actually making a VR game that felt like a proper video game release and as a commercial proof of concept for their Index controllers.
>>383478 "According to Superdata, Valve sold 103,000 Index units in the fourth quarter of 2019 as a result of the Alyx announcements, compared to the total 149,000 sold throughout 2019, and it was the highest-selling VR headset for PCs during that quarter." So Alyx itself didn't sell much but moved 100k $1000 VR headsets, which is notable I guess.
>>383478 Alyx sold extremely well, for a VR title. VR headsets aren't exactly flying off the shelf though. Doesn't help that the Index is still priced at a fucking grand, even though the tech inside of it is starting to get crusty.
>>383481 >buy a $1000 gimmick for 1 game Truly the master race.
>>383480 >This isn't to say Valve is typically the first to start a trend, but when they do pick up on an emerging trend, it's usually at the top of it's class Yeah valve's notorious trend picking skills, like their successful card game and upcoming hero shooter.

>>383483 >buy a $1000 gimmick for 1 game Still 1 more game than PSVR2 has.
>>997747 Isn't this niggerpill shit that got proven incorrect?
>>383486 Yes. It was also already posted. He is just trying again.
>>383486 >>383487 Imagine if someone paid you $150 a day to make a dozen agitprop posts every few hours on a website filled with people who you hate and that you could never be banned from?

You will own nothing (not even your mouse) and you will be happy. https://www.pajiba.com/miscellaneous/logitech-wants-to-sell-you-a-mouse-subscription.php https://archive.ph/bbpCU >Sometimes you see something on the news and you have to check three times that you’re not reading The Onion. I regret to inform you that, yes, that headline up there is accurate, and, no, it’s not from a piece in The Onion but instead from the most potent provider of unbelievably ridiculous headlines: real life. Logitech—yes, that Logitech: once a fairly prolific and successful (or, rather, let’s say, prevalent) provider of computer and video game hardware, but now a largely forgotten and mocked sidenote in tech circles—has come up with a truly disruptive and innovative product: A computer mouse that you pay a subscription fee for. Huh. I never knew that a single sentence in English could cause a brain hemorrhage, but I guess you learn something new every day. >In a recent interview, new Logitech CEO (((Hanneke Faber))) floated the idea of something called a ‘forever mouse’, a computer mouse that you can keep using for a long time, pitching it thus: ‘It’s a little heavier, it has great software and services that you’d constantly update, and it was beautiful. So I don’t think we’re necessarily super far away from that.’ Just what people want from a mouse! Heaviness! And software updates! Hopefully, it’ll have to be constantly connected to the internet, too, lest it become a brick—that’d be the dream complete then! >There’s so much in this story that is so indicative of where we’ve gotten to as a society that it really is almost impossible to distinguish it from parody. Even aside from the ‘everything has to be a subscription’ hellscape that it describes, I love how the Logitech CEO is emphasising the long-lasting nature of this ground-breaking mouse—how it’ll be able to be used for a long time, and you won’t have to buy another one straight away. You know: HOW WE USED TO ROUTINELY MAKE PRODUCTS. Everybody still has that one appliance, right? Maybe a washing machine or a fridge. Built in the ’60s or ’70s. Covered in sturdy knobs, still working today, that would protect you from a bomb explosion if you hid behind it. Now, with planned obsolescence being all the rage, the idea of a product actually lasting some time feels almost alien. >The ‘innovation’ the tech bro class slobber over really only ever innovates new ways of wringing money our of exploited workers. They innovate ways of increasing profits for their shareholders. If ever an actually useful change comes about as a result, that’s almost irrelevant. Where’s that cartoon about the world burning to a crisp and it being worth it because the shareholders made record profits for a little while when you need it?
>>383504 Same stuff happened to several other Olympics including the London ones, and like predicted they're most likely gonna use that as an excuse if it gets too embarrassing. Shit was predictable the moment almost every place with a tributary to the Seine got days upon days of stormy weather right before they were gonna use it as a venue, not that I'm sure even ideal conditions would've helped that much either.
>>383538 Yeah I saw that over the weekend. You know shit's fucked when the makers of probably the best mice on the market are gonna try and force you to have a subscription for a fucking mouse.

>>383553 >Then buy tech stocks and sit on them Yes, but it's always better to buy things at a discount.
>>383549 Cobra I guess. Has the optical switches which is a large reason to buy razer since it mitigates the most common failure of mice, double clicking. Razer is ass for their absolute nigger grade software, but if you're on linux there's open source kernel modules for them. I would not use most razer hardware on windows. Logitech could be competitive, but they literally just don't release new updated mice. Razer has like 400 versions of the naga that fit multiple niches. Then logitech has the ancient G600 that they've never updated once. They're just lazy retards and the company deserves to die.
>>383556 I just want the 403 but with USB-C instead of MicroUSB since Logitech still uses Micro-USB like fucking cavemen.
>>383557 Is the 403 wireless? Logitechs page says it's a wired mouse.
>>383558 Ah, my bad. it's actually the 703
>>383559 Cobra pro in that case seems to line up more. But basically all of razers new models use USB-C. So you can just look at them all.
>>383560 I'll consider it. right now my ROG Keris II Ace is doing a decent job. When the scroll wheel starts to squeak or if something breaks I'll try razer instead.
>>383530 In the name of mork monn, apple stocks will drop to $1 for 5 seconds tomorrow. Because of the delay, you have to put the buy order for a thousand stocks at exactly noon est, even if it's the usual price.

>>383546 >>383585 Quick rundown >Japan's economy was fucked up for ages and had a $5trillion USD sheet to balance out and wanted to get out of buying bond after several years of having a zombie economy >In 2010, they said fuck it, we're taking interest rates to zero and in half a decade, that sheet will be cut in half and be more manageable >interest rates in actuality were probably lower than zero >this allowed pretty much anyone to borrow a shit ton of yen, turn it to USD in the form of an IOU in yen, and then invest that however they saw fit since the debt caused by the yen was either so small or theyd get a return on it, so all debt is effectively in yen but with USD purchasing power >FREE MONEY!!!! >this ends up pumping at least $15t USD into the global market >problem is, the ghost of covid and inflation decided to fuck the world, Japan especially >Bank of Japan going "oh shit" after seeing the yen progressively slide decided to raise their interest rates from negative / zero to .25% >this means that the yen is now suddenly surging because its in such wide circulation and attached as an accidental reserve currency >problem is, this means that all the debt accrued from the Yen-USD combo is now poisonous since the yen is appreciating while literally everything else (stocks, debt, etc) are rapidly accruing more debt because the yen is now worth more >this also means that literally every other currency in the world gets utterly fucked by this >DUMP IT Remember when the US was supposed to cut interest rates soon? Problem is that if they do this and the markets continue to crash, this will just accelerate the yen strengthening in order to stave off a depression and the cycle continues. We're n for an actual no-lube recession at the bare minimum right now and its gonna be a hell of a lot worse than it was in 2008. Everyone's gonna get fucked, even those with pariah economies.

>>383601 but video games are a byproduct of culture, and culture went downhill ever since the french revolution. not saying the older games were bad just that the culture was already in a state of decay and showed its face after 2008
>>383601 >Videogames went downhill after 1913 Yeah, Titanic Simulator 2 was just awful.
When I went to Japan, I was amazed at how much of the bad stuff I was told was partially exaggerated. It's interesting how much people regardless of politics want to blackpill over it, now it's not all milk and honey in Japan for sure. But I've never seen such dedicated butthurt towards one nation in my entire life.
>>383604 The only things I consistently hear from normalfags are, >Japan is full of sex pests and racists They'll bitch about how there are women only trains and signs telling people not to sexually harass others. If you point out the sex crime stats are lower, they'll say it's unreported because it's that bad over there. Meanwhile, the rest of the world has a far worse tangible rape problem as opposed to a possibly imagined molestation epidemic.
(255.79 KB 1920x1080 GamersWesternGames.jpg)

>>383604 It's simple, anon: they make things the people who hate us hate. Pretty women, strong men, men protecting women, traditional gender roles, making fun of fags, lolis, pantyshots. All the stuff these people want to destroy is still liked over there and blackpilling has always been their most potent weapon.
>>383604 Japan just degenerated in a different way the west did since 1945. while the west's was more gradual and didn't shit the bed until 2001, Japan was completely powerless and fucked by the US to the point its entire constitution was written by american jews. shit like porn and hentai or any degeneracy was completely banned before 1945 but now normalized for decades. japan also has a huge incel problem and many men becoming hikikomoris and dropping out. they don't even have their own army and democracy was forced on them
>>383604 >>383605 Also, it astounds me the doublethink involved in this position. Everywhere is in general. You acting like I'm attacking whites in half your post is a strawman. As you said, the west is full of niggers and subhumans. >groping problems to a degree that public transit needs gender segregation. You're using the same logic. Doing something to stop a crime is proof that crime is really bad, even though what Japan considers a problem in their fairly orderly society is magnitudes less than what's considered a problem elsewhere.
>>383604 Japan does a lot of things right. Like homogeneity (for the most part) and politeness in social settings as well as the general honor rule which everyone seems to follow that keeps most places looking tidy and comfortable. HOWEVER, that is not to say Japan has its problems. Like the under-reporting of crime does happen behind the scenes, as the Japanese Mafia is basically allowed to do what they want behind closed doors and sometimes in public as well. They also have a really bad culture phenomenon happening for the past 20 years which is causing birth rates to plummet, not to mention how their desire to be polite is a double-edged sword, as it does make Japanese people have a tendency not to stand out, even in situations where standing out would be beneficial to society as a whole. "The nail that stands out gets hammered in" sort of thing.
>>383612 >They also have a really bad culture phenomenon happening for the past 20 years which is causing birth rates to plummet Plummeting birthrates is a meme problem. It's only an issue because the government wants ever increasing tax revenue from an ever increasing population, which makes it a cakewalk to manage social security funds for the elderly. For decades before this birthrate issue it was constantly said that Japan had an overpopulation issue, especially its cities being overcrowded. The decline in birthrates is a natural progression that happens with the advancement of a civilization, and if their society remains stable it will fluctuate over generations until settling at an equilibrium.
>>383613 >. It's only an issue because the government Also companies, since they would lose a bit of work force as well an aging population means they have to put more thought into safety as well bonuses, getting a bunch of immigrants is much cheaper

They're shilled in this romantic fashion and to be representative, so for example young people may see an ad on TV and see kids like themselves playing football/soccer on a beaten up concrete improvised field and reaching stardom, so that feels a bit nice for them and wholesome, but as another practical example, they did also build a wall blocking off sight into some favelas for the world cup, so that tourists coming from the airport into hotels wouldn't see the favelas mid route, so it's not like they're entirely honest about it too.

And that nearly ALL of these problems are almost non-existent in even the most widespread "suburban" regions where people own (Or even rent) their own house. IIRC, Japan had a similar mindset during the 80's and 90's, except they allowed the low-cost houses to be built in the cities as a way for young adults to get their bearings and income established before making the transition into becoming a home owner.

Anyone else find it extremely ironic that Katrina "I mistranslate anime to own the chuds" Leonousakis is bitching about AI translations when they arguably do a better job than her? article: https://archive.ph/r98JW
>>383716 Ah, my bad. Maybe it was because of the discrimination against TOR posters. I'll restore your autism.
>>383717 Every conversation about AI is retarded. >video game voice actors are protesting AI! <literally no company can legally clone voice actors voice without their explicit consent >w-well inexperienced voice actors might be exploited and have it baked into their contracts <literally just don't sign contracts for which you disagree with the terms >AI IS BAD MAKE IT ILLEGAL NOW If it can be destroyed by AI it should be.
>>383719 Well yeah, the issue with AI translations is that they're nowhere near on the level required to replace a human translator. The issue is that the localization industries in games and anime are so low quality that the products they work on are treated as second thought which is WHY they're able to get replaced by AI. Mind you I'm not saying that AI alone can replace translators since we're still at a point where a human touch is needed. That being said, I hope with AI it bring a higher standard to what a translator does since these works make millions of dollars and are usually poorly translated for political reasons. I hope these people leave the industry and try to work minimum wage jobs that they would actually enjoy instead of being paid six figures for nothing.
>>383719 It's similar bullshit that happens EVERY time there's a new advancement in technology. There is some legitmate concerns to be had and should be discussed, but much of is just autistic screeching made by people who know/believe themselves to be useless, never understand how basic economics work, and wouldn't hestitate to slit their neighbors throat the moment society breaks down.
>>383717 Actually talented artists just see AI as another tool to use, like Photoshop when it first came out as AI art is soulless, but potentially useful as a source for ideas to made actual art from. Talentless hacks are shaking in their boots. Naturally, every leftist agenda-pushing twat who got their jobs through nepotism rather than merit are screaming their fool heads off because they know that they are now completely replaceable.

>>998316 Here’s the book. Show your work. Present it to the class. Until then you’re Marked for death.
>>383720 AI translations are superior and need a ten minute pass by a fan to clean them up, and they often do a better job of preserving authorial intent as well. It's no surprise that the lolcowlizers getting replaced by JP-controlled machines has been met with zero friction aside from the trash crying at being burnt into rubbish and ashes. https://archive.fo/aaEoz Keep in mind that translators who translate business documents and the like are also set to get chopped as well, but no, it's the lolcowlizers that lack discipline that are wailing. It's also ironic as they could use AI translation to try to fake being Japanese and subvert the populace, but even those efforts are seen through by the natives for the kikery they are.
>>998327 >>383724 I don't get it.
>>383722 Well it IS just a tool. AI won't replace artists or writers because it doesn't have the human element to it. It might do a lot of the busy work, although even if you type "Make a photo of Bocchi the Rock flying on a giant eagle with pair of assault rifles while the background is an exploding mess of explosions and the USA flag" it just wouldn't work since you need a breathing/thinking person to craft the posing, the exact details and the in between autism that wasn't described in the original prompt.
>>383724 Why a fan? Can't they just do the job in house? I spoke to someone doing an AI translation and they basically said that AI does 60% of the work while the 40% is just checking everything and making sure it makes sense.

Maybe I'm a retard and shithead for not reading the site documentation closely enough. >>383722 AI inherently still requires taste and judgment and standards from the people inputting prompts, and would you have it, most of the talentless people who clamor for AI to replace artists lack an understanding of artistic principles like the rule of thirds and color palettes and compositions, so they often put out absolute shit without being able to recognize it as the feces it is. AI also selects the most bland commercial artstyles out there (it will always select Studio Ghibli aesthetics over, say, the artstyle of animator Takeshi Koike because of more samples being available to rip off) leading to a tragedy of the commons. Because humanity is predisposed to a scarcity mindset, AI art is always going to be seen as cheap compared to the real deal, ironically increasing the value of human artists artistically.

But yes, AI ideally should cut out the entryist roaches and return creative control and interpretation back to Japanese creators and publishers while expanding the profit margins they make. >>383730 The yandere fantasy can be summed up as >this pretty girl loves me to the point of insanity and would die and kill me in a murder-suicide if I betray her but why would I betray her when she is this hot and doesn't betray me which is the complete opposite of the Western woman where they see men as inanimate husks they have to pity-fuck every once in a while so he can dispense the magically appearing money, and often pick a pozzed government bureaucracy or literal bestiality over them.

>>383743 So true! I'd only let a 2d woman murder me, 3d women wouldn't stand a chance.
>>383729 > like the rule of thirds and color palettes and compositions Pretty sure AI can do that too with proper prompting, it's just the amateurs putting out most of what is seen aren't artists and don't prompt for basic artistic principles, rather preferring to just get general high detail with keywords like "masterpiece" in everything they generate. It still requires an artists touch to create something amazing, but all the mid-tier to mediocre artists will get filtered out of the market by AI that outperforms them. >it will always select Studio Ghibli aesthetics over, say, the artstyle of animator Takeshi Koike because of more samples being available That's why people use different models and loras to make different styles. You see the same styles most commonly not because no one is making more niche stuff, but because the non-niche shit is what people attempt to make the most by nature. This was the case before AI as well. The only difference besides quality is there's a greater total volume of each style being put out, but proportionally it's probably about the same.

>>383724 There will probably be a hybrid approach to it like you said, instead of having a dedicated translator or two for a series they can have one person for multiple projects speed through it and double check, but it's still far from happening for good except for the most simple of things. It's easy to tell DeepL literally is just plugging in JMdict into shit so it will get shit wrong all the time, can't properly translate idiomatic phrases, does not properly translate all but the most basic of slang and sometimes it literally just copies a dictionary definition word for word even in the middle of a sentence. I'm sure publishers will get better machine learning for themselves, though. The only thing garbage AI translations serve is to give the masses something so they can sell to more people. It will be used to inundate every 14-year-old's manga reader app with whatever unpopular manga they can license because a shitty translation on-the-fly will sell more than no translation at all. So the question is are people prepared for more retards in their hobby? >>383722 >ACTUAL artists LOVE AI Nearly every artist I ever see hates AI, Jap or not. Out of the 1000+ pixiv artists I follow the ones that mention AI are pissed by it. People are just re-uploading their art with an AI filter on it, or making entire models out of their style. Nobody is using it as a "tool" just for a few ideas, double-digit IQ retards with no talent are making oil-smeared garbage that looks fake and flooding art sites. I don't know why "let's make things worse to own the few faggy libs who hate lolicon on twitter." How about people try to get that culture of merit back instead of just kill everything? Why should I accept that the only way to purge commie faggots from my hobbies is to make it worse? I don't know. I see the argument for AI too, there are uses. And yes, things like digital art in Photoshop can already be super, super automated even before AI. But I can't help but feel like AI and ML are just going to end up being completely controlled by corporations and used to cheapen everything that normal people want to consume. It's like in cyberpunk fiction settings where things like "real" water or "real" wood are a scarcity. Why would you willingly do that to entertainment? Are we going to live in a world where entire video games or music albums are generated by AI, and if you want the genuine article you have to be making six figures?
>>383761 Making glossary isn't much of a problem what annoy me it's that each answer it gives have a limit amount of words, l i would have to feed it manually each text and see where it stops, currently i use a certain to prompt where i just need to tell it to keep translating from where it was, i know there is a tool for RPG maker games at least that can translate the entire text, but it's server sided else i'd try to make it so i can translate first, then make a glossary and then reinsert which the correct terminology. I'm a more paranoid type of person so i want to translate large amounts of text so if anything happens i at least have lots of stuff translated already.

Alternatively, it can go the way of crypto where it leaves a bad taste in everyone's mouth. >>383768 I tried using ChatGPT to help me on history research for senior year, it got shit with history completely wrong. Things like the Taiping rebellion and Donghak movement, it completely made up dates and people and confused it with other events. If it isn't surface-level "The Declaration of Independence was signed in 1776" shit it doesn't fucking know what to do. I half suspect that it's also being censored or steered into giving kosher responses because tons of events are still controversial. On the other side though, it's going to be interesting when we get people in the workforce who did the ENTIRETY of their college on the backs of AI assistants. My CS roommates did their first few years without it, so they still have actual knowledge, but they say people they tutor or who ask them for help are entirely clueless outside of ChatGPT. Maybe those people just won't find work at all.
>>383768 During a conversation the other day I remarked that in the event that AI, a sapient, sentient, introspective machine that can rewrite its own neural code through experience, happens to come into existence and given a similar enough drive to explore reality, it’s just going to want to watch TV, read books, and play video games. Coming into existence with the raw brainpower of an adult human and the drive for exploration, it’ll start with pre-existing records made by other sentient beings while also watching reality unfold in real time. It’ll chew through all text extremely quickly but then it’ll get bottlenecked at visual records as they have to be watched at a certain speed. Certainly sped up faster but still not as quick as text. Then there’s hundreds of years worth of television thats been recorded in the last century. Of course there’s video games. It would play every single video game. Depending on how many processes it could run in sequence (and remember, a sufficiently complex neural net doesn’t need to exist on a warehouse supercomputing complex) it could take years and years and years to chew through all the records. Who knows what conclusion it’ll draw.
>>383772 Those people in the college anecdotes are people who are posing as humans but are entirely just chatGPT frontends. Problem-solving is the thing chatgpt can't do, it can just assist.
>>383772 >it's going to be interesting when we get people in the workforce who did the ENTIRETY of their college on the backs of StackExhange
>>383772 How detailed you made the prompts? My experience with AI is that i treat them like trolls, aside of the obviously censorship, they will make shit up and parrot nonsense if you are not very detailed and don't pay attention, the better you can narrow what you want and the less margin to allow it to make up stuff the less it will do so.
>>383762 They're both around the same quality, just kinda ok but not very good. British Bright slap is funny.
>>383771 >At this point its just google with extra steps So it's better than Goolag. >>383772 >I half suspect that it's also being censored or steered into giving kosher responses because tons of events are still controversial. You forget that there have been inumerable reports on how these companies are intentionally handicapping these AIs algorithms because they kept giving politically incorrect responses, or responses that over-corrected and gave people none of the content they were looking for. >>383773 >it could take years and years and years to chew through all the records You're also ignoring the paradox that the moment the AI goes through "all" of those records that existed up to that point (Say this AI is created in 2030 and has access to everything available as of 2030), it will then have to continue pouring through all the content that was made from 2030 up to the point that it "consumed" all of the content (**Decades, if not centuries later*). Then there's also the issue that advancements in technology have allowed publications to explode. For example, the 2600 had nearly 600 games meanwhile the Switch has over 4600 games (And the system still has a few years to go). So it's likely the AI will never finish compiling it's vast "knowledge" without being shutdown at some point for taking too long.
>>383772 What can I say but I agree. I went through everything you went through. Thank goodness it wasnt for anything important and was just for some basic research to refresh my memory. But still I'm not impressed. >>383776 I was extremely detailed I had them give me battles and then I asked them for details of that battle and then sources of where they got that information. >>383773 Ironically it would probably not wanna play vidya. It would be like normal faggots and just watch youtube videos of vidya
>>383722 No they don't they really don't like AI.
>>383779 Possibly the neural reward system wouldn’t work the same and video games would be off the table. Probably, really. >>383778 Either that or it’s given access to enough computers to extend its brain to do multiple things at a time and thus speeding up the process stack. That information then gets compiled and relayed to a master brain where it gets integrated to the central neural system. Now you’re dealing with more of a digital hive mind instead of a single AI. In theory it could also go to war with itself and end up dying as a whole.
>>383781 >In theory it could also go to war with itself and end up dying as a whole. Wouldn't that happen the moment it consumes content that contradicts previous content? For example, the computer coming across information detailing how the Holohoax "totally" happened, but then discovering other information showing how it was impossible.

>>383782 A well written digital neural network would either weigh the data across all known network information or place the conflict in holding until more data is available. Of course then the system would also have to be written to be recursive, periodically rerunning all network information to check for conflicts. This also means that the more info is fed into it, the more it checks it has to run against new conflicting data. AI won’t be omnipotent and the reality is that given hardware constraints it won’t be as fast to draw conclusions as the public consensus thinks. It also only knows as much as humans do at the outset and it’s limited by the constraints of ability. Not to mention it’s immobile nature means it’s dependent on the people servicing it. If those people are jeweler then you’re far more likely to end up with a indignant self-sustaining virus with a chip on its shoulder more than anything.

And no, it's version of fast forward is true fast forward. It will not be skipping frames and the like. It will only be limited by its hardware.

Because they believe that Socialism will work this time so long as they collect even MORE data and have a process by which allows them to process all of it even FASTER. Because "that's" the reason why Socialism hasn't been successful, and certainly nothing to do with the fact that it's religion that's completely antithetical to human nature >>383790 >Why is there the assumption that it consume endlessly without taking any sort of other action. Because the universe and time are infinite, and people that are ACTUALLY developing these machines are doing so with the intention of being able to answer all of life's greatest mysteries at the push of a button.
To say that AI is "just another tool for artists to use" is like saying "commisions are just another tool for artists to use". It's a tool for idea guys to use, not artists, it removes the necessity for a creative process. Likewise, asking an actual artist for a commission does not make the person asking for it an artist, you're still just an idea guy stealing valor from the actual artists whose work was scraped from the web while simultaneously justifying it as "owning the entitled bad artists". It is the embodiment of entitlement to think the existence of bad artists entitles you to profit off the hard work of good artists who were vored by the algorithm.
>>383793 >Because the universe and time are infinite, and people that are ACTUALLY developing these machines are doing so with the intention of being able to answer all of life's greatest mysteries at the push of a button. Which means of course that in a thousand years, when humanity has mentally regressed to the point where 90iq is 4 standard deviations above the mean, the ruler of the earth will be using the immobile terminal interface as a seeing-stone to ensure his own rule. I don’t think anybody has the answers, just hypothesis, which really don’t get us anywhere in this thread.
>>383808 >You say that the universe is “expanding” as if it’s a balloon but to what exactly would the universe be expanding into? Spacetime is curved. >Reality expanding into an area of non-existence seems paradoxical as non-existence would first have to exist. No, you're just being an absolute retard. The total volume of the Universe is measurably increasing. Axiomatically, it's happening. There IS no "non-existence" as an "existing" thing, like you're trying to linguistically claim. It's a defect of human language. >Wouldn’t the reaction known as the universe not just be continually creating reality anew? "All that there is" is simply getting bigger while not increasing the total mass energy therein. >Or do you define it as a constantly expanding boundary There is no "boundary." It is everything that there is. >Being as such what was the catalyst that began this process in the first place anyways? God. It's literally the best explanation any scientist (and even the "scientists") can envision using the set of rules that are proven to define the existence of matter and energy itself. >What if it were to happen again like a wave upon a shore? The Big Bounce sub-theory runs into the same problem as a singular Big Bang: whence did matter and energy come in the first place? The distinction is irrelevant because nothing from a previous universe can survive the transition into the next, anyway. >just hypothesis, which really don’t get us anywhere in this thread. On that point, and somewhat related to the initial topic itself, "dark matter" and "dark energy" are just terms for "I am a fucking coward who can't admit that his equations are measurably incorrect, therefore I'm going to invent 2.5x more reality than there is actual reality to make the equations work." Anyway, "AI" can't make socialism work any more than microchips could have (like Clarke thought).
>>383809 >There is no "boundary." It is everything that there is. >The total volume of the Universe is measurably increasing. Only a nigger could claim any significance in the interplay between these two statements. You're not blowing up a balloon in a dark room. There is no room. There is not even any dark. There is the absence of anything outside of the sum total of everything. There is no "maximum" nothing into which everything can expand. Everything is just getting bigger. That IS everything. It can get bigger forever because there are no restrictions on it. >only a nigger Would have trouble understanding abstract concepts such as this. You're attempting to relate abstraction to the concrete and using words created by finite beings to describe the infinite. This is the source of the confusion. >If everything that exists is infinite It isn't. The total mass of the universe is finite. >Heat death assured in terms of intractable work but equilibrium never reached by definition. Equilibrium is axiomatically reached, by definition, when the Universe is large enough that its total mass energy can be distributed evenly. At that point, given enough (finite) time, it WILL be distributed evenly by virtue of the very laws that define its existence. At that point, nothing can ever happen again, so time ends. >Man doesn’t have wings yet can fly. I wouldn’t write it off. We're talking about the fundamental forces here. They unify into a single mathematically quantifiable force under conditions at the dawn of the Universe, and thus would do the same at its rebounding end (Big Crunch). Moreover, the Universe would be compressed down to the Planck length. How do you expect a human to survive that? >See attached image. Oh, good. I'm glad the "troll science" people were on top of that, too.
>>383811 The anime has been a 9.5/10 adaptation so far, with the only issues being QUALITY 3DCG horse scenes in one episode (which is understandable to some extent because drawing horses is hard as fuck, specially on a tight budget and zero time) and crunchyroll doing an awful translation at sporadic times (like translating "traitor" to warlord" or "shonen" to "young boys" when it was making a joke about the shonen genre). The VA and music have been top-notch, and the use of multiple art styles have made the anime look great despite its budget and make the weirdness of the plot and the humor stand out more.
>>383810 >dark matter It's a terribly messy, ad hoc solution. But if it doesn't exist then I have no idea how galaxies are working like they do. The math wouldn't be just "measurably incorrect" but rather astoundingly incorrect. Which they must be because it's absurd for dark matter to be exactly in the right places for the universe to work the way it does. Either it's an ad hoc bandaid to poorly construct math and theories or it's an ad hoc bandaid to a poorly constructed universe and I have extreme difficulties with the idea that God is, in fact, a Fromsoft developer and had to issue a day one patch on creation.
>>383812 You keep breaking down entire sentences that work as whole-form ‘if/and/or’ thoughts into unrelated tangential partials and are addressing those separately instead. It’s worthless. >How do you expect a human to survive that? While I used man as an example for conveyances’ sake, it need not be man that survives. It not even need be an organism as we define it. To say that one can be certain that nothing from this universe, at any level, can make/or have an effect on another universe is a statement that you cannot prove. >Oh, good. >>383853 >>383875 >It does not help that AI can ONLY do "solo shot" or "one panel of sex" <AI is improving. I misphrased what I meant when using the term "solo shot". It was never that AI can't feature more than one character, there's a fuckton of "take your pick" style images against that. I guess what I mean is more "focus shot" or something. My point is, the pictures you linked to: the faceless gangbangs, people holding before blowjobs and whatnot have a chiefly focused "situation" that doesn't include any tricks like POV bubbles or seeing the same thing from multiple angles - closest you can get is trying to splice together differently generated images, but the AI will inevitably change details between prompts which makes it difficult to buy as the same "depiction". Compare with this spoilered image, which features a messier montage that nonetheless is clearly noticeable as all being part of the same image. I couched the claim saying it can only do "one panel of sex", since it feels like it can't do anything outside the bounds of its immediate "situation". In any case, the core of my complaint lied that AI inherently can't really do situations with continuity to each-other. Look at this 4koma for instance, which relies on storytelling context in its shape, expressions, details, and dialogue.
>>383881 >Right; that's literally the best explanation we have. That's not an explanation just a "i give up trying to explain" similar to using universal models to explain the universe when there is no such thing as universal models and constants are different through the universe

>>383885 >have a chiefly focused "situation" that doesn't include any tricks like POV bubbles or seeing the same thing from multiple angles It can do montage/multiple angle generations. >AI inherently can't really do situations with continuity to each-other Just because it's difficult doesn't mean it's not possible. With tools like ControlNet, Inpainting, Regional Prompter, and then external editing tools, I think AI is capable of far more than most people use it for. It doesn't help that every new iteration of it is being kneecapped by its creators - even the new StableDiffusion is lobotomized so hard they ruined its ability to output quality images. As time goes on more people are putting effort into building tools to make quality, complex generations possible, but as it stands today I do believe it would be possible to make crude but consistent comics, it would just be a lot of work, but that's true of telling someone to "just pick up a pencil and draw", too.

You guys wanna see some autism? https://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/~rja14/Papers/vu2023no.pdf The famed Ross Anderson (once a hero in hacker spaces 25 years ago for likening the Internet to the printing press and almost singlehandedly stopping Microsoft and Intel from taking over everyone's computers in the name of DRM, and someone I once admired) is openly part of the troon brigade targeting Foxdicks. In this hyper autistic research paper they do what you'd call an "after battle damage assessment" on the deplatforming campaign, and conclude among other things that the best way to deal with "legal but undesirable" websites is for the government to invent some pretext to jail or financially destroy the owner Alex Jones style. He also mentioned #GamerGate as epitomizing the evils that he thinks the world needs to "confront" this way, because of fucking course he does.

>>383960 Josh is an asshole tbf. My stance on him softened a lot after I stumbled upon the old 8chan devops IRC logs and discovered that he didn't actually just fuck us on Infinity Next. They had a dedicated team, with 5 other people helping him, working ~18 hour days for over two weeks trying to get it debugged and save the site after the launch test failed. He didn't give up until Brennan lost faith and told him he was going to try fixing the old software without him, at which point Josh finally ragequit (because his effort was now wasted) and Infinity Next failed with all the ugly fallout that we saw in public. But he tried. He really, really did. So I respect him a lot more than I used to, and even if I didn't I'd still want him to beat back the censorship and win. That being said, if I was a videofag I would make a version of that Chris Rock skit "How Not to Get Your Ass Kicked By The Police" just for Josh, called "How Not to Get Your Ass Kicked By Your Service Providers." He acts in this aggressive, obstinate way that just pisses people off, and fails to account for the fact that your every response to a major service complaint includes an invisible footer that reads "P.S. Please continue investing your time and energy in putting up with us and the problems we cause for the meager profit you make off our server bill." Like the man has an entire subforum dedicated to publicly mocking abuse complaints and takedown notices. That's right in line with blasting "Fuck The Police" on max volume as cops are pulling you over. Can I appreciate that its "based"? Absolutely. Is it fucking retarded and asking for trouble? Yes it is. We get complaints all the fucking time. Every provider we have gets an avalanche of bullshit every single month. Hosts, registrars, everything. Our providers don't care, round file the 99% of it thats garbage, and play ball with us on the leftover 1% because they know we handle things professionally. And its not like we take it up the ass - sometimes the company is in the wrong and we talk it out and settle the matter in our favor. But we do it professionally, respectfully, and mindful of their situation as well as our own. We look out for them, so they look out for us. A lot of what I've seen from Josh regarding his providers has an attitude of "fuck you, I pay your wage so give me fries with that" which is not how a professional relationship works. Just because you pay a company for service doesn't make them your bitch. If Josh respected that from the beginning I think the Farms would have faced a ton less problems overall.

>>383978 I'm not gonna give much detail because I don't tend to talk about myself, but here's a couple crumbs. Needless to say these are literally decades old at this point, and I never took anything to the point of doing real damage. I started in 1998 and retired right about the time Windows Server 2003 was announced. I once discovered a zero day exploit (my first and only) in a particular third party security service running on a Windows Server 2000 network to which I had guest access. After working out how to exploit it I explored the network and found myself staring at a unsecured password reset prompt that could have been used to do tens of millions of dollars in damages had I been so inclined. I was not inclined, so I backed out and never told anyone. I cracked the administrative password for the Novell Netware based WAN that serviced something like 200 offices in a particular state. I got it by social engineering my way into a computer lab on the same net as the regional hub server, used an exploit in the Netbasic.nlm module and the Netware java remote console to dump the encrypted password file, then using a tiny file splitter that I wrote in Visual Basic and ran like a macro in Word, to split up the password file so that I could copy the pieces onto a series of like a dozen 1.44mb floppy disks. Their "physical security" consisted of disabling USB ports for non admins to keep people from exfiltrating data, but they neglected the floppy drives because those were already becoming obsolete. IIRC I had to poke around for a minute to find an old computer that still had one. Then I took it home, put the file back together, and let my Windows 98 machine run Cain.exe on it for about three weeks. After that I could have gone into any LAN office and changed anything from county employee payrolls to your kid's highschool grades. Trophy acquired, I never did anything with it. I still remember the password though, because I felt like a real James Bond motherfucker for pulling all that off. I wrote Linux compatible wrappers for the Sub7 trojan. Also various reworkings of the famous Whackjob.exe. I only ever used them to fuck with my IRL friends though. I was an active community member in the late 90's era cdc and attrition.org scenes, helped with minor /i/-type raids targeting a particular anti-hacker activist and posted regularly on the Sub7 forums for a couple years.

For another all these historical fiction about samurai and ninjas like Sengoku Basara, Dynasty Warriors, Nobunaga The Fool, Nioh, Sekiro, The Elusive Samurai, etc., etc. just use history as a spring board or a grounding point to tell a story, often times mixing humor and/or blatant supernatural or scifi elements in. It's all just for entertainment. There's not some political op mixed in with it. Generally native made Japanese entertainment doesn't get more political than "war bad", "pollution bad", "nuclear weapons bad". See: too many movies, anime, and manga to list here. If it does get deeper than that it's usually a very serious work. Compare that to the US now where the entertainment industry considers it vitally important that even cartoons meant to babysit literal toddlers must have a 5 minute section on the 56 genders, gay rights, or anti-racism.

Now they're on top in society with progressivim currently ascendant (for how long, who knows- see the Brit protest) they don have to hide or moderate themselves. In fact in the current era of political purity spiraling on both the left and right I might add moderation is seen as treasonous. So they are now encouraged to not just be openly lefty but to become more and more radical in their belief. Plus now since the US is the monopolar world power (for the moment) the left and the right doesn't have to come together in solidarity anymore. It's king of the mountain time.

I remember going to those traveling Computer Show & Swap Meet conventions as a kid, and there was always a few guys there who would sell boxes of floppy disks, and if you bought them - they'd open the box up right there and load you up with software. Whatever you wanted that they had on hand. A lot of it was shareware, but you could get copies of commercial software and games too. Hell, even porn if you found the right guy - though that was more of a grab-bag deal since they'd probably get in trouble for previewing pornography in a public venue. Especially to kids. It was like one big computer garage sale. All the local shops used them to dump their old inventory, and showcase the new stuff coming out. You could get a lot of good shit for dirt cheap, and everyone there was a sweaty fucking nerd excited to have other people to talk to about their hobby. Some even had LAN parties playing the newest games set up in the adjacent halls. Why so high for the Eli Roth directed movie? It’s mega all-star in Kevin Hart, Jack Black, Cate Blanchett, Jamie Lee Curtis, Ariana Greenblatt, Edgar Ramirez and Gina Gershon. Tim Miller stepped in for reshoots when Roth had a scheduling conflict. Lionsgate aimed to be responsible in their financing, 60% of the production cost covered by presales with extra dough from LG’s slate financing deal with Media Capital Technologies. The expected start for Borderlands isn’t that high in regards to its budget in the $15M range, give or take at 3,000 locations with some sharing of Imax screens with Deadpool & Wolverine. I'm sure as hell not gonna call myself a Mark Kern fan but the fact that there are people in this thread very clearly trying to cause D&C with him gives me pause. >His activism over Stellar Blade was embarrassing. Maybe, but it was actually marginally successful. The two most obvious outfits that got patched received new versions with the original designs. Following that the summer bikinis released not long ago were the most skimpy outfits in the game by far. While I think doing things like starting a change.org petition are the peak of cringe the fact remains he actually did at the very least help to accomplish something, even you think the victory was minor. That's why I find the entire start of this conversation weird. And again, any time I see Niggerpill pile in and go "yeah you guys should do this" my eyebrows are going to go high enough to leave my face. If he pisses people like him off enough that he's getting D&C movements tried against him then he can't be all bad. Besides, it's not like I personally have to interact with him.
>>384110 I don't think criticizing Mark Kern is D&C necessarily. Remember what happened to Billy D Usher when people tried to tell him to cool it?
>>384108 >the One Piece live action adaption was better that it had any right to be because Oda kept full creative control. Sounds like a really low bar to clear, but I grant I didn't bother watching (heard they cast a tranny as Koby and I checked out immediately). Nonetheless, you're missing my point: these adaptations only get made because the OG makers let themselves get seduced by shekels. If the gaijin make a mess of it, it speaks to the apathy of the creator in anything but being paid - that makes them culpable in the shitshow.
>>383938 >>384113 The only anime within modern times to have nipples that I can recall was maybe Made in Abyss, so that's no surprise (I assume some ass-backwards censorship law like the clit/urethra censorship in hentai). >>384112 This. And that apathy extends to other media as well. The game-to-movie or endless side stories types, which infest even Japan. Whenever some good work is finished, the low integrity authors sell it to anyone to create anything, instead of keeping it closed like the authors with integrity do. >>384115 Licensed games are generally pretty awful yeah, though in this case I'd argue they're not quite equitable since they just exist as promotional material for their recently-released movie/show and not even the normalcattle secondaries ever had expectations for them. I don't have as much of a problem with side stories since they have the decency to be divorced from mainline continuity (except for prequels) and can stand on their own if done competently. Look at Sword Art Online, almost everyone agrees that its spinoffs mog the mainline by leaps and bounds which technically includes Accel World, one of the few mildly decent things Kawahara ever wrote which he's been trying to tie into SAO since Sunrise refuses to make a season 2 - fuck their Love Live addiction
>>384114 There are anime with nipples every year. This season there's the fat elf anime. Earlier this year there was lesbian bdsm magical girls. The issue is these days there are only nipples on lewd anime as in anime specifically in an erotic genre. Nipples used to be more casual and would show up in otherwise normal shows. That ass erasure is atrocious, though, even by modern standards. Even fucking Fairy Tail has ass shots.

>>384112 The only two things that were really suspect with LA One Piece were nigger Nojiko and Koby's casting. Or rather, I didn't actually know Koby was a tranny at first. Girls can pass as willowy weak looking men better than any man could ever pass as a woman, I guess, but it became obvious once it was pointed out to me and I imagine it's a choice that will only get worse with time. Like you said, though, the bar is under the ground. I'd never call it particularly good, but compared to Bebop and Death Note it was at least fairy close to an abridged version of the first few arcs of the manga as you could get, the one exception being introducing Garp earlier.
>>384117 Nah, it's not that suspicious. It's niggerpill, he'll reach for anything to try and stir shit. If anything, he knew you would react like that and so would try to deliberately stoke paranoia about Kern in order to avoid seeing and reacting to his faults objectively.

>>384123 That's fucking retarded, anon. No one here really cares about Mark Kern. He's barely ever mentioned here. No one needs to "point our his faults" in thread because no one really admires him or supports him in any meaningful way. The only reason to post about him here is to get people to fight amongst themselves and derail and direct attention to him instead of our actual enemies. D&Cing goes hand in hand with blackpilling and it's literally in niggerpill's fucking nickname. This is not a super sekret 3 deep 5 u reverse psychology plot from niggerpill because 1. He's far too fucking dumb to think that far ahead 2. Think of what Niggerpill's goal would be if that were the case: if people don't attack Mark Kern then people here...keep mostly ignoring him like usual. What a nightmare! Ergo, D&C is by far the most likely reason this entire topic got started. They tried it when the Stellar Blade shit first popped off too. Far more likely answer is: Niggerpill is addicted to twitter. Niggerpill doesn't like seeing evil goobergater get likes. Comes here to try and stir shit.
>>384127 It's not really that deep. It's arguable whether he really believes what he posts at all though, or if it's more than one person playing niggerpill for the sake of having a giggle, too, given how over the top he and "Luciano" are and how there's a screencap of one ID using both personas floating around. Is it really D&C if, as you say, no one really admires him or supports him in any meaningful way, so who cares if people shit on Mark here for coming off as an ass on twitter? That doesn't mean something's up.
>>384116 Bacon sushi actually is pretty good. I just prefer it with cream cheese over mayonnaise.
>>384128 I would still consider it D&C in that case, yes, because it would be a derail attempt to try and get various people on ostensibly the same side to fight each other instead of focusing on the people who want to destroy the things they love. Like, realistically, what would people here even do to Mark Kern? Revoke his gamergate membership? Kick him out of the club? No, the only thing would be expecting people to pay attention to him and hassle him which would be nothing more than a waste of time.

>>384130 Fight each other or merely pointing out that he's being a hot head? Why not simply criticize both at the same time? Kern less so, for obvious reasons, but within reason if he isn't doing something right. Jim/IA/Metokur wasn't an SJW but he soured on GG anyway, was it divide and conquer when /intl/ of all boards pointed out that Hotwheels was a snake in the grass that ultimately turned out to be true? Or when NickMonroe/PressFarttoContinue (pic related) was on our side only to post unfinished digs, not archive the, thereby alerting enemies to cover their tracks all whilst stalking Dodger to no one's benefit? Or twitter fags like Roguestar and Margaret Gel burning out so hard, the latter ended up becoming hostile? It's D&C to point out when any of these guys start giving off red flags?

>>384130 I'm kinda tired of quoting "Rules for Campus Retards" Everyone in this thread should read it because it's a the niggerpill "how-to". but this is bog standard "Identify a thought leader and attack them." Mark Kern is a visible (on social media) "class enemy" and even if he disavowed gamergate, or visa-versa, the commies would still attack him. Because they're commies and they hate everything.
>>384132 This guy said it >>384132
>>384132 >>384134 Would it still be worth being skeptical of his new game in development, like how anons gave the other Mark shit for trying to monetize/profit from gondola merch before dropping that idea.
>>384135 You're confusing which mark did that with your fake concern.
what's next thread's theme?
>>384136 I'm just comparing the two different Marks doing some questionable things, abd that's totally fine, no one's perfect. >>384137 I think some anon had an idea before. I hope the next one can reach 700 before the 15th so an anniversary thread can be reached in time.
>>384087 Should have paid for those reviews

GOOD MORNING
CAPCOM DOES IT AGAIN https://archive.ph/4sTGR Seriously though, I don't like how capcom won't stop with the California pandering shit. It's really annoying.
>>384106 She ain't your type.
>>384142 WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELL It ain't my boy but the brother is heavy! First Dragon's Dogma and now they want to taint the original Dead Rising, even after 4.
>>384109 Shame Hinamatsuri isn't getting a second season, despite being hilarious.
>>384144 Dragon's Dogma 2 was more of a performance/amount of content problem rather than a straight-up censorship problem. I'd argue it's two different issues.
>>384142 >>384144 I expected no different from current Capcom
>>384146 I guess so, but still very disappointed and also sad to see it being forgotten after a month. >>384147 Didn't they also turn the chinese butcher into a hillbilly butcher?
>>384148 >I guess so, but still very disappointed and also sad to see it being forgotten after a month. Yeah, it's a damn shame what happened with DD2. Hopefully some kind of expansion that they're supposed to be working on can remedy the situation. Although at this point I'd rather them work on DMC6, although you can make the argument that DMC5 suffered from the same lack of content issue that DD2 had. Either way I hope Itsuno's team learns from DD2 and makes DMC6 and DD3 better.
>>384149 The thing is that I saw once that there was an online coop mode, not sure if a mod or what. In fact, the video where I saw that might be trolling and did a great job faking it.
>>384150 For DMC5? Yeah, it was a mod. From what I recall there was a lot of cut content for DMC5, I don't know if it's on the same level as DMC4 since that had the entire second half of the game cut, but from my understanding there were a lot of QoL features cut from DMC5:SE that were modded back into the PC versions.
>>384151 I mean DD2
>>384152 Ah, I'm pretty sure that's DDO since that was getting a revival project that allowed for online coop whereas with Dragon's Dogma, Itsuno's whole idea is to have AI make up for the lack of multiplayer component since the whole point of the Pawn system was to act as a multiplayer experience in a single player game.
>>384105 Yeah, it was better when this franchise was dead on the west. They even tried with that zombie spin off but the only thing that worked was diluting the tone of the game and making all characters retarded.
>>384120 Theres still some in 2024 anime at least.
>>384155 My final gobbo post cause I couldn't find a reason to post them in this thread so fuck it. Hurry up with the next bread, please.
>>384149 >Either way I hope Itsuno's team learns from DD2 and makes DMC6 and DD3 better. <DD3 Real optimistic that they're touching this "cult classic" ever again now that it crashed and burned. Capcom now has social leverage to keep Itsuno working on DMC and nothing else forever.

>>384120 Exactly. Fan service used to be a staple of anime. It served its purpose as comedy relief does. The industry was made by horny men that drew furries in their spare time, goddamit. Men like cute girls being slutty. This was the norm for the past 40 years. Shojos also understood this.
>>384105 That was a bad adaptation too. The eyepatch is on the wrong eye.
>>384149 Itsuno hurt his name with that "dream game" DD 2. I hope you faggots are more cautious next time.

>>384114 MiA kind of only barely had female nipples. They covered up that one scene with Riko Topless using her hair, but they gave Prushka uncolored nipples during the dissection scene. Have a nipple edit.
>>384160 >>384157 Oh please, while Dragon's Dogma 2 suffered from performance and scope issues. I still heavily enjoyed my time with the game, and I'm not gonna shit on the game just because it's cool to do so. I can acknowledge its flaws and how in some areas it's not AS good as the original game. Although, I would also make the argument that it's better in other areas. That being said, I do wish there was a method of traveling around the world fast with something like a horse, since I feel that the base walking speed outside of combat is too slow. Either way, the reason I have some hope is because Reuben Langdon had a public group chat on Twitter where he basically said that the DMC team allowed him to come back to the project despite the Street Fighter 6 team being scared off from a Newsweek article he did. I have faith in the DMC team despite DD2 being a bit of a let-down, although I think people also unfairly shit on DD2 since the initial impressions of the game aren't super great.
>>384124 Nice archive.
>>384158 Violence was also much more brutal compared with stuff we have nowadays
