Because I'm an autist who loves this game to death. Discuss what you want post about your playthroughs, post fanarts you found that you like, your memes, what you like/dislike about the game(s), what you wish was changed, what you wish there was more or less of, and just whatever else you want, ask questions or whatever else. For now, I'm just gonna use it as an uncensored dumping ground for my Shrink High pics; I have plenty of things to say but I plan on eventually making a review of the game myself so I won't talk too much about it in the initial posts unless someone else starts

Regarding Gaiden: I have not gotten around to playing it yet but I am aware I will hold a negative bias towards it. Mainly due to how biased I am towards the first [and, in my opinion, only] game.

The almighty ass smash attack, the fact that you're literally fighting at the feet of schoolgirls, the copious amount of scenes and CGs, the exciting and titillating dialogue and scenarios, the fact that there is literally content for everyone, the foot stomping and hand crush minigames, the overall premise of the game itself. I mean fuck. Its absolutely glorious. Was looking at some dialogue earlier when I was messing around, the fact that some of the generic A.S. schoolgirls talk about how they'll get promoted or something for crushing you, good lord that's fucking hot. Thank goodness it does not know if it is an RPG or a porn game. The fact I can appreciate a good game and get aroused from it is absolutely brilliant. You said it all yourself: it really is a near perfect marriage between those two elements. Shrink High is a masterpiece in and of itself. While most eroges leave that certain feeling where you go through an insufferable "gameplay" just to be rewarded with a flash of a CG, in Shrink High at least you get an enjoyable ride from beginning to end where its CGs works as the cherry on the cake. Thanks for letting me hear about your experience with the joystick/keyboard integration anon. ^: The way even the battle system itself, made within RPGmaker capabilities, was titillating enough by itself when including attacks such like the Ass Smash or the stomp minigames. That is without even mentioning the sprites for the schoolgirls and whatnot. It is absolutely brilliant and it excels in delivering a pletora of kinks to appease a wide audience amidst either its dialogue, gameplay or more direct ways like CGs. Shrink High manages to accomplish something that even games nowadays struggle to accomplish only to fail miserably. Shrink High has ambience. It has a charming atmosphere which not only sucks you in but also feels arousing on its own. Even if most of the lower rank girls were brainwashed into seeing tinies as mere bugs, it was fucking hot to have them snuff the life out of you under their feet as a mean of prestige. One last thing before I am done throwing my two cents to that game: Just because you caught me in the middle of my bullying antics anon, here is a translation of that Mia picture handing a Pocky box to the viewer [You] from yours truly. Something to add on the battle system, I'm really glad they used the side view and not the cheap dragon quest style front view (and actually made it titillating to play with ofc.) Most size games and RPG maker games that do the 1st person battle systems are so lazy. The battle system serves little point in most cases, just sort of bad filler or unengaging, using too many stock effects and making them all feel the same as well as being lazy. Just gif animations on top of unmoving stock jpegs. Fucking pathetic. Though I did play a size game (pales in comparison to SH by far but I give it some respect for what it is) that used that first-person view properly for size. You would face a sprite of the enemy, and the girl's attacks would be a sequence of pictures from the first person POV, with voice acting and screen shakes and stuff. It was actually pretty well done all things considered. It was all in 3D renders and 3D models but I liked what I'd played so far. >lower rank girls Iirc it wasn't full-on brainwashing, it was more a subtle influence + relaxing their inhibitions and increasing aggression on top of it, but I'd have to double check There are certainly differences between many of the lower rank girl's dialogues and I like that a lot Some more enthusiastic to crush you than others and whatnot, I remember one of the regular A.S.S. girl's dialogue in the encounter was literally to pretend like she was on your side to lure you in, but it failed and she got angry. It was a small difference but an appreciable kind of thing to see. Like you said it brings ambiance. That bit of flavor makes one wonder things like "how many shrinkies did she lure to their deaths under her?" and things like that. It was one of the hardest optional boss battles and should stay that way, it was good the way it was and the english version of SH was already lowered in difficulty compared to the JP version, this might be going too far imo. As a mod I might be able to accept it, but definitely not for someone's first time playing through.
