>>8065 I learnt martial arts growing up. Got into so many fights, I cannot even recall it. Training is very useful and naturally body weight too. But the most important thing is, - You should be willing to get injured to some extent - You should be willing to hurt the other person Most people don't have it in them to hurt someone else. They can threaten or even bully someone physically. But to properly hurt someone takes training or psychopathy. Having a weapon on you always is a very Aryan trait. It is good to have some basic training with this weapon too. Be it a pocket knief, stick, tasted, knuckles whatever. Nice training tips. I am partial to practicing kicks myself for a different reason. But in practice all this is tough with responsibilities.
Cardio is so important. Just saw a video of a trained guy gassing out completely in just over three minutes, which fits with my experience. The ability to stay fresh longer than your opponent is so critical. I suspect it also affects the ability to take a punch, the oxygen flow to the brain and level of mental awareness to see a strike coming.

Good fight aswell.
Robbery in Saudi Arabia, another good jabbing performance in the UFC tonight, Park vs Tavares.
https://youtu.be/S51c77Jt1AM?si=O0e1LYDjfQmhF0cu One of the greatest fights in boxing ever.
I only watch fights to see men get their shit wrecked. I support whichever side is more handsome and young.
Series of lame fights in the UFC and Kickboxing is fairly quiet except Glory which I don't care about. https://youtu.be/yHSOq5uptLs?si=Kq5uowMnd11ZzKY-
Fury has put on too much weight to attempt to out wrestly Usyk when the problem was a technical, not weight, issue. Usyk will be able to outlast and beat Fury, I suspect by late round KO. Fury won't have the cardio in the later rounds and won't be able to see or recover from big shots as his gas tank drains. I don't think Usyk is going to get hurt by Fury who doesn't have pop, especially after surviving some genuine hard hitters. Fury's jab, his money punch, will look slow and labored. He won't be able to outpoint. I also think he was surprised at Usyks power during the first fight. Fury will be a lame duck, unable to evade, throw in volume, or keep up in the later rounds. Should be a good fight, however.

https://youtu.be/GMV7Kfj6GkQ?si=ui4ouMEl5i2X8Xnh Drank too much, worked too much, am horny and sad Arguello is always there for us
Fuck yes, got every pick correct but didn't bet, would have won 300+ off of 25 bucks. C'est la vie.
>>8066 All good tips. Some fighters are genetically blessed but don't have the mean in them. Don't like hurting people and don't like getting hurt.

Series of great fights today.
>>8582 Dislike Carillo immensely, happy he got stopped. Relied on outweighing his opponents via abusing rehydration to win. Terrible "tall man" defense. Awful left hook. Bad footwork. Was able to beat fighters past their prime by being fucking massive for the weight class. Was stopped by Nabil who is tall for the weight class but has actual skill. Anane stopped him with punches too and got of next to no knees. Super impressive performance imo.
>>8583 Chin out in the air as well. Just overall bad technique and hated seeing him do well.
Trish stratus in Royal Rumble 2025 ! And a female wrestler did the worm ! I found a good source to watch UFC too now.
First Indian in UFC lost so bad it ain't funny. Embarrassing loss, even if it was stopped early.
>>8727 Saw the highlights after seeing this post and it is brutal. 19 seconds KO ! It happens though. We really do need fight culture in India big time. We need Indian fight leagues and even WWE like fake wrestling to promote martial arts and fights in India.
https://youtu.be/GiapEYRkkGs?si=gkWkh5ZudQK8zPBY Interesting video, have some thoughts I might share later.
>>8756 Reply didn't get posted again but do post your thoughts. I personally feel, 1 martial art should be compulsory in every school and for every kid.
>>8870 Compulsory should be camping skills. No urban indian can survive in wild while typical developed country kids(as long as has good education) goes regularly in the jungle (although safer) for camping, boy scouting, picnic etc.
>>8875 You watch too many tv shows if you think an average urban western kid goes camping, scouting and actually learns to live off grid without a tonne of help and expensive gear. Unless the kid already lives in midwest or rural appalachia or has hunting experience from his parents, he won't know about rough outdoors lifestyle. Just like a kid here.
>>8728 Unfortunately I don't see any kind of martial arts getting pushed here. Hell, any sport other than cricket has a hard time getting popular amongst normies. The only sport that somewhat manged to get traction is kabaddi. We have akhada wrestling, but I don't think that's getting a league anytime soon. The best way we can try is popularize karate and boxing, the most common type of martial arts.
>>8870 > 1 martial art should be compulsory in every school >>8875 >Compulsory should be camping skills That's the last thing you want yaar. Camping is available. There used to be Scouts like decades ago tho in limited schools. Now I don't see any of that. NCC is there for gwareeb kids. It's not fun at all tho. They are used like free labour to manage gatherings and they don't get any respect at all. Like people hurl abuses at them all the time. I you want to make anything compulsory through schools, they will increase the school fees more than they need to ad will give a subpar experience of that. If you are talking about camping, I hardly think whites are gonna "survive in the wild" in their camping trips. A camping in reality might just be a glorified picnic for them. Sure a few people would try the real thing. If you really want to learn or your kids to learn those it's better to do it separately.
>>8881 as per the why endia lacks in UFC or xyz sports, idk about that but all that needs top be done to overcome it is adopting the chinese model. Instead of spending so much money here and there building faulana dhamkana stadium an schemes, they should scout for talent at birth or during the child's formative years. The govt could simply take away the child bypassing any need for formal education and train him in the sport he is most capable in. If it doesn't work out then drop him with a lump sum amount as payment for damages and if it works out then great. We literally have too many desperate people to say no to that.
>>8213 > I support whichever side is more handsome and young. kekwa are you gay?
>>8870 There are so many factors that could go into explaining why but the only real issue is the lack of emphasis on martial arts and athletics within India. If the population cared about performing well it would perform well. I do think after school martial arts would go along way, but there is no will to do so.

Combat sports have fallen off a cliff. This year set to be the worst in UFC history. At least we can enjoy boxing.
>>9360 Dude there are combat sports between countries right now.
