General Thread #4 9anon##VADEJq 04/27/2025 (Sun) 06:17:47 No. 6874
A thread for general jumpchain discussion and chatting. Please make sure to spoiler explicit images and keep hornyposting to a minimum. Old Thread: >>4720 Horny Thread: >>728
>>8977 Have we gotten told yet if Celestia is evil yet?
>>8986 All circumstantial evidence points to "the founder and it's original purpose was evil, but individual gods who are members are conflicted and some aren't necessarily total cunts"
What are some good Jumps to learn curses/plagues that won't kill a target, but will make their lives a living Hell? Nightmares, general misfortune, painful boils, lice, blindness, permanent paralysis, standard Old Testament stuff.
anyone know of any decent CK2-style quests that aren't in Warhammer?
>>8962 I'm not sure if the thing about the Alien Priestess is odd or not. Since they have some unexplained ability to not be noticed by things.
>>8826 There's some in professor paradox's Beast the Primordial jump.
I realize that if I accept Honkai I could attain a shit ton of power but I refuse to let that thing exist.
>>8977 And cute everything in fact.
Do any of the Fate jumps offer Lord Camelot?
>>8988 Harry Potter magic can do all sorts of nasty stuff.
>>8994 Garden of Avalon >Fairy Weapon- 400 >All of the Knights of the Round have their own special weapon. A magical sword, a enchanted bow, a special shield. These weapons are often crafted by the hands of the fairies themselves, creating immensely powerful weapons for the greatest protectors of Britain. Now you too have a legendary weapon in your hands, on the same level as things like Excalibur Galatine, Arondight or Lord Camelot. You might choose an enchanted sword that can unleash gigantic blasts of energy at will or a bow that fires a dozen shots for every single one you loose or even a flail that can command the wind as it slams into your foes. You could even have a magical prosthetic arm that unleashes blades and blasts of light on command.
>>8994 >>8996 Lord Camelot is the Shield right? >so long as the heart doesn't break, those castle walls too shall never crumble kekekekekekekekekeke
>>8996 Do you think that would include all its abilities? Because it feels a bit strong for that. >dimensional shifting nearly like Avalon >basis of a summoning system >unbreakable thus far >immunity to poisons and the like >can share effects with allies >>8997 To be fair it’s never broken. Though Goetia hit hard enough that she got vaporised regardless, the shield never broke.
>>8997 Why are you laughing like a dipshit? >>8998 Val isn't here to yell at us, so fanwank.
300 mil left on the debt counter. You know, Hardspace Shipbreaker is...both relaxing and not. It demands a certain level of focus and effort from you-you can't just mentally log out and let it roll or else you're gonna blow something up or let your shift timer drain away. But at the same time, it's not INTENSE focus. It's just a sort of...zen, where you need to keep some fairly simple things in mind but can just sorta get into a rhythm as you work. It's nice.
>>8986 Like anon said, the Heavenly Principles themselves are definitely evil (od so uncaring about mortals and gods that there is no difference), but gods under Celestia or who are associated with it are fully capable of not entirely agreeing with their boss and can actually desire to help Teyvat's people as a whole. Ronova herself was even somewhat sympathetic to the Lord of the Night and helped in the establishment of Natlan's laws and the founding of the Night Kingdom out of love and reparation, and Ronova is basically an aspect of the Heavenly Principles. Obviously this didn't work out given she was punished for it later, but it shows that even the Shades themselves don't fully agree with their boss.
Can't believe we're at over nine thousands posts.
>>9002 Tis the power of Jumpchain Autism.
>>8994 Technically any that let you be a Servant. >>8998 It does list Lord Camelot as an example for a comparison. So probably >Basis of a summoning system Also that's literally just do to being made from that round table and thus 'a place that gathers heroes'. Anything object that had a myth about a lot of heroes gathering do to it can do that. It also requires the rest of the summoning system to matter.
>>8998 >To be fair it’s never broken. Though Goetia hit hard enough that she got vaporised regardless, the shield never broke. It's the little details. >>9000 >300 mil left on the debt counter For one moment I thought it was on real life.
>>9005 Nah, definitely not real life. I'm not that deep in debt. yet
>>9006 The spoilered yet fills me with a bad feeling.
>>9007 You and me both.
>>8930 Looks and personality. It is all said and good to claim jumper wants some insane woman because he can fix her, but I know too many horror stories that it is impossible to change women without pregnancy. And if they do not change after having kids there is no helping them.
>>9009 You have perks for that, dummy.
>>9003 >jumpchain autism like you’re not just spending all day blogposting
>>9010 But there is also the part of how lazy jumper is to try, even if they have the perks. And some women lose their appeal when they go safe and sane.
>>9011 And hornyposting, don't forget that part.
>>8847 >Metatron Jeanne Does this mean we're actually going to get some God lore and that he is also a saberface?
>>9015 Either that or he's an Emiya clone.

>>9000 I sure would like to relax from Fate living rent free in my head right now, I think I'm going to actually seethe myself to sleep after bitching about not being able to reliably sleep earlier in the thread. The exhaustion of sustained, focused research and spite-buildmaking/catharsis-jumpmaking/the sobering realisation you are going to delay spite-buildmaking just to wait for more thorough research to be translated as a direct reaction to anger is truly a wonderful sedative. I wish I could just bottle this shit and live off it all summer when the heat won't let me rest. >>8992 Same. The Honkai will get bonked on the head and shuffled somewhere into the Sex Dungeon Dimensions of Edom where it cannot invade any worlds worth destroying. >>8990 Even though Metatron's merger with a dumb baka human is a massive L, the thing is legitimately powerful. In it's natural shape, an angel is simply a vessel for power. It has an EX ranked skill which is compared to (but distinct from) the Independent Manifestation Skill, which allows an angel to appear wherever the concept of an angel arises. It has a skill that doesn't just prevent detection of it's true name, but disadvantages from detection of it like tracking or binding. The Noble Phantasm embodiment of one of it's true names is a Fire of Sinai expy and compared directly to Rhongomyniad in destructive power. Oh yeah and Metatron has a skill for having it's power amplified while sitting on God's throne; this is apparently why Jeannu Metatron is NEETing around all the time
>>9004 Yeah but Val has an issue of not including all the details of powers and items and it makes a part of me question if she balanced it around the full thing or the partial one she writes.
New thread soon...

>>9015 >God lore That's the scary part, we will see something that is stupid beyond human comprehension, with a grain of it being actual genuine lore. And we will all kill ourselves because it was a dumb filler with dumb things on it. >he is also a saberface Kill me. >>9016 >an Emiya clone. Kill me harder. You know actually I'd be fine if they were to make something like Kama, Emiyalter or Queen Draco. Because they would look actually different instead of a copy pasta. Oof my standards. >>9017 >spoiler Kill me hardest holy shit. This is hurting my poor mecha.
