what do you think is the real reason for the various lockdowns around the world? I mean, is it just government retardation or do you think there are more nefarious reasons behind them?
Well, if it isn't complete government sponsored tyranny, it sure as hell has made a great test run!

more like this shows how socialists in the world have nice positions of power and are ready to act when wichever spacegoat they find to force their agenda and how normalfags still are easy manipulated (but not that much anymore as you see on the net) to believe authoritarism is acceptable in emergency (or that normalfags fear because they believe most people believe this false consensus bacause of media 1984-like propaganda).

I (assume) the virus is real but it's hard to ignore the other stuff: >emptying prisons and loosing violent felons into the general population to supposedly "protect" these patients from covid (this includes rioters btw, LOL) by releasing them into the general public where it's spreading >normalization of/demand for people to start obfuscating their identity behind masks despite months earlier loudly proclaiming the masks as being medically ineffective >USA one of the only countries that tallies deaths with C19 in the same manner as other countries count deaths from C19 >Hospitals being depopulated and financially crushed on behalf of C19 patients that never arrive, but are given sums in the tens of thousands of dollars to diagnose a patient as being a C19 carrier (a perhaps deliberate incentive for fraud, for example: https://fort-russ.com/2020/06/empty-coffins-empty-hospital-brazilian-mps-expose-biggest-covid-19-hoax-known-to-date/ there was once a video in this article showing Brazilian government toughs raiding a supposed "field hospital" that was completely empty, but youtube removed it apparently and the account that posted it as well-probably for "spreading coronavirus misinformation" one can assume) Real or not, COVID-19 could very well go down as a political tool on the same level as the holocaust by the time Trump finishes his next term, we could see the formation of a "second wave" narrative that will push the fabric of believability to the brink with millions supposedly having died and the lack of a commienazi response being the supposed culprit.

>>3600 I genuinely believe that these people don't understand the consequences of what they're doing, and most of them are just copying each other because they think that's how they should appeal to their electorates and the media; just look at how hard NYT went after Sweden. They might be malevolent on some small scale (e.g. backroom deals with people who pay you a lot of money). But a lot of this has happened with public support. I'm not at all surprised that it happened in the European and Asian nations because we all know how they think. Government officials and agencies are regarded as generally benevolent; government work is regarded as a respectable position. Whereas here in the US it's usually the opposite. But the culture has shifted thanks to public education. The idea of there being limitations on government or government having a functionally limited scope has disappeared. Just look at all the alphabet agencies that people assume to be part of every day life--that are so ubiquitous that people attribute authority to them based on their existence alone; because if they were unjust, obviously they wouldn't have lasted for so long. I have heard multiple people simply assume that Congress writes the rules the FCC and EPA enforce when the truth is precisely the opposite--that in spite of all the talk about separation of powers, legislative authority has been delegated to executive agencies.
Americans scream that they are resisting tyranny, but do you see any protests?
>>5254 our protestors havent been released from prison yet
There is not a single thing that the government has not destroyed now and Americans walk around saying everything is wonderful. How would you feel if you wanted to get married, but your girlfriend lives in Australia and the borders are closed? How would you feel if you wanted to buy razors, but razors are locked up because the government has legalized theft and stores want to reduce shoplifting? How would you feel if you wanted to drive a car, but the state requires your fingerprints to get a license? What would you do if you wanted to work, but the government said that you must get a dangerous vaccine? What if you wanted to buy a dog, but the government said dogs were illegal?
