Karens v. libertarianism Anonymous 08/31/2020 (Mon) 23:12:25 Id: 5e6d1b No. 3621
Who's the bigger threat to liberty? The millions of Karens in local city governments/HR departments/government agencies, or the federal government?

women in power, hands down
>>3621 >[faction in society] or the government? It's always the government. It's easier to convince self-righteous and narcissistic Karens that they will have their own little microcosm of the market to distort however they wish, than to convince them to reject power and embrace some kind of enlightened bigbrain individualism. You can take collectivists out of the state, but you can't take the state out of the collectivist, and even if it were possible, we have to stop to think if it's even desirable, and if it's not wiser instead to exploit this strong human need to live in closely-knit tribes of shared culture and values.
>>3628 What about local governments v. federal government, at least in the U.S. perspective?
>>3621 In liberland the Karens will be put to heel.
>>3630 Localism is always good.
There is quite a bit of tyranny at the local level: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IKVU7yXv75g
>>3676 Government should never be a necessity if possible.
One reason Karens have so much sway is because they have enforcement agencies to appeal to--their ultimate weapons are bringing the courts down upon you or enacting some new regulation to stop the thing they don't like. The argument between local and federal I think is the same as always. Decisions at a smaller government level enable people to more easily vote with their feet when bad decisions are made.
jews whose deranged dreams of ruling over their betters, in which goyim are cattle. that's all.
>>3633 Isn't liberland an actual country?
The federal government is bad precisely because it has power for "Karens" to abuse. On a daily basis, local Karens are worse because they can wield a lot of power and make your life unbearable. On the other, it only takes a few Karens at the top to intrude on everyone's rights, but they usually have to push harder and way for an opportunity to push their agenda. Contrast this with the local level, where they get their policies in because nobody cares and nobody can be bothered to watch them and tell them no.
>>3813 Yes but no, it's unclaimed territory between Croatia and Serbia but neither will let anyone visit it.
>>3621 It's Shaniquas in local government not Karens.
The government has ruined everything. Loud refugees live near you because the government has started wars. You can only have poor quality clothes because regulations have made US products too expensive. You can't move because the government has closed the borders and put everyone under house arrest.
