Any moto friends here?
>>3327 >spongy brake abs? air in your line? >revving its a sports bike, thats how they work. i got a cbr125 and the powerband is at 8k-10k.
>>3374 -good rubber -both disk brake rear/front -water cooled -injection -good headlight -comfortable -good on gas those are the top point.
I get so tempted to open my door when you friendos drive by my car between the lanes in traffic. Besides that I have no problem with motofags.
>>10240 Feel free. Those guys are douchebags. >b-but lane splitting is perfectly safe and legal in certain parts of the world! So is blowing vape clouds in people's faces, but it doesn't make you any less of an asshole
>>10240 >>10244 >being this easily pissed off You're gonna get pissed on, til you snap.
>>10244 >>10240 why would you do this? Just, why. Why does it even make you angry? I do not understand your brain.
>>10255 >smaller object that's harder to see and more vulnerable than a car >deliberately puts self in other people's blind spots and then everyone assumes that you're the one at fault when he swings to the side of you while you try to change lanes after leaving your turn signal on for 10 seconds. Guys like these give riders a bad name and are the reason freedom hating countries around the world have engine size/configuration restrictions. That and the whole >hahahaha I get to skip ahead of all this traffic and you don't because you need a truck for work. U mad, BRUH? xdddddd
>>10264 >hahahaha I get to skip ahead of all this traffic and you don't because you need a truck for work. U mad, BRUH? xdddddd It is true doe

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jfZDDqa9eY8 >>10264 in actual countries, drivers are instructed to check their blindspots with an over shoulder check before changing direction or if necessary lanes. The fact is that it is lawful to filter on a motorcycle, and it's your obligation to accomodate it. I personally disagree with a lot of laws regarding bicycles, I don't think they should be allowed on the roads, but they are, and you have to work around it and adopt your driving. embed related: how it works. Notice drivers cooperating by making room and giving warning about pedestrians. They understand the law and understand that filtering is allowed to ease congestion and keep traffic flowing, which is a benefit to everyone, including car drivers.
Should my first bike have abs?
>>10275 What are you, gay?
>>10264 Stay angry.
>>10264 Couldn't it reduce traffic congestion and the risk of being rear-ended by an unaware driver?
>>10308 It does.
>>2141 Me again. So it's the end of My Vacation 2016, and I've come to a conclusion: I'm probably going to sell my FZ-09 next spring. Why? Mostly because of the way I ride, and my geographical location. You see, I don't like to take long trips, I like to do shit that I can turn around in a day. Unfortunately, I live in a place where everything is spread out and if I want to go anywhere I have to dump that shit on the highway for hours, which I hate, and there's only so much to ride locally before doing it all over again. Also, when I'm active on the bike, I'm fine, I can ride all day, but on the highway, doing nothing, not moving, fucks me up, it's like my joints lock up, so even if I pile on 3 hours of highway to get to some nice riding, by the time I get there I'm too stiff to have fun. That's not the bike's fault, when I had a scooter I was like this, when I had my WR250X I was like this, and being like this with the FZ bums me the fuck out. Yesterday I gave it one great push and rode a 1000km day, going for a round trip to Ottawa, and when I came home last night, and still this morning, I'm fucked up, and worse, it's not like I had any great fun doing it, just highway highway highway highway highway…. FUCK.
>>10503 Touring bike maybe? Or you might just need a car for those long trips.
>>10511 I can't deal with big bikes, I just can't like 'em, I learned on a 250cc sumo and even if I like the FZ, I miss my WR250X dearly.
>>10512 Fair enough, i'd actually go for a 150cc and maybe a 250 or 300 after that, but im too broke for either so it doesn't matters ;_;

1st gen SV friend checking in. pipe, air filter, proper jetting, series rectifier, charging circuit cable upgrades, headlight relay kit, idiot light led swap Bone-stock appearance other than that. Next bike will be an SV1000, unless you have access to a good traffic lawyer you gotta stay away from those 4cyl superstports machines. May also try a naked bike, changing jobs so no more long ass highway commute, fairing may no longer be necessary
>>10503 You are a candidate for one of those adventure bikes… V-strom 1000, lots of torque, comfortable on highway, decent in the twisties. Not very sexy though, unfortunately
>>8853 The acceleration isn't insane. Gearing is not too aggressive in stock form. Easy to ride and gets more fun the better your skills. one of the best beginner bikes and value for money.
(789.32 KB 4000x2667 Yamaha-T7-Concept-action-07.jpg)

>>10897 If there is to be no <400cc sumo, the T7 which was shown at EICMA strikes me as a good idea… only swap that front wheel for a 17 inch and fit 80/20 tires like the distanzias I had just put on my WR250X when it got stolen.
So what is a good second bike to move up to from a Bandit 250? I'm a LAMSfag and I want to get a Vulcan S or similar kind of cruiser, but given my only experience is on my Bandit I'm not really sure what I should do next.
What is a good starter bike to also learn how to fix bikes on? Something older and simple. Anything under 100cc. I just want something I can use around town and learn how to fix engines on. I live in a high traffic area, so I don't want to go long distance on it. Say what you want about me wanting a slow bike, but that's what I think would be fine for me ( for now)
>>11167 Anything Japanese. No seriously, anything Japanese will fit the bill. Even the easiest to work on car will still be more difficult to work on than your average Japanese motorcycle. However, if you want something specific, the Honda Super Cub is the first thing I think of when I hear your criteria. >super cheap even when it was new >infamously bulletproof >simple construction >literally without exaggeration the best selling motor vehicle in the history of the world so you know you have a great aftermarket for parts >hipster chicks will be all over your dick
>>11169 Since I want to work on it I guess even finding a beater would be fine? Any clue what a fair price on these are? I'll keep it in mind though.
>>11170 I'm not an expert but according to this graph its anywhere from $1k-$2k which is cheap even by motorcycle standards. You might even be able to get one out of state and have it shipped to you if you find a seller willing to do that with you. https://motorcyclegraph.com/usa/honda/super-cub-50
>>11171 >>11171 Thanks for the info. I don't even have a permit or license for a bike yet. I figured I could fix one and learn on it. Could be a fun project.
(144.20 KB 800x600 TMZ 5951.jpg)

what do you think about this bike?
>>13246 Looks like a fat midget
>>11167 if you go a bit over 100cc, there is a huge market of affordable 125cc bikes that are extremely simple in construction, with parts readily available from the manufacturers.

>>3519 any other dualsporters here?

Reviving bread Just got my first bike and I'm looking for saddlebags. They need to lock and be rain resistant. What should I look at? More importantly, what should I avoid? Pic related, my new bike.
I managed to finally get my motorcycle license this summer. Too bad it was late summer and life in the Scandinavia is snow and rain, but I got a little bit of driving done. My first bike is a used Kawasaki ZX600 from 1999. It's pretty fun. This thread didn't really help stave off my craving for going out and riding.
>>14348 Northen yuropean too? Sweet. I plan on getting my bike license this winter, so as soon as the snow goes away i can pass the exams and spend the summer on my Minsk. Found an almost functional Minsk under some tent behind a barn. Owner just handed over the documents and said that it has something going on with fuel pump. It was kicking out blue smoke when i tried to start it, did not start though. That smoke looked hopefull though.
