Hi guys! New /o/ poster here, I never came because of all the "8chan's /o/ is dead" I keep on reading round here. But I like the slow pace of the chan and I don't want to come back to halfchan. Anyways, any Eurofags here? I want to make an image summing up all the used cars you can buy cheap any user could see. I'll be making it slowly and I'd like your contribution, since I'm not an engeneer but just a car enthusiast.

I wished to make the halfchan's US equivalent for Europe.
E320s are terrible. Don't get me wrong I have one but they're a lot more problematic than "electrical gremlins" and maf sensors. Id imagine the rest of that infographic is also shit.
yuropoor reporting in, my knowledge is limited but would be happy to contribute with what I can
>>10703 I'm actually working on these and Mercedes-Benz has the best ranking when it comes to reliability here, except Honda and Toyota. So it might be yours that got fucked up >>10708 Sweet, I'll be making a list soon before editing the picture.
>>10710 Hooo jesus…you can google "e320 spring perch" and "mercedes biodegradeable wiring" if you like. The larger issue at hand is you don't seem to have any FIRSTHAND PRACTICAL KNOWLEDGE of these vehicles. Yet that doesn't stop you from handing out advice. A cynic might say opinion and experience are inversely related. and they'd be right
>>10711 >for 1993-1995 E-class Well, 4chan's /o/ might have a thing with cars of that age. I can notify it on the board, I didn't make that one.
Here is my list, based on reliability indexes (Warrantydirect (UK) and ADAC (Germany)) Good cheap car for less than 5K€ First line: compact hatchbacks (base models in Europe) >Peugeot 206 >Dacia Sandero >Ford Fusion Second line: micro hatchbacks >Wolksvagen Fox >Ford Ka >Citroën C1 Third line: compact sedans >Mercedes-Benz C-class >BMW 3-series E46 >Audi A4 Fourth line: hot hatchbacks >Citroën C2 VTS/Peugeot 206 S16/Renault Clio RS >Seat Ibiza cupra >Audi A3 V6 Fifth line: Coupes >Mercedes-Benz CLK >BMW 3-series E46 coupe >Audi TT Sixth line: Sports cars/GT >Chevrolet Camaro >Alfa Romeo GTV >Subaru Impreza GT Seventh line: wagons >Dacia Logan MCV >Audi A4 avant >Mercedes-Benz C-class Eigth line: Real 4x4 >Lada Niva >Fiat Panda 4x4 >Land Rover Range Rover Ninth line: SUVs and crossovers >Honda CR-V >Toyota Rav 4 >Wolksvagen Touareg
[Expand Post] Tenth line: vans >Wolksvagen Sharan >Ford Galaxy >Mercedes-Benz Vito Eleventh line: compact vans >Mazda Premacy >Wolksvagen Touran >Ford C-Max Twelwth line: Luxury cars >Audi A6 >BMW 5-series E39 >Volvo S60 Thirteenth line: AFAYDCG >Subaru Impreza >Opel Calibra >Porsche 924 turbo Fourteenth line: less than 1k€ edition >Mazda Demio >Renault Clio 1 >Wolksvagen Polo Fifteenth line: special snowflakes, /o/'s favorites I can't fill that one myself heh
>>10716 >only post '95 cars except for the calibra, the polo, clio and niva wew
>>10717 hey I just based myself upon reliability tests. Feel free to update.
>>10719 There's tons of cars you list here that could be found cheaper and better than most of what you listed keep in mind most cars designed after 1995 have reliability issues and are nigh-impossible to work on due to electronics or bullshit parts and screws also cars between the early '80s and mid 90's are really fucking cheap, I'm talking 1000€ for a clean-ass 205 cheap that will last you a lifetime and you can fix with a standard gearbox and some elbow grease.
>>10720 I know that. Except that 205 aren't that easy to find anymore, as they start to go collectible. Also a 205 lacks the confort for going on the motorway, but this could be a fine choice for a purely city/countryside ride. I don't know much about reliability, if you could update the table that'd be sweet.
>>10716 I think you meant Ford Fiesta instead of Ford Fusion

>>10914 Not really actually
