How would automobiles and their infrastructure have evolved had Hitler managed to win the war?
We would have much better roads and a crapload of medium sized cars that all use the same parts bin with infinite customiseability. Also equal driving tests, roadsigns and traffic rules across Europe. Downsides? Probably less incentive to buy a car because public transport would be really good.
One single furher approved model for the whole world with a single engine. Not the brightest future for a gearhead.
>>18064 >One single furher approved model for the whole world with a single engine. National socialism isn't real socialism Anon, there were plenty of private automobile manufacturers in the 3rd Reich.
>>18066 Still though, automobiles, much like every other thing, might have been immeasurably impacted had the Axis powers won, and not necessarily for the better. Take Japan for example. >Japan doesn't lose >Ergo Japan isn't poor >Ergo Japan doesn't make cheap, small econoboxes to get back on their feet >Ergo Japan never learns how to make reliable, robust cars >Ergo Japan probably never makes anything that came as a result of conquering the world in the second half of the 20th century, and most likely keeps to themselves instead of forcefully branching out Think about it. No GT-Rs, no Supras, no Evos, none of that riceburning goodness. You'd probably see the Toyota Crown or some variant thereof, but you also won't see any of their Kei cars I would imagine, since Japan would be so filthy rich they'd just combat the space problem with garage complexes.
>>18067 >The Japs make enormous steel cars with thirsty V8s and Toyota, Honda and Daihatsu continuously try to one-up each other with higher and higher displacement engines >Chrysler, Ford, GM and soon AMC make small, efficient, reliable cars out of cheap metals and plastic >Westaboos all over Japan flaunt their "ADM" Turbo I4 Mustangs and Camaros
>>18066 for how long though, since Hitler planned Volkswagen to be for everyone?
>thinking that the engineers on german war vehicles could make reliable civilian vehicles If hitler did nothing wrong then he wouldn’t have lost
>>18074 Her cap is way oversized
