Aviation job questions Driver 07/03/2019 (Wed) 18:25:50 Id: f3a1d0 No. 18438
Hello /o/. I'm a southern boy, and I had an idea. I was trying to think of a job that I'd like that would make a rather fat sum and still be entertaining. I gravitated to the idea of going to flight school and learning how to fly. Seems like it would be a lot of fun, but I'm a little stuck. I was wondering if I should go for learning to operate a helicopter or an airplane? Or maybe even another kind of aircraft job (do you have any ideas?) I live an equal distance from the airport and from the hospital, a handful of miles, less than 20 minutes. I don't exactly know which one would make more money, or be better for a lazy kid like me. Though I do like a little bit of zest and excitement. I'd love your input.
Nice double post, faggot. I'd go for the plane if money is what you're after. Plus you're more likely to find a job as a plane pilot than a helicopter pilot.
Sorry, I thought something was wrong. It sat on posting for an hour and I couldn't find it in the catalog so I tried to repost. Yeah, I did think a plane would be more relaxing…
Plane over heli any day. Planes are much, much safer. Your engine fails, you can glide at least to a certain degree with little to no skill. Helicopter engine fails, you are dropping like a rock and you get one, two if you are lucky, chance to pull off a maneuer that has been only described to you but never tried in practice because it''s too dangerous. Not to mention plane pilots generally have calmer jobs than heli polots.
Cost of school is high and once you get it, it will take a while to get the high paying jobs from the really big companies, or you could just do it for a few years before selling yourself to China where they are in need of pilots badly and are paying very well. Planes are safer but if you go China, practice your English Chinese by going to China Town and understand their broken English.
Interesting, I knew the school would be a little bit expensive. I wonder if I could get help to pay since I'm from a poor family. I know my state does that (TN), but for 2 years of public university free. I didn't think I would be working for the Chinese, but I could try to make it work. I didn't mind where I worked as long as I could get enough money to feed myself and get a new house someday.
>>18460 Don't forget that commercial airlines work you like a nigger. If you're as lazy as you say then maybe rethink this career path entirely.
