No, they're not just to squeeze as much money from motorists as possible, it's all about safety. That's why the 'safety' cameras are all on main roads with lots of traffic, including buses and trucks. And usually on a downhill section. Meanwhile, on suburban streets where children play, 'safety' is less important - it's up to Shane in his corsa to decide what is or isn't a 'safe' speed…

I don't know where you live, but our cameras are everywhere except dangerous spots and always in places you could go twice the speed limit without question.

>>18463 This. Flashboxes do nothing for safety anyway, because it takes one week for everyone to know where they are so people slow down a little at the camera and then go full speed ahead afterwards.
