>>6018 While I'm somewhat impressed that someone actually took the time to put that monstrosity together, they actually had to destroy two cars to make it come to fruition. Holy fuck that thing is awful. I never saved it, but the furry s10 is applicable for this thread.
It's ugly but gotta give credit to anyone that made it because it's quite well done. Kinda like the rear

>>6018 Did someone nail a new beetle's front and rear to the middle of an old beetle? Ugly as sin, but holy shit that's an accomplishment. I applaud the skill it took to do that. >>6239 Tasteless styling, nice base colour, though. The car itself looks pretty nice. > 2015 > Not modding your pickup truck with a cannon > Not adding rocket launchers to trucks > Not turning a bulldozer into a tank

>>6243 Yep. And it's been that way since at least 2000.
>>6245 Cocaine is one helluva drug
>>6245 Well I'm just going to go under the premise that the car had some body damage, and therefore had to be painted in order to cover up the bondo. If this guy actually painted a perfectly good DeLorian, I hope absolutely awful things happen to him. If he actually saved one, then good for him. I kind of like the DeLorian in red. That said, I'd never do it unless it was one that needed serious body work and paint was the only way to cover it up. I like the way they look with the stock stainless steel body, though. Were those taillights one off, or is there somewhere you can buy those? I've never seen custom DeLorian taillights.
>>6239 >>6243 You know what also once was a DeLorean? This. Thanks for nothing Will.I.Am. >>6252 This one was pristine, allegedly.
All these fucking ruined DeLoreans. You know what's even sadder? The one at Universal Studios Orlando. It's just falling apart. People who restored the BttF A Car offered to restore it for free but Universal declined.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0sAStaXPhLY Where were you when Catriona Stewart got BTFO a few weeks back? She justifies keying expensive cars. One of her reasons is that they'll never be driven to the fullest. Apparently she's never heard of track days, or going to mainland Europe for the Autobahn. I have no idea whether or not she's the same Catriona Stewart that makes kinky latex clothing. It's a damn rare forename. The only reason I know that is due to muh dik.
(1.93 MB 500x281 haruhi livid.gif)

>>6651 >>6653 I'd gladly drive around that thing, why are people so stupid?
>>6651 >>6653 So tell me why anyone cares about a neglected 280z? I can't justify absolutely destroying a car for no good reason, but it's not like we're talking about something of value here. This car was probably worth $1000 tops on the used car market. It's worth about $150 in scrap metal. Regardless, the car isn't totaled. Maybe one of you faggots should try to track the owner down and try to buy it from him. Hell, he'd probably pay you to watch it go through the crusher if he's willing to destroy a perfectly good car. It's not like anyone here has the money to actually restore that car to it's former glory. I'm just mad about the fact that some asshole decided to destroy a perfectly restorable car. hopefully it was his ex's or something

Any stickered car, but especially the kinda ironic ones ala "no fat chicks in this car lol" (which are useless, if you have that on your car, chances are you're into sucking the dick)
>>8898 There's a last gen Cavalier, hot pink with red trim, rainbow tinted headlights/taillights, giant fat can and "Ztype" badges all around. All completed with zebra print seats and a fake Ferrari steering wheel.
>>8926 Let's be fair: Stickers can be fine if they are related to your car and who you are. I got a small Nordschleife sticker and a small symbol of my nation on my car. Meme stickers though make everyone know that you're a huge faggot.

>>10203 I think you won't just deplete Jalopnik's salt reserves, but at least half the world's reserves. Best part is that you can have a few bumpers and swap stickers depending on who you intend to butthurt. Like one with a set of yiff and legalize weed stickers

>>14404 You seem to have put this in the wrong thread. This is the cringe thread, and that video's pretty fucking neat.
>>14611 If the kids love it, go for it. I know someone who could no longer pass car inspection due to rust. Instead of scrapping the car, she just removed the battery and told kids to go wild with it. That car still stands on its own wheels in a backyard corner. It could be startable, it drove there itself there. Kids play in it for 3 years now, and they still love it. Interior is absoloutely thrashed and reminds more of playground's sandpit, the bootlid is not completely closable, and there are multiple balls and potatoes in exaust. The car is Opel Astra F baby-sized hatchback. Kids agree that they could not get a better toy. After all, what gets more "real car-like" than a real car? I realy wana get that car for myself and the woman that owns it refused to sell it for 3 buyers alreadyIt would make a great rallycross car
>>14612 The minion goggles are actually just a removable windshield cover, without that it's a regular yellow Honda n600. Seeing it just brought my mind immediately to this thread.
My 2000 Mazda 323f got sent away from diagnotics because "We do not work with cars that old"
>>14666 I read: >your OBD is too old so we can't work with basic mechanics without electronic assistance we don't want to screw it up and pay you damages
>>14668 >>14666 That doesn't make any sense. OBDII was standardized in 1996, and literally every car made since then uses it.
(73.17 KB 1013x675 audi-q2-reartracking.jpg)

Plastic bumpers in contrasting colors are back. THEY AGED SO WELL IN THE 90'S WHY NOT TRY AGAIN?
>>14700 fuck off m8, plastic bumpers may look ugly, but they absorbed impacts much better than solid metal ones, scuffs came off if you just rubbed your dry hand on it a few times, and were a hell of a lot cheaper to replace. There's a reason most commercial vehicles produced today still use 'em, and that's because they're more of a convenience for someone who needs to drive great distances without that much care.
