Without taking too much time I'd like to ask that you guys be a bit careful in what you post. I have had my first global reports about your board. Nothing was removed so far, but I wanted to go over our understanding of 2D loli art and the law. There is currently a very gray area in obscenity law on the subject that we have to make a good faith effort to stay on the legal side of. Our understanding is that legal 2D loli can not realistically "depict an underage human being" with also being obscene. Basically it boils down to art that can't have particularly realistic features, up to and including body proportions, movements in the case of animation, or explicit depiction that the subject is an underage human being. Obviously it can't be traced from or modeled after actual CP either. Because its a grey area that we still have to follow, global enforcement will be firm but not heavy handed. We will not intrude on the board itself or interfere with the BO or mods except as Global Rules require. Posts that are global reported will likely be deleted if considered borderline, but generally without a ban. It isn't anon's fault for not being a lawyer, we just have to do our jobs and keep the server safe. For a good rule of thumb, you could probably consider most of what you see on a site like sadpanda to be legal, though not all of it. That is our understanding of the law and the legal requirements the site is under. The BO may also want to consider unlisting the board from the topbar until the current deplatforming crisis has passed so as to deny ammunition against us to our unknown enemy. This isn't a requirement or a rule, but it would be helpful in the big picture. Either way, welcome aboard and enjoy posting. I hope the board does well.
