wtf is aleph
>>10818 (OP) the A in Abjad
>>10820 why the onion URL called "aleph" and not 8chan ?
>>10835 dunno. i just answered your question literally. Aleph is like Alpha in Semitic languages.

>>10818 (OP) The onion link has direct access to the headquarters of the terrorist group Aim Shinrikyo (now known as Aleph). Acid is actually Shoko Asahara.
Aleph is a heavily modified fork of PenumbraLynx written for 8chan, bringing enhanced features and performance.
>>10895 Is the Hebrew Aleph logo a joke, or a genuine connection?
>>10898 It's a secret nod to Nazism as the Unicode hex numbering for a Hebrew aleph is 5d0, which translates to 1488 in decimal.
>>11036 Aleph unicode is actually 2135. Although I won't doubt Acid would put a joke like that, but that's Codexx's job here >>10898 Aleph is a symbol to represent the cardinality of an infinity set in set theory https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aleph_number You know, Infinity chan => a symbol related to the concept of infinity... it rhymes.
>>11128 There are a coule of alephs, but the first one is 1488. https://www.compart.com/en/unicode/U+05D0
>>11128 >Aleph is a symbol to represent the cardinality of an infinity set in set theory Cool. Kind of stupid that something sharing the same lingual root with "thousand" is used to denote "infinity". But I think it's safe to assume no one connected with 8chan shares any of the blame for that☺
>>10849 Alpha and Beta in Greek are derived from the Phoenician (Semitic) equivalent. It's also where the word Alphabet comes from.
>>12213 >the word Alphabet comes from. That was already implicitly covered. You just didn't catch it. In Arabic, the alphabet is called Al-Abjad=iyya, referring to Abjad, or rather A-B-J-D, although that old Semitic ordering (22 Semitic letters followed by 6 Arabic-exclusive ones) was largely abandoned in favor of A-B-T-TH== because of this guy: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nasr_ibn_%27Asim_al-Laythi That's why when Arabs talk about learning the basics of something, they talk about learning "the A-B of something" instead of "the A-B-C of something", because there are two third possible letters 🙂 So calling it an "alphabet" was (possibly accidentally) genius because fights about the third letter has no effect on the word 😇 But I digress, and this is probably too much linguistics for a random comment here.
>>12384 oh, i fucked up the formatting, but whatever..
(267.67 KB 1716x945 kike tor.jpg)

>>10818 (OP) A (((jewish))) word, referring to the first letter of their alphabeth, basically A, but they seem to use that in symbolism to mean "the start of" (something) >>10835 >why the onion URL called "aleph" and not 8chan ? What's the full onion link? Are you aware tor has ties with the jews too? >https://8chan.moe/.static/pages/links.html >Here are some links to other sites that you may enjoy. >Aleph, the repository for this front-end. >https://gitgud.io/8chan/Aleph This is not a coincidence, only jews use that word, you already know what comes next

>>10835 >>10818 (OP) TOR is compromised and kiked >>>/pol/7238
>>12513 There's still the I2P network, and the freenet (the latter of which is now officially under a different name).
