First determine the threat profile you're trying to mitigate Does waiting for i2p connections undermine security for those cases? If not, then just let your users wait for their own good. Maybe give them pong or tetris and a cool progress bar to look at while waiting. If it does, you can explore the design space. What options do you have that don't touch the threat? Can you persists the i2p connection pool? Hardcode a few fast introducers? Tunnel your bootstrap over another network? Something else?

Well first of all what I meant by “have to wait to make some connections” is that i2p is not like tor or any something like its peer to peer and it takes time to make tunnels to connect to an eepsite but the game and the loading bar is cool but the minimum time to kinda fully connect is probably 15 minutes and I have some apps in mind like librewolf mpv and vim and other apps that I’ll put in the project , and well the “bootstrap to another ” and whatever but it just and idea and still stuck about what to based it on like Debian or slax os or mx Linux or other live distros.

So an OS that defaults to i2p then? that's a really cool idea OP! Maybe include programs that help codelets create eepsites? the main thing holding i2p back in my opinion is barrier to entry, since i2p is easier to host content on than the regular web this would help it compete Though if it's exclusively a privacy tool that's really cool too
