seriously, what's the best amount of estrogen for feminization (ignoring androgen suppression) hon dose obv doesn't work, but too high estrogen apparently decreases the amout of e receptors if I understood that right? So what should you aim for? Maybe a cycle? And what about retaining minimal amounts of T for libido? Because prog doesn't seem to work for me at 200mg boofing And what nutriens are really essential for estrogen to do its thing?

>>1675 Someone else might know better than me, but from what I've heard, the whole thing about using only the minimum necessary amount of estrogen is basically just something doctors do with medications in general, and it's purpose is minimizing side effects from medications. This logic doesn't make as much sense for this because it's just hormones that can vary pretty significantly within the population in general. I haven't heard anything about reducing receptors, but I know there was some study where even people on a massive e overdose didn't have negative effects. I think I've also heard people claim they liked doing a cycle, but it's all mostly anecdotal stuff

Not trans, but shouldn't MtF transgender also use 5ar inhibitors for their hair? After all, some people somehow have so much 5ar in their body that even with crushed T they produce enough DHT to continue going bald.

Which is a double edged sword because it means all the data shows good results with artificially lower E-levels justifying the hondose that incentivises rigging the tests. That's a vicious cycle. I'm increasingly of the opinion is the only way to guarantee effective transitions is to deregulate estrogen and blood tests entirely. No prescription, no authority, everything handled by the tranny at the tranny's expense. What do you think the record is for estrogen dose? Has anyone ever tried to kill themselves with estrogen?

>>5160 >last results were really low even tho I've been double the "maximum" dose it's because it's gel. it's half-life is too short for you to maintain consistent levels over a longer period of time. by the time you reapply, your levels have already tanked even if you took quite a bit before. by inconsistency i mean that i don't want levels that shoot up and down over and over. i guess if you were reapplying multiple times throughout the day you could maintain levels, but that sounds annoying, and it's still going to drop when you sleep. injections have just seemed pretty objectively better since i started them
