I'd picture really tall, stilted stuff to only be possible in valleys that either had the hills sculpted to cut strong winds with turbulences or are surrounded by progressively shorter buildings to airbrake feasibly. On the other hand, buildings built into hillsides would seem like the cheapest hi-tech natural-disaster-hardened option. And one can expect prehistoric shelters to continue in a modernized form, since prehistoric ideas always hitchhike off a local efficiency maximum, reached with progressively smaller increments thanks to technological development. In calm climates however, anything fucking goes. Go wild with imagination.

For any A.V.I.A.N. lovers here that for some reason still play Starbound, I decided to crack open the Adult AVIAN mod and add more dialogue until she was fully compatible with Frackin Universe. Yeah, FU ain't everyone's cup of tea, but whatever. Everything said by the original SAIL, from item pickups to weather reports to mission dialogue, is now (badly) rewritten for best holobirb. There's roughly 2x-3x more dialogue than baseline AVIAN now. This is mostly untested, because testing radiomessages is a goddamn pain in the ass on top of vanilla Starbound bugs, but it boots and loads saves without crashing so it's good enough for me. I've also long had the 'bigger boobs' submod on so if you want her normal chestlet self, download the original off nexusmods and replace the spritesheet.
