okay so you guys didn't want to do an art trade with me for my /tvg/ video, fine, but what if I did a literature trade with you guys? I'm thinking one of you guys might have one of those local language models on a bigass PC and so what we can do is I'll pitch you my soulful idea for a short story and then you gen it, and then as payment for my idea you can gen my /r/? whaddya say?
Okay so get this, so have you guys ever heard of Arthur Jeremyn? I'm a big fan of Lovecraft, so... you'll see what I mean.
So anyway the story is about this guy, anon, who uses stable diffusion and he posts in this very thread. Whoa... that's kinda scary, it could be one of us, guys!! Anyway he notices one day that when he's offline, he gets all these error messages he doesn't recognize when he boots up comfyui or whatever. So then he reads them and the error messages refer to a folder he doesn't recognize and he looks in it and it's all laid out like LoRa training data. Except the "images" are... just his prompts??? And the tags are describing... his prompting style??? The only tag every prompt has in common is... no... it can't be...
it's "gooner"??
So by now anon is freaking the fuck out, he's trying to find out what this folder is and so he googles the name of the folder and it's the name of a SD extension. Okay, so he looks up the extension and the devs have a website. So he goes to the website and the LoRa is there for download and...
Nobody really knows what happened to anon. His butler found him dead the next morning... suicide, it seems. He shot himself in front of his computer.
And when they found anon, there was an ai generated picture of him on the screen. And the prompt for it? Only one word: "gooner"
